"You can use any digital audio workstation you want .... it's going to work". Thats not exactly true.. It must be 64 bit DAW software. Otherwise you have to use something like JBridge to run it. I know because im running 32 bit DAW software.
+Brad Hofrichter Trilian is great, that has been my main one for years. This one sounds as good. I would recommend this over Trilian for someone who doesn't have a bass soft synth yet as I think it's easier to use. But if you have Trilian already no need to get this. ;)
hey David! can you do a step by step of how you record guitar using the axe fx? i just got one and when I record it through garageband, it sounds different when i go through garageband than it does coming out of my monitors using the axe fx. Love your channel! thanks
Wow - the sound modification seems to be amazing. One of my biggest problem with bass vsts finally solved (I am not familliar with Trilian yet). I love the Fender P and Rickenbacher Sound of the early 70s you hear on Serge Gainsbourgs records - but the sampled basses always use wrong strings etc. So, thanks for the review.
Great Bass plugin though I noticed it doesn't have a bass pull effect lick ample sound collection. I still rate Modo Bass ahead of all the base plugins I have encountered plus it's CPU friendly and doesnt take much space. Most incredible software bass I think though I am yet to experience Trilian Bass
Hello ! How are you ? I have a problem, bass mode is awesome, very good plug in, I think the best of all so far, but the problem I have is that I improve my backing tracks using guitar midis pro, bass, but there are some bass midis that are one octave lower, and the bass mode does not read them, just read the ones that are higher, and I can not find the bass mode to repruce them, these are all those notes that are, in the drum map in the position C0, and bass mode is normally in C1
Thanks for this review. One question, I didn't see any fret-less bass model and wonder if it's possible to have a fret-less bass sound on each of the available bass models. I have noticed on the interface that there is a 'fret' feature and wonder if setting that to 'zero' will give me a true fret-less bass sound. Thanks, Max T.
Bit of a high standard there, guy :D I mean yeah, no software can do what Michael Manring does, then again good luck finding a bass player that can do what he does :)

my copy keeps on playing up hanging notes etc I stopped using it ..
All I need now is a keyboard )))
How do you bring up that keyswitches map? Mine just shows a list
I have the same problem. Could you solve it?
Is it a giant difference in "anything" from Trilian ? Or just a different brand and interface ? Does one need to have both ?

@@Wallimann best response
I've always used Trilian for bass but being able to make your own bass tone is awesome!
Yep! That's what I've been using too! It's really good, but I love how much faster Modo is to use. :)
@@Wallimann Which one do you prefer now? Trillian or Modo?

C'est vraiment intéressant mais le prix... ça pique ! haha :)

did u find out?
@@boimesa8190 As far as I am aware the fret feature doesn't allow to have a fretless bass... Cheers, Max T.
Max Tofone very sad 😞
So... what is 'japan bass'? really I don't get that real bass name
Maybe Ibanez?
Yamaha
Kalupz no it’s Ibanez. Yamaha is studio bass
pretty cool, but if you're a Michael Manring fan there's no software in the world that does what he does.
Not yet. Doesn't mean it won't happen later. The thing is, isn't he just a solo bassist? I usually want to hear my bass with other instruments.
Bit of a high standard there, guy :D

Looks good. You need to try trading solos with it in a song. :)
