Honestly we've found with my 9yo she does best with a mix of print curriculum and online programs. So for this past year we have settled on a different curriculum for each subject. However, between Miacademy and T4L, she definitely liked Miacademy better, and although it's such a close call, I still prefer T4L.
So far, anytime I have tried anything that isn't T4L, it isn't challenging enough, but after 3 years, a change could be good. There's not much information about Mia Academy though. So, I would love to know how it went (granted my kids are older 4th and 7th next year.)
My middle is 9, too! I am planning on testing mia and adding in other programs as needed for core subjects. There are just so many to look at. Your videos have been helpful in narrowing it down. Much appreciated!
So glad you are sharing this because I believe real school has gotten so political until really don't want my little granddaughter going to public school. Thanks for your help. Keep it coming. 💯
I found you from tiktok and am so glad! These reviews are wonderful! My oldest is starting kinder homeschool this year. Narrowing down seemingly endless choices has felt impossible. I’m heavily leaning toward Homeschool+ and supplementing some paper materials for curriculum.
Oh that's wonderful, thank you for taking the time to fine me here! This is definitely what I put my time into. Homeschool+ is a great program for the younger kids. If that's too much structure, ABC Mouse is also a good option to mix in with some print curriculum.
Thank you for all that you do on your channel, you have really been such a big help !
You're very welcome!
Thank you for this information!!!
You're very welcome!
What happened with Mia Academy? Did you go back to T4L? I was going to try them next year.

Does homeschool plus track progress?
Yes it does. I have a full video on my channel that goes into more detail.
