Always the best segment on the show
Peaceful sights and sounds of nature=perfection!
I didn't know that this park existed. Beautiful!
Acccording to Oakland CA history, the rainbow trout was originally first in Sausal Creek, about 3 blocks from me. They migrated up to Redwood Creek where there were 7 sawmills. This is in the
1800's. We still have a few, but nothing of importance any more. Glad to see they are doing well in Missouri.
Very nice video. Well shot. Beautiful location

Thank you for posting 2.25 minutes' worth. This was only 35 seconds during the broadcast version.
That's why we just watch it here on UA-cam, for the full nature segment
@@panthercat38 Always best to do it here. The nature segment is just a filler of available time for the broadcast and can vary from 20 seconds to a minute or so.
Yeah I timed 35.58. Thanks for posting this.
Beautiful and peaceful, hope everyone had a wonderful day:-):-):-)

I've been going to Roaring river state park my whole life. What a neat special place in the Ozark mountains of Missouri!
Oh to be a trout feeling the water flow by, sounds of the world muted with no concern for justice, safety, future or possibly making a mistake that fouls everything up.
This is a poem, I suspect. Finish it.
And finally, to be chomped by the waiting maw of a grizzly . . . oh life!!! What cruel jest hath thou played!?!?
Lew Stone you're thinking of salmon. No grizzlies in Missouri
We love visiting Roaring RIver State Park. Such a beautiful place to explore!
My favorite segment of the show. Very relaxing. I just got blamed for not bringing any money into the house. I got approved for social security disability. Of course it want bring much in. I can't make that much to bring in. My husband is going have his wages garnished in September do to a student loan.
A rainbow trout that lives in the ocean is called a steelhead.
Shhhh... stop with telling everyone. Just kidding. C'mon out and enjoy. My park is everyone's park.
Maybe our violent and crazed, internet angry, gun obsessed American society needs to go fishing until they get over it. No talking!
Speaking of obsessed. Be prepared to live your life out and nothing every stopping gun violence. It's just politics as usual from a Democrat President and Democrat Congress.
Everyone should just go fishing...not great for the fish.
@@patriciafitch2432 maybe catch and release could be mandatory
@@patriciafitch2432 Going fishing 🎣 isn't about "catching the Big one", it's about being one with Mother Nature in a way that cannot be described. It has to be experienced.
@@gwenniegirl50 especially for trout release them head to McDonald's for a filet of fish that way there still there for our kids an grandkids😃
All they need is to cooked in some butter and lemon juice.
Stockers.
Look like brood stock.
@@mkwy8782 For sure.

They taste Very clean. Pan fry with a little butter over an open fire is all that’s needed
Very good !

Long are the days when CBS aired the sounds and video in full length like this with Charles Kuralt. Now it is about 10 seconds in length. If it isn't fake news, it is not covered.
