Yong Yea was my go-to guy for gaming news but man lately idk if it's the Asian in em but this man can talk so much and not say a damn thing for the sake of going over 10mins
@@fnggaming89 it’s why I quit watching him along with LegacyKilla. I used to like it, but then I realized they reiterated the same issues constantly, always rambling for like 10-30 minutes at a time, and basically have a negative spin in all of their videos. Their content format is similar to TheQuartering, which is a channel I do not like. I respect people for wanting to cover pertinent and controversial news, but their way of doing it feels like it just wants to invoke negativity.
An example of their reiteration is Fallout 76. I hate what the game represents, but holy sh** did they milk that teat until it was as dry as the Sahara. I like that AJ at least attempts to add entertainment value and raw reactions to his videos, as opposed to just inane rambling to pad the run time, and his news segments are often less than a minute at times.
@FNG GAMING Yeah, he does talk alot. I mainley read his thumbnails, sums up his 10 minute videos nicley.

Sadly PS3 Emulation still has a long way to go, so piracy would have to be done on the consoles themselves, and idk how difficult that is for the PS3. Vita shouldn't be too tough.

As a game developer from Poland, I want to share with you all small but important thing that is not talked that much. Usually, behind each project, there is an investor or even a few of them. Game studio roughly tells how much time it will take to create that game. Investment is bind by contract. If the game won't b made on time or production will go above the budget there are really huge financial penalties. From my experience, it is always hard to keep up on time. There are always some bugs and issues. So, with that said most of the time the reason for getting does unfinished games is rush. Just to make it on time.
I mean, it is understandable that developers rush games to avoid losing money. However, this is not the customers' problem. People come and pay full price (often more for the delux edition) expecting a certain level of product quality, or, at least, to be able to receive what they were told by the developers will be a part of the game. But when a company shifts the consequences of their mismanagement onto their consumers, they lose a lot of goodwill and get bad press, and rightfully so. Moreover, a big part of the whole CD Project debacle was deception and dishonesty on the part of the developer. The pre-release review process was heavily controlled, denying the customers the information about the actual state of the game on release, and the console situation was a complete disaster.
I mean, sure, if you need to rush your product to avoid trouble with your investors, all good, but go ahead and tell your customer base the real state of the release product that they will get, then see how many sales and pre-orders you will actually get. People understand that there are reasons behind rushing releases, but everyone is extremely pissed off by the lies and clear deception on the part of the developer. In a better world, customers could sue the company for pulling crap like this, unfortunately the chances of that happening in reality are small. It's only the gaming industry (in my knowledge at least) that gets away with pulling stunts like this without major consequences.
is this also the case with PlayWay? I was interested in that company in an investment kind of way. I know their business model is a bit disruptive and unusual but I couldn't find out how they are treating their developer teams yet
@@MECHanOkL Please do not get me wrong. I am not trying to say that what they did was the right thing. They should be open and honest but, again some contracts are bound by some disclosure that can not be said. And when you really do not know how good the game will sell you really do not want to risk breaking that contract. I am a programmer that while ago has been working on sadly another canceled game where the whole team has been fired because of issues I did mention above. Maybe at some time, I will make a video and share my experience because besides contracts there are issues from the top to the bottom.
This is not exclusive to poland. And, as far as i know CDPR lied to their own investors. Hence why those wanna sue CDPR now, and this is what it comes down to. The lying. To customers.
