My kids are grown now, but we used Singapore math workbooks when they were in grades 1 -8. I loved the simplicity, graphics, and international measurement. I had to augment this math program with a workbook on English measurement at some point, but otherwise I loved it. It does a great job explaining things without tons of manipulatives that hurt your feet when you step on them!
Love this, thank you! After they have completed all levels of this program, what should they go to? Is there another online Singapore program that compliments this one?
Not that I know of. You could do dimensions math print curriculum which does have some video lessons online to go with it although I haven't had a chance to check them out yet. It uses the singapore math approach. That goes to 8th grade I believe.
@@AmandaMelrose thank you! I just signed up my 3rd and 1st graders for esingapore last night and both did the assessments for their actual grade levels. 3rd grader got 80% and 1st grader got 83%. Which I’m surprised and happy with since the only thing we have formally focused on the past 1.5 years is multiplication facts for both. I had them doing horizons before that but didn’t feel like it was what they should be doing. Then I just couldn’t find what I wanted. A couple months ago I’ve been hearing f more about Singapore math. I knew I wanted them to do that but I didn’t want to teach it. So I’ve been trying to find online programs for them. We are going to try this out and if we don’t understand anything I will get them into a tutoring class through Outschool to supplement. I have decided to just do the esingapore as their main curriculum and see how things go. So I was happy to come across your review since I haven’t been able to find any others for them.
My DD is starting 1st grade. She completed Math With Confidence kindergarten very easily. She requested to try an online program for math instead of textbook this year. So now I am torn between CTC and ESingapore. What I have noticed is Esingapore seems more "fun" where CTC seems more dry. 🤔 are there any major differences as far as curriculum?
This one is going to be modeled after the Singapore Math model that originated in Singapore. It might feel a little different than the math you're used to (lots of mental math strategies) and I'd say CTC Math is more like the math we're used to.
Thank you so much for replying! That helps so much. I think we are definitely going to give the ESingapore a try and see if it works for her. Thanks again!
Thank you for the suggestion! I do plan a full teaching textbooks review in the near future. For now I do have a short review in my recent video of 10 Online Math Programs. Maybe that will help?
For now we are finishing the print curriculum we have from Horizons because I really think she's not ready for the next level yet. But I am planning to have her supplement and she wants to do Prodigy Math because we've used that before and it's a fun game type thing. When we finish this level we might switch to eSingapore. Thanks for asking!
They may offer promos from time to time but unfortunately I do not have a promo code. I did not work with this company, but I do think it's an excellent math program.
Like some of the others, my question is whether the student can print the assignments and complete them without being on a computer. Even if that means they have to enter their answers into the computer manually after they finish.
For this program I don't believe so. However you can buy the print curriculums - there are several that this aligns with - and then use this for extra practice.

Hi , Would they need manipulative with this e-program? Appreciate you for the info
Not for the online program, no.
Please do Teaching textbooks vs esingapour ❤

@AmandaMelrose thsnk you:) your videos are super helpfull! Did you end up choosing esingapour?

I would like to use textbook along with it, do you think I can do that?
Yes absolutely! I think that's why they have you pick the program, because there seem to be several textbooks that can go along with it.
Could you do a video on online homeschools for special needs students that give a lot of support and modifications?
That's a great suggestion! I'll look into it!
How much longer do you think it will take? Thank you for your help!
Hello what I pay this online lesson, it shows that I should input promo code. But I don’t know about the promo code.

Can you do a review for Koobits math?
Thank you for the suggestion! It looks like it would be fun to review, I have added it to my list!

Does this have an app?
No it's just done on their website.
I see this Singapore math stuff in schools all the time
This should be the same just online
@AmandaMelrose perfect!
