Just subscribed. 53 years old, always active, gym for decades. Had a STEMI (LAD) end of last year. Pretty damn annoyed by it to be honest. I had no symptoms months, weeks, days, hours before it happened. The evening before i was at the gym as usual, absolutely no symptoms. Went to get a cup of coffee at work the following morning and bang i had a heart attack. Seems so unfair and illogical
Thank you for sharing your story. It shows how diverse the symptoms and how suddenly it can occur. I do hope your recovery is going smoothly. Thank you also for subscribing and supporting the channel.
@@TheHeartDoctorthank you, it's going OK, I've nothing but praise for the doctors and nurse who helped me. Have good days, a few bad days ,but time, medicines, and still staying active is key to recovery.
Wow! Such a comprehensive video under 10 minutes! That was brilliant as often podcasts can be too long to extract the same amount of information! I have been thinking to join swimming classes but now I shall execute my thoughts! Thanks for the nudge I needed. 🙏
Thank you doctor. I'm concern about my bp numbers. I was diagnosed of plaque on my arteries and have 125ldl cholesterol. I was placed on statins and plavix but after taking these meds my bp is crazy. 106/48/59. Sometimes 138/59/59
Hi doctor I been dealing with constant numbness in the left side of my chest it’s really uncomfortable and I feel it all the time and it does not go away it’s very scary got a ekg and it was good but still my chest hasn’t not been numb for a month now any suggestions
Hi doctor, my father underwent angioplasty 6 months ago, he is coughing since last 10-12 days.. Almost all the time... Why is this happening, any possible reasons? Please reply sir
Hello. It may be possible he was started on a medication type called ACE inhibitors which can cause a cough. I'd suggest to discuss further with your family doctor.
