great video, really impressive craftsmanship! but i have to say, while i appreciate the intricate designs, sometimes it feels like the focus is more on aesthetics than functionality. do you think we might be sacrificing practicality for looks in metal work?
It's a dishonest technique developed by UA-cam channels to maximise their income. Many people watch till the end in the hope of seeing the appetising content promised by the thumbnail. Some will scroll to the last item before doing so (in expectation that it will be there as a reward for staying the distance) and if they don't find it there, some of those will watch the whole video, which is a win for the channel. This is why the promised material is omitted. AND IT SUCKS! Consumers are being trained to endure rank dishonesty (including clickbait titles) and crappy or misrepresented content because it's free. Ads are designed to litter content to the point where it is impossible to follow a train of thought, and present and even more so, future generations of web page designers have grown up with this as the normal way of presenting information (even on websites which are the public-facing window of a reputable business, where monetization is not a thing) and boy it shows in the disfunctional websites they design and administer.
7:40 How do the barbs stay on a single wire; friction? Normally barbed wire is a double strand wire so the barbs stay in place and don't slide alone the wire like these ones will.
@@wilsonrawlin8547 I can see the barb is added on top of the main wire. Hence a friction hold. Apply any force and the barb will slide along the wire. The only effective barb wire I know and have used is two strand (main wire). This stops the barb moving.
Over twisting of the barb. The barb portion deforms the main wire. Like when when you squeeze clay. Becomes very difficult to move without tools. This how ever is not doing that. You can see some barbs already are loose in the video.
Bad video. 😞 You must allow enough time for the viewer to watch the captions, and also, you mustn't change the location of the captions every time, they must be shown in the same location throughout the video, otherwise it's annoying for the viewer.
Why, oh why, are most of these crafts people not wearing PPE? Safety shields around red hot metal forging? Cut gloves handling steel sheets? Come on, it's 21st century wear it
Lol how much money do you think these people make? People working min wage jobs in America may as well be rich in comparison. None of them can afford ppe
Great video, but thumbs down for the fact I have to READ while watching a manufacturing process that is over by the time I find the text moved. Poor editing and sound, should have at least an AI voice
another freeze frame you never get to see what the hell was made. thye really need to work on their thumbnails dont show something if your not going to watch it.
Way too all over the place with info and subtitles. Keep it in one place so I can read fast and enjoy the visuals. Not play wack-a-mole with the next text.
You just earned another thumb down. Get rid of the stupid music! It doesnt make our viewing experience any better than if having got to hear the actual sounds of the machinery, tooling, processes, etc

yea i wanted to know what that was too.
I agree. I watched this to see the device in the thumbnail, and it was not there!. Blatant clicbait, I won't watch this channel again.

Did I miss the portion that was teased in the thumbnail?
@11:55 uh no, not for acoustic energy but to insulate the pipes so you don't lose heat or so cold pipes don't warm up.
So where s the cover image??
Yes somekind hydraulicpress within copper tips. What material they pressing? Why copper?
It seems like you can adjust the shape to the requirements, ab evolutive press.
So, where is the metal forming from clickbait ???
I am also wondering...so i give dislike and block this

What is the machine in the thumbnail? Looks like some sort of welding fixture
Dunno, was not in the video, so reported for misleading thumbnail.
Watching all this work. Now I need a lot of beers 🍺….. and relax. 😌
Cool, a youtube channel to add to the never watch again list.
Thumbnail??? I disliked the video because of misleading thumbnail
What is the name of the machine that can be seen in the thumbnail of this film and which, unfortunately, is not in this film?
7:40 How do the barbs stay on a single wire; friction? Normally barbed wire is a double strand wire so the barbs stay in place and don't slide alone the wire like these ones will.
I think the machine twists the barb and the main cable together sort of like a twist tie.
@@wilsonrawlin8547 That's how the double strand wire works, and why you need two strands, but I don't see that here.
@@spudpud-T67
The machine could be twisting them together at the barb location of the main wire.

It's so 1980's but I know it's more later and I love it ! :-)

The level of skill and precision involved in each of these metal work processes is absolutely amazing.
If you think this is amazing, look at fully automated car factories, for example.

Hardly anyone wearing safest glasses , even while forging!
And what is about skin and skin cancer? They are not office "workers", but still.
