My dad brought me a G shock when I was 12, from his first trip to Japan. 21 years later my brother now wears it, works like new, never skipped a minute. Amazing. Japanese perfection.
I bought one in 1996 and it finally died on me 4 months ago. Best work watch ever. Bought another newer model and love it as well. Next on my list is the mudmaster.
I had a basic G-shock in the military and I really put it through the ringer - extreme cold and heat, lots of sand, water, hard impacts.... And it never failed me. Now I'm a civilian and I wear a solar powered pro treck (pag-240). If you want jewellery get another brand. If you want a quality tool that you can anyways rely upon - G-SHOCK!!
My dad passed down his G Shock to me about 8 to 10 years ago. Just a strap replacement and ONE battery change after, I'm still using it to this day. Unbelievable quality.
Even their cheapest watches are made quite well. I'm wearing a $20 gold color Casio quartz watch with a brown leather strap. It's very stylish and high quality. I also have a $150 G-Shock black resin, hybrid analog and digital watch from 2011 that I've abused over the years. I love it.
I love so much Casio, I mean since I was little I always had a Casio, this company is in my heart and I hope they'll never stop making great watches. I enjoy collecting them, I have other brands as well, but with a Casio is another thing, they're so reliable and well made, you can't beat them in terms of quality and price.
I have multiple "cheap" G shocks and got an MTG as well. My wife gifted me an MRG Kachi iro. The MTG and MRG are absolutely gorgerous and I have got many complements from strangers. Definitely look very upmarket. As for as the other g shocks, they have never failed and all of them run flawlessly even after a decade.
Only brand I purchase. Absolutely amazing timepieces. I’ve worked in the Off-Shore Industry and now as a First Responder. No other timepiece is as durable. Their new offerings are certainly cool and elegant too.
Gwg1000 is the best gshock for service but dont sleep on a rolex or marathon gsar. If the enemy hits you with a emp you're done if you're rolling with a gshock. Mechanicals dont budge.
I have the MTG B1000 -1A and I wear it to work daily..I set up and run a milling machine with 25 feet of travel in the X axis, there's a lot of work the watch accompanies me through and it is a pleasure to wear every day. Thank you Casio and Kikuo Ibe for bringing me my favorite watch.
GPW 1000 is the finest Japanese product I have ever owned. I used to be a big Sony fan, but their quality hit the wall in the early 2000s. Since then I have purchased Korean electronics and wrote off declining Japanese quality. My two most recent Japanese products have surprised me, Bluetooth headset and the Casio Gshock GPW 1000. Their design and build quality is exceptional, reasonable priced (for what you get) and are signs that Japanese consumer electronics are once again being taken seriously. Japanese goods in other niche areas have always retained their top shelf status (Bicycle Groupsets, Amateur radio, Hobbyist offerings and more) but its nice to see Japanese consumer electronics standards being brought back to where they should be. Great job Casio!
These are on the list of items desired, accuracy and toughness were needed in the past, pathfinders served well.(and continue to serve) . Casio is still the favorite here.
Brilliant watch with high durability. I've got a solar powered one. Looks awesome, all you need is wearing it during daytime every now and then, and VOILA, no battery needed!
My first watch was a casio cant remember the model but had a calculator on it n since then im a loyal customer .i own 9 casio watches as of today and 7 are g shocks

My Tough Solar G-6900 has been chugging along smoothly for 10 years now. It's never, ever given me any problems. Love that watch. I'm thinking of getting a GA-2100 this year though. The one in yellow caught my eye.
A lot of Swiss watch makers sell $10K+ Army watches. Once I had the privilege of sitting next to a real Marine in a plane and he was wearing a G-Shock.
From the G-Shock wiki trivia page: In 1981, while I was the Diving Officer for UDT-11, I was tasked with operating the diving locker budget. Stive Smith G shocks are not premium watches you idiot. Most are digital utilitarian ones which may be a bit more expensive than a random shit watch but the point of them is they don't break and they don't stop. A watch used in the military needs to work even after much punishment and that's what they do. I wore a Tissot for a few months in the army before the whole thing just stopped working and I switched to a Casio which still works today, scratched and ugly maybe but it does what it's supposed to do.
I still have the first g-shock ever made the DW-5000c I got it back in 1985 for my birthday and it still works like the day it was given to me, g-shock is the best watch out there.
Go grab a plane ticket and don't let the plane hit you on the ass on your way over there Trevor!! See how long it for you to figure out that is some fake shit.
I have 11 G Shocks. From Protrek, to The Protrek Smart watch to the Rangeman GPS SOLAR HYBRID. AMAZING. My favourite is the Quad Sensor. Well done. G Shock all the way
My Dads G shock is getting on now, I wish I could afford to get him a new G Shock Mudmaster tough solar. They look so awesome and would suit him because he works in the forestry and always comes home muddy as.
I own 6 Casio watches, 4 being G-Shock. The very first G-Shock shown in the video i still own one, it was given to me as a hand me down from my Uncle and that was in 1986. Only thing I've ever had to do was change the battery, that's it. The others i own vary in price from$100 to $600, plus the two non G-Shock watches are multifunction watches, with temperature, altimeter, barometer, and compass sensors. I use those when i go camping, they come in handy in case i were to lose my Silva compass or if my GPS fails. They may not be 100% spot on accurate but they do not claim to be, they have a give or take around +5/-5 so it will give you a very close reading regardless. I would not ever give up my Casios, they have been 100% reliable and faithful. I plan on buying more, perhaps even the high end line. Conversely i also own various other timepieces, ranging from my Grandfather's old wind up Elgin pocket watch to Movado, Seiko, Tag Heuer, Omega, and my old pink Swatch i got in the late 80's when they dayglo colours were all they rage lol. Dress (analogue) watch i actually wear the most is probably the Movado because of it's simplicity of the dial (no numerals), the fine leather strap, and subtle white gold. Goes well with a suit or jeans and a nice shirt. Least worn watch is of course my grandfather's Elgin, that baby is in a glass case because of sheer sentimental value, it still works too. I've had it serviced years ago and still wind it up and let it run, no problems whatsoever. I absolutely adore manual wind up, analogue timepieces, I plan on expanding my collection to possibly include a Patek, Hublot, Urwerk, MB&F, etc. So many wonderful possibilities, all dependent on the influx of cash LOL!
Need more of this type contents. How about visit Casio G-Shock factory outside of Japan and see how their lower end models were made as well. Not everyone could relate to these high end MRGs or MTGs. 💸

It’s cruel they make them stand eight hours a day to make these, it’s not like other standing jobs where your walking. They should give them proper watchmaking tables and seats to help with posture and back support
I have exactly same watch, which are shown at 5:09. Yes, they are big, but on my 18,5 cm wrist are comfortable and are lighter than they look. I have no problem with every day vearing. I have mechanical Breitling Colt and Omega MoonWatch too and I love precision and perfection of Swiss Watches and movements. I have Seiko 5, Vostok Amphibia and another brands (mechanical, quartz, digi etc.). And I can say, with G-Shock, Casio created they own kind of watch, which they gradually led to perfection. Yes, it's diferent kind of perfection than great Swiss brands, but I think, it's same level of perfection.
I've got a silver steel g-shock with solar. Bought it 4 years ago. Swim everyday with my watch. Still Rock solid. Strong. Never problems. I love my watch.
Love Casio watches, got all 3 versions of the original Casio Duro MDV-106 dive watch (black, blue and gold trim, with upgrades of Sapphire crystal and 2 metal bracelets, 1 BluShark Silicone) but for my G-Shock I went ultra stealth and I love it! Nice size, not too small, certainly not big though, no flashy text or dials, just a subtle negative digital display and EL backlight. Also, Casio Ecifice, the fantastic world time AE1200WHD-1A with some text removed and even a super cheap LRW-200H-1B with Silicone hydro mod making it effectively impermeable to water. However for G-Shock I chose the rectangular DW5600BB-1, minimalistic but still a G-Shock.
@Papito Rey Maybe you lemon G-shock bru🤷♂️ I have my MudMaster for years and the ionly ssue was the battery and that's it...Samething as buying a car, not all Toyota are same and for sure there's a LEMON car...
I had a the limited addition Eminem one when it first came out, think my aunt payed over 2000$ for it, sadly it got stolen and I didn’t even wear it yet, was to scared to mark it up lol. Always loved these watches!
I have one my kids got me for Christmas. Didn't know it cost so much. Would like to have it reworked. Works fine but wore it every day do building projects. Took a beating. Would love to have a new case and reuse my module. It has solar charging and atomic time keeping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have only two watches: Tag Heuer Carrera for drinking coffee and my good old G-Shock for every other occasion. That says everything. Love G-Shock. Great watches!
I’ve been wearing G-Shocks since 1984. I’ve went through a high-end Swiss auto phase, but came back to G-Shock exclusively. I’m wearing my GG-1000-1A3 Mudmaster right now. I love it!
@@wocky.luciano Either a MM or a Rangeman. Both are incredible, with the Rangeman being a quicker and simpler watch to operate. A Frogman comes in 3rd for nme, as I don't live near the ocean, nor dive.
Replica huh?? I don’t deserve a Rolex either?? Apparently someone thinks I deserved it and your tax dollars payed for it how ironic, when you live on a boat For over 10 years doing bad shit to bad ppl sometimes u get a token of appreciation, I’m sure u get em to,those video games get ruthless!!
Mula C back on shift with my replica Rolex, to make sure nobody harms you and your little computer game buddies, I got u bro it won’t happen on my watch !!!

I have a gst w300,i forgot it to the sun just to charge, and after one day when i touch it,it was very very hot,and i thought the watch have destroyed from extremely hot temperature...i just watered it a little,i saw a fog in the glass and i thought oh thats the end of the watch, but the watch after some seconds shows the dial and is working like new . IM IMPRESSED WELL DONE CASIO...speechless.
I sold all my G-shocks but realised my mistake and re-bought a gd350 and a gaw 100b. It was then I came across the MTG line and decided to take the plunge into the higher end and bought an MTG b3000. Paid £630 reduced from £900. They are beautifully made with great detail, finish and build quality but not sure if I would pay full price for one.
I absolutely love my G-Shocks. I have the GG1000-1A3 MASTER OF G MUDMASTER that I bought when I was a bounty hunter & the GA100-1A1 which I wore as a cop. Tough as nails. I wear the GG1000 all the time now that I'm retired. Almost bought an Apple watch last year, but I just cannot see myself without my G-Shock on my wrist.

I have a 6 year Casio dual sensor for less $60 and Tough Solar for
$40 that have been performing well.
my 30$ mrw200 was abused for 2 years fell down to the floor dozens of times i just changed strap and battery it still works like a dream

As a westerner G Shock has been ingrained to us as kids OG watch👌
G-shock is like Toyota Land Cruiser it last 4ever.
They have a good wraps. I’ll find out, just ordered a GWG1000 A1 from shop in Japan $650 us about 900$ oz
Mina is awesome, she helped me a lot
@Papito Rey Battery dies in 2yrs not the Gshock watch itself
@Papito Rey Maybe you lemon G-shock bru🤷♂️ I have my MudMaster for years and the ionly ssue was the battery and that's it...Samething as buying a car, not all Toyota are same and for sure there's a LEMON car...
Nope. I got one.the rubber melted.. by itself
G--shock is my daily driver but for special ocassion i'd wear one of my Grand Seiko
Good choice.
I would never touch a G-shock if I had a Grand Seiko.
@@prasad530 why?
@@stephenrochester6309 To each their own, but I think G-shocks are ugly AF. Way to big and bulky.
@@prasad530
What do you wear to the gym, then?
I have a ga100 urban camo g- shock which was made in Japan
Last year I bought GST-B200 as my first G-Shock watch and I love it. The second one is GW-B5600BC.
I had a the limited addition Eminem one when it first came out, think my aunt payed over 2000$ for it, sadly it got stolen and I didn’t even wear it yet, was to scared to mark it up lol.
Always loved these watches!
I am from india I am a big fan of G shock watch "I love my G shock watch" Thank you Japan for this incredible product🙏
I love Casio watches as much as my Mechanical Ones, some of them maybe even more..
I have one my kids got me for Christmas. Didn't know it cost so much. Would like to have it reworked. Works fine but wore it every day do building projects. Took a beating. Would love to have a new case and reuse my module. It has solar charging and atomic time keeping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1:12 "we first visited ya mother"
We visited ya mother at her peach factory
I have only two watches: Tag Heuer Carrera for drinking coffee and my good old G-Shock for every other occasion. That says everything. Love G-Shock. Great watches!
It baffles me that Casio and G shock and many other fantastic Japanese companies don’t do more to promote their products abroad. Interesting video
Good point
G shocks sell themselves
I’ve been wearing G-Shocks since 1984. I’ve went through a high-end Swiss auto phase, but came back to G-Shock exclusively. I’m wearing my GG-1000-1A3 Mudmaster right now. I love it!
The mudmaster is probably the best watch to have if an apocalypse was to happen
@@wocky.luciano Either a MM or a Rangeman. Both are incredible, with the Rangeman being a quicker and simpler watch to operate. A Frogman comes in 3rd for nme, as I don't live near the ocean, nor dive.
While I'm watching this, I'm staring at my G-shock, considering adding a New Battery so it works.
My first watch was a G-shock, GDF-100-1B bought in 2007 and is still running strong! Although im more of a Seiko guy now i still love my G-shock.
All Casio watches regardless of price are very high quality. That's why I buy them.
I still wear 2009 gshock so 11 years just replaced the cut strap. looking for new one now....
I still have legendary Casio F91W
Casio is so great, so respected.
Love them, they last forever and are affordable
I have a G Shock and like it a lot. But I’m absolutely in love with my Seiko automatic watches.
Terry Newton I hope G-chock made automatic version !
I would've liked to see how the cheaper g shocks were made
made in china
Thailand actual
@@JonJonChannel How is that relevant?
@@alexserrano2850 because the standard of quality of parts is much lower in china!.
@@SDeww How?
Bought one here in London 8 years ago, still going strong...will definitely get a new one soon
"NEVER GIVE UP"...The Father of Gshock - K.Ibe
Do a supreme collaboration and boom!! Sales will sky rocket for years to come.
G-shock has outlasted my Rolex mariner and my luminox , BEST WATCH EVER!!!
75th Teaster replica Rolex dont count
Mula C he doesn’t deserve a Rolex.
Mula C back on shift with my replica Rolex, to make sure nobody harms you and your little computer game buddies, I got u bro it won’t happen on my watch !!!
hondacbx1975 I’m pretty bored on this little boat in middle of nowhere, but I don’t see you on here with me?? Why not?? Since I don’t deserve shit from protecting ur stupid ass just curious to what ur doing to deserve everything u got?? I’m sure I’ll see you on my next rotation right?
I have a gst w300,i forgot it to the sun just to charge, and after one day when i touch it,it was very very hot,and i thought the watch have destroyed from extremely hot temperature...i just watered it a little,i saw a fog in the glass and i thought oh thats the end of the watch, but the watch after some seconds shows the dial and is working like new . IM IMPRESSED WELL DONE CASIO...speechless.
Best watches ever made! Number one!!!
G shock are quality affordable watches I’ve had one for ten years now still going
I love mine. Never have to adjust the time or change the battery. Pretty sure this thing will outlive me!
Nice to have your factory
I'm a huge fan of the Edifice Line of Casio watches
I'm loving the G-Shock. I love the solid feel.
360p in 2018! Awesome
Love G Shock
Japanese professional experience with precision Casio manufacturer
Casio watches have been my wrist companion since middle school I just love em 👍🏻
Love my G Shock Mudmaster 🥃
All the respect to you workers for the honest and good hard work
4:23 in the centrifugal test beside the watch the camera also works perfectly without being so shockproof as the G shock
