DM 1457 Applied Acoustic Strum is close the just need people to email them about addition the articulation key switches. They have some articulations but they need more to make Strum on par with MODO bass

Wow. No samples?? This is a major comeback for IK in my opinion. The beginning for something new.
It sounds really great! My only problem is the incredible level of details and complexity. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and a nerd and this will have me working on one single song for decades! 😞
i love this the only issue i have is when you try slaps thumb and plucks for fonk music its not as powerful or believable can this be worked on?

@@ikmultimedia i have modo 2 got the whole thing i do love it but when it comes to real a fonk players and playing that one part needs more work not really sure how to explain it i have sent in a few tickets before modo 2 but it still needs that pop and aggression other than that i use it on ever other style of music

I wish I can use a electric bass instead of a keyboard. I can see myself changing tones; let’s say jazz bass to a stingray bass. Or a yamaha bass to a P bass or a Rickenbacker. But nice software.😌👍🏾

Yes, that feature request has been sent to the developers and is under consideration.
Very good instrument! I loved It. But I have checked for the freetless Bass but I didn't find even the visual!
Can I actually use it as a bass plug in with me playing the bass? I mean, not just to create the bass sound without playing myself.
Use it as you would with a software synth or piano.
Just make sure we can change tuning. Like drop A (5 string). It would be awesome to have an option of changing tuning of individual strings or something like that.

They have. For ver. 1.5. You just have to select a five string and activate the drop tune.
Anyone know how to do slide note? I'm using FL, everytime i set note with slide icon, it becomes mute, what should i do?
Can someone please tell me how to make slides on this VST? The link to the manual from IK does not work and there is nothing online to assist.

Hi, ikmultimedia, can you use "MODO Bass" in conjunction with an electric guitar? I've only ever seen it being played via a keyboard set up.
You would need a MIDI controller to use MODO BASS. If you have a guitar that sends MIDI you could control MODO BASS.

REAPER has a plugin called ReaTune, which can convert audio into midi. It's not perfect, you have to play VERY cleanly, and will likely need to go in and edit the midi, but it IS an option. I believe Autotune and Waves Tune both offer this functionality as well. However, Reatune can do it in real time.
What song plays at 5:30?
I understand how to change, in pick style, from alternate to upstroke or downstroke. But how can I return in alternate mode?
If you click-through to scroll the the different articulations, you will see the alternative option when available.
