How about e Singapore math? It's an online program using the Singapore math method. I'm currently working on a new video reviewing several different online math programs, so hopefully you will check it out!
Hi, thanks for this. In order to use as a full curriculum would I need to teach from the teachers "guide" teaching manual, or only if my kids need extra support? I am hoping to find a more child led program for the season we are in.
All kids are different, so I think it depends on how well they grasp the material. There are lesson videos in the program, so it might be enough for kids who catch on quickly.
Hey Amanda do you know of a program that teaches for special education that would be free and easy thanks we like Zearn for math were using Acellus but It’s a little much for our 11 year old long videos and such
Not specifically for special education although this is on my list to research. I agree acellus the videos are so long. Miacademy/Mia Prep and Study.com have shorter videos. Study.com uses "micro lessons" so each lesson takes about 10 minutes. For free I only know of Discovery K12 or Easy Peasy.
I didn't know that, that's definitely a bummer! But great idea, or I guess you could print out the extra problems or homework to check their knowledge away from the computer.
Is state standards common core? I feel like common core is just complicated math. They take a simple problem and make it hard. But that's just me. I know everyone learns different
Common core is actually just a set of standards - it isn't technically a teaching method. If you're looking for something that teaches math how you remember though (and doesn't align with common core standards), I would stay away from anything that is used in Public Schools (such as this program).
Thank you so much for this breakdown 💓 may you be always blessed ❤
Thank you! I hope you found it helpful!
Ty for the review. Would you happen to have any recommendations for non common core curriculum?

@@AmandaMelrose Thanks so much
You don’t have access to the assessments if having a free (non school) account. So would you recommend printing out the exit tickets for tests?

I searched it up on Google for example “Zearn assessment g1m1” and was able to find it that way! Hope that helps!
Sounds cool!
It's a nice free resource!
Do you have to have a paid account to get the assessments?
Everything I showed in this video is completely free.
Is this math full blown common core? or does it also teach the standard way of learning?
It's aligned with current state standards for math.
