When the cast for MI Fallout were doing press tours they were on the Graham Norton show in England. Tom talked about what happened breaking his ankle. Also showed the recording of the ankle break from various camera angles. The episode is here on youtube and easy enough to find. Here's the date of the episode Jul 25, 2018 and length 10:16. Finally another time Cruise was on Graham Norton he showed pictures of when he was on the top of the Burj Khalifa absolutely insane definitely worth checking out, cheers.

Did you know that the airplane jump was actually real? The stunt was actually the most difficult to shoot since they needed the cameraman to practice skydiving as well and aim to shoot at Cruise and Cavill.
Also, in the stunt where Cruise jumps off to another building, he actually broke his ankle. But the studio managed to cut the scene where it looked like he continued doing the sprint.

They had to invent a camera eyepiece so the skydiving cameraman could actually tell what the camera was shooting. In the past they just mount it to the helmet and tell the guy to "look at the divers." But they wanted more cinematic shots and so a new camera had to be created. Also the helmets had to be internally lit so we could see their faces etc.

Tom Cruise is already an insanely accomplished pilot, but when the helicopter pilots were unwilling to do the stunts for the helicopter chase scene, Tom went out as not only became licenced to fly helicopters but he also flew the necessary 2,000 hours to be qualified as a aerobatic helicopter pilot! He was working at the airport for 16 hours a day for literally months to accomplish the type-rating. He was also so impressed with how the flying scenes from this movie and American Made turned out, that he was convinced it was finally time to do Top Gun Maverick.

I love Alec Baldwin’s short lived role in this series. He had two heartwarming (some would say tender) moments in this one. 1) When he tells Ethan that he crossed over from the CIA to the IMF because of Hunt (and his greatest strength)… and 2) His smile when they told him he was a natural fooling John Lark.
Such a great actor with an awesome sense of humor.

This movie turned me into an MI fan. I love it so much; it's right up there with Rogue Nation as a favorite. Tom just ups his stunts with every single movie. My favorite story from behind the scenes of this movie was that Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson was watching them do the helicopter stunts from the ground and Tom didn't tell them he was supposed to fall off the rope onto the boulder below. So when they saw that happen they thought it was an accident and that he'd just died.

Tom's broken foot and even the take of him BREAKING his foot and limping off camera, making it into the film. I unabashedly love this series and its been so pleasant watching you two enjoy them as well! Here's to hoping we don't have to wait much longer to see another installment!

Tom Cruise learned a lot in the 80's, 90's in his films working with other previous directors and publisher, he has come up with nothing but quality and authenticity in the action genre, almost like the Jackie Chan level doing all the stunt himself and also injuring his body. Almost all of his movies currently are still holding up great.

This is 1 of my favorite action/suspense movies of all time. It has so many layers to it. I love how it felt like a throwback to the first movie, but then ramped up the action to another level. For me it felt like the action/stunts were like the rest of the Mission Impossible movies combined into 1 movie. There was just so much going on and I love how it was basically a continuation of 'Rogue Nation'. This movie was amazing to watch in theaters and I'm glad you're planning on seeing the next one there, too. It'll be worth the wait. Edge of Tomorrow Yes.
man of steel, if you enjoy it or not: is up to you. What is NOT up to anyone is the Facts. And the fact is man of steel is a shitty lie. Superman is NOT a neck snapping murderer. Superman is not a dark, brooding, hard edge, moody, frowning skulking character. cavill literally did the opposite. Superman is a bright, SMILING, optimistic, happy, positive character. So that cavill was NOT superman, it wasn't even a version of him: it was a corruption of Superman. Superman literally wears BRIGHT ASS colors, LITERALLY. The cavill crap wore the opposite cuz he IS the opposite. Superman has always had underwear his entire published existence so naturally calvill did not.
It was a corruption of Superman's ideals, period. Ask ONE person in the comic book industry, the famed writers, the rock star Artist's, the kick-ass editors and not a single one of them supports the movie. John Byrne, Alex Ross, Mark Waid, Grant Morrison, especially NEAL ADAMS; NO ONE IN THE COMIC BOOK INDUSTRY SUPPORTS CAVILLS LIE.
They literally condemned the movie, most of the entire Comic Book industry is offended by corrupting something for children.
Some one who does that is a shady fuker.
But yeah Edge of Tomorrow is awesome!

Between the Halo jump, him breaking his foot on the rooftop jump/chase scene and his willingness to take a crash course in helicopter flying just to make that end scene as visceral & raw as possible, just goes to show he will go above & beyond to give us the best experience.
