My G Shock GW7900 G-Rescue Series died after only around 7 years of use. Not sure what the problem is but its display has been completely off for days. I've noticed that in the past couple months it would frequently shut off from I believe lack of power, and now it seems to either not keep a charge, or simply not charge at all.
good video, Question for you which I hope you can answer. I have a brand new Rangeman and all Bluetooth settings work well, however when Im trying to transfer the data "Maps" to the watch so i can use the Nav feature it always comes up as data fail. The red circles pop up but it doesn't load the information on the watch. Is there a trick im missing. Hope you can help
garmin tactix delta can hold topographic maps... do you really think that rangeman can do better in a survival condition than an garmin and its powerful navigating capabilities?
To be honest just take a compass you don't need to know the time if your trying to survive .... Just weather it's light of dark lol these things are tech cool but in a real situation you would want to know basic navigation and how to use a compass and read a map
Sorry for bothering you about this but need help finding a wireless charger for a Casio rangeman gpr-1000, can you help me find some info like where I can get it or something like that , any help would be much appreciated, thank you!!!!!
Great review of the watches. However, survival? I don't see any watch that requires charging other than solar, to be a survival watch, unless you're only going to be surviving for a day or so..... JMHO
The Suunto Core was my go to watch, a common battery which was cheap and soooo easy to replace and still had the ABC functions, but when I discovered the Casio Protrek line of solar watch's I now use the Suunto as backup. Loved the video.
I know you just do videos from other peoples footprint, but are you actually going to film reviews of a physical watch in the future? It would be interesting to how you would review a watch compared to others like Gshock highfashion, not sure if it's the device i'm using but the pictures look a little blurred and pixelated. You should do a history of Gshock for a future video
Survival watches are not really important realistically speaking. Why: 1. There are many other natural ways to find your directions (maps, following streams, the stars, etc.). 2. If you get lost & into a survival situation more than once... you're a danger to yourself & others. *Stay out of the woods!*
But with all the land development, There will soon be no more woods. The woods are soon to be EXTINCT. Especially the town i live in, Which is Austin Tx. They have developed almost all wooded property & Land and building so many apartment buildings and houses because it has grown so much here. Even the surrounding towns also. NO MORE WOODS. 😐🤐😔
Wrong, if you have the gpr-b1000 you have coordinates and bearing to some interest point (if you saved before) even better if you have a paper map and navigation skills.
I watched all the review about outdoor/survival watches almost 5 years..and finally I made decision to buy Gshock Rangeman GW9400. It's a damn good choice isn't it? LOL. Yeah so many choices out there but I think I made a good decision.
Hey I like your presentation hello from Atlanta Georgia yes you're right I love my Casio Pathfinder I really appreciate your video thank you for sharing
Sai, great question! That is definitely a topic that the team and I are working on. We'll let you know when it's complete, and for suggesting the topic, we'll even give you a shoutout in the intro of that video. Thanks so much! :-)
How can you call a survival watch a watch that doesn’t have a compass Barometer temp function or gps. At least it has to have 3 out of the four.. especially compass If not gps. Those without those . Are definitely not survival watches. But I do agree with the last no. 1 watch the rangeman . Used it in many situations that’s a survival watch.I’m talking from experience. (Ex Military) do a little more research before you post next time.
My go to choice is the latest rangeman but the only thing i dont like about it is the loss of sig alarm and that is the only reason i will not buy it as i am personally by the price n loss of everyday functionality as per sig alarm.. Vve4y ofended with c g shock rangman producers..
The words you are searching for is 'comfort' or 'comfortable', not 'comfortability'. Even my spell checker knows 'comfortability' is not word. Ps. mineral glass is not good for survival watches - you need sapphire glass, and no survival watch should need a charger. There are many Breitling survival watches that are better than the watches that you highlight.
My grandson wants a watch like the pro 'playas' wear, expensiveee. My son wants a watch like his 'man' Denzel wore in his movie Equa**zer 2 where he 'stop' times himself 'demolishing' the bad guys. IMHO if it is a survival watch, the pin that secures the strap to the watch should be a ROD with SCREWS at both ends.
really? top survival watches? its not a survival watch without a compass at least and barometer, direction and weather are the most important features in any survival situation.
Frankly, I'm on my 2nd G-SHOCK watch in as many years!!!!! The G-SHOCK may be "durable" in the sense of its potential to take a beating, BUT!!!!...the one feature of just about any G-SHOCK that I think is its Achilles Heel ARE THOSE STUPID STUDS/BOLTS (whatever you wanna call 'em) where the band meets the case!!! I paid about $280 for a Rangeman ($20 discount) and ended up breaking the bolts/studs @ one end of the watch! THAT IS NOT A MERE $2 FIX!! THAT WAS GONNA COST $250 TO GET THAT FIXED!!!!!!.....because they essentially have to replace the entire case!!!! HELLS BELLS!!!! I might as well get a new watch!! Which I did. But as a two time G-SHOCK owner, WATCH THOSE STUPID STUDS/BOLTS WHERE THE CASE MEETS THE BAND!! The watch itself may be durable, but those bolts ARE NOT!!
Those two last watches are NICE! BEAUTIFUL! But... I just recently bought the green rangeman as a Christmas gift to myself in December last year. Now I want to collect one of the last two I just saw on this video. I will put this on my bucket list for my birthday! What other types of watches ya'll got that I'm late discovering & that I don't know nothing about? I like to collect G-Shock watches! I already have quite a few. LOVE em! 🙄😍😊
Why are you even mentioning watches that don’t have a compass feature? I think that in an “oh shit” I am stuck in the wilderness situation you would need that. Your honorable mention is just a watch , there are no survival features at all.
I think it's just another person trying to be "non-American" in pronunciation and giving numbers in "non-empirical" form. Did America just switch to full metric while I was asleep?
In the end of the day it is only a watch so what is all the hype , it's like fashion some people only feel good when they weir the latest trend that goes for all the other items latest iPhone , headphones etc . You will be a much better person if you cut of all the labels and don't give free advertising to these corporations that part us with or hard earned money . We are all the same naked. Ps I have a Casio , cost me £19 , that won't impress anyone but it keeps good time .
SUUNTO SURVIVAL WATCH ?¿?¿? HAHAHAHQA REALY! HAHAHAH WHEN YOU HAVE BATTERY! AFTER WHAT? ..AND YOU NEED YOUR PHONE!!!! HEY MAN BRAVO!;.. HAHAHAHAHA SURVIVAL MAN With SUUNTO HAHAHAHAHAHAHA DAMN ........
Ugly plastic watches and people can track you. I prefer to use my mechanical pocket compass and a Vostok Amphibia automatic watch and paper maps. Also I use my 70 years of outdoor experience in field craft.. Good luck out there kids. I am in the south west of the uk so never far from people. If I was in the unfamiliar USA I would probably have to use these big plastic ugly environmentally unfriendly lumps.
They are more beautiful than most people I know. Also it's the same thing as with a cellphone, People can track you through it IF you have one. We just have to live with it. If we own ANY type of device, Our privacy is ruined/gone! But in the same token we need it.

I just got the GPR 1000 BDR KAHKI RANGEMAN, this watch is changing my life, pushing me to do even more everyday.
Should i go for Suunto Traverse or Garmin Instinct Solar? I am an adventure seeker in the woods and dont need music or fitness features.

My G Shock Rangerman 9400 is awesome. I love it, I hate the weight of metal watches.
Thanks for sharing but how is the Garmin Fenix 5 (5X) not on your list?
When she does reviews she doesn’t even have them in her possession she just reads specs on them
garmin tactix delta can hold topographic maps... do you really think that rangeman can do better in a survival condition than an garmin and its powerful navigating capabilities?
Yes it does. Garmin cant compete The toughness of Casio and Rangeman has outstanding batterylife.
am pm facilities in mechanical watches must for polar regions
To be honest just take a compass you don't need to know the time if your trying to survive .... Just weather it's light of dark lol these things are tech cool but in a real situation you would want to know basic navigation and how to use a compass and read a map
It's good to keep track of day light hrs when lost or just in the wilderness. I'm bringing a watch for sure.
i think you nailed it...but im wondering you didnt mention garmin solar instinct???
Sorry for bothering you about this but need help finding a wireless charger for a Casio rangeman gpr-1000, can you help me find some info like where I can get it or something like that , any help would be much appreciated, thank you!!!!!
how about the best watch- the Garmin fenix 6X Pro Solar Multisport GPS Watch
Hi
What about garmin watch ?
Thank you I went with the protrek 3500-1 appreciate your videos.
I have the GWG-1000 G-Shock Mudmaster and love it! Sapphire display, solar powered, ABC functionality, Atomic Time, etc.
Great review of the watches. However, survival? I don't see any watch that requires charging other than solar, to be a survival watch, unless you're only going to be surviving for a day or so..... JMHO
Video starts 4:09.
Thanks, how sad that your commend was necessary.
I think the br1000 shold be in 2 and mudmaster should ve in 1 because the rangeman needs a phone to operate and not a very good battery life with gps
escada. fboards I have the rangeman and I dont need any phone to operate it ... WTF?
Rangeman doesnt need a phone to operate. You can use GPS navigation and ABC sensors without phone
THANKS for your well done videos! I love the GW-9400-3 and have owned it several times.
What about the Mudmaster , another great G Shock Master of G... Don't you think?
Number 2 was a mudmaster
Bonjour So which one is the best ?
2024 and gpr-b1000 Rangeman is still The best
You do realize that the Music at the beginning of this video is about a Gazzilion Decibels !
How long the battery lasting for rangeman
It tells you at the end of each watch review.
29 months
pathfinder best watch ever made imo. love my prw-2500t-7er. and i have gshock mtg's and a gwg-1000 mudmaster. the protrek is king.
GARMIN use 3 sattelites like GPS-Glonass-Galileo, Navigation, Compass, Baro, HR, color TOPO maps, Pulse Ox Acclimation sensor
How is the Fenix 5x not on the list??
Because it's inferior lmao
Come on man lol. The Fenix 5 has actual maps on it. The G shock looks better but definitely not better when it comes to tracking.
@@marks6325 lmao im messing with u man the fenix 5 is a great watch!
I think “comfort” is a shorter and more standard word than “comfortability.”
The Suunto Core was my go to watch, a common battery which was cheap and soooo easy to replace and still had the ABC functions, but when I discovered the Casio Protrek line of solar watch's I now use the Suunto as backup. Loved the video.
you should put the fenix 5x in top 1,with real maps and 16 gb
Where is PRW 3500??
I love the G-Shock number 1. Because of his design and abilities . 10000 Tumb up for G-Shock number 1.
No Coros here?
Rangeman is the best !
Can you please make gd-100 tutorial please 🙏

She does a super job with mostly access to images rather than actual models. Would be great to see a review of a physical watch, too.
Survival watches are not really important realistically speaking. Why:

2. If you get lost & into a survival situation more than once... you're a danger to yourself & others. *Stay out of the woods!*

Haven't seen a Nautica watch in years

Do u have a video of top survival watches under $150? Nice video!
Sai, great question! That is definitely a topic that the team and I are working on. We'll let you know when it's complete, and for suggesting the topic, we'll even give you a shoutout in the intro of that video. Thanks so much! :-)
Have a look at the Casio SGW range. Sub $100 watches with compass, barometer and altimeter
Casio Pro Trek PRG-260G I bought in 2015 for $180 Canadian, I still use it today... little worn (paint worn), works great.

Steven Carusone
Can you recommand any videos about that watch and/or the handling or training that goes with that kind of devices? Thank you!
good clear objective info
Thanks

Love the gwg 1000 1a1 full black
If I go to war, the G-SHOCK is going with me.
#absolutetoughness
Top 10 casio g-shock survival
You want top 10 list? Top 7 isn't enough for you? :-)
If The watch doesnt have gps navigation and solar powered, it's not a survival watch.
You have a really cooooool voice👍
Warm nice voice

Iknow that you are a Navy Seal. 11/07/2018 thankyou for your review
really? top survival watches? its not a survival watch without a compass at least and barometer, direction and weather are the most important features in any survival situation.
WTF is this list? Survival watches needs a good ass battery for the long haul and decent navigation tool like a compass as a bare minimum requirement.

Number 7 e 6 here
I know you like g shocks but they are the worst bon the list. You talk about the great feature but don't say what they are

too many wayyyyy toooo many ads woman!!!!
Unsubbed...Garmin Fenix 5X is missing
Hazard David touchy touchy lol man you took that crap personally lol
GWG 1000 #1
Casio pro trek is the best
Great review...
Comfortability??? 🤣
If it depends on a battery, it's not what I consider a survival watch. Gpps? Learn to read a map!
Paper maps are EXTINCT these days. People. Rely on electronic devices now.
@@tinnybird1971 Foolish thing to do

Как можно говорить о часах ,,выживания,, суито и гармин? Их батареек хватает на 4-6 месяцев!
Cool Mrs .X
What can'a say ???
Comfort not comfortability
