Came to the comments for this, the Ember office conversion in the master is more important to me than the full size queen. Because then I’d option the dinette. I can get work done while camping. If one of the kids needs a place to decompress. That’s a good option.
I really would love to see the TV mounted lower with storage cabinets over it. Excellent sofa. Great large bunks with the fold up but the bunk area is better when they make it easy to use the bottom bunk area as a desk, just a little flip out piece in the back could make that happen for a wrap around desk! 50amp and solar prep and carpetless would be nice. Josh, You do an awesome job making the reviews and walk thoughs, you make RV shopping and learning alot of fun. I think just the single door on an RV is good for me. Accessing the RV during a road trip isn't important to me.
I always thought that the Springsteen song went Blinded, lost my sight, woke up, dropped a duce, I got aroma in the night!!! But I could be wrong.... anyhoo, I don't mind the carpet and I would appreciate a door in the bedroom. Overall a decent camper and I really like the big awning!!!
Also I appreciate the docking center / nautilus center. I feel this should be the standard on all non-entry level RVs. Whatever the cost is, yes please.
Bathroom and kitchen access is the best for road mode. Bunk house model needs a dinette table. Sky light by the ladder is weird. Best lay out I have seen.
I wish the Alliance Delta 251bh would offer this seating option and a flip up bunk bed! It would be the camper we buy in February. Looks like it might be this Imagine.
Hey Josh. It's been a while since I dropped a comment. Now you're not going to remember this, but back in 2019 I was hunting for an imagine 2150RB. And haylett didn't carry image back then. Glad to see you doing videos on them with bish. Concerning the question in the video. This is a matter near and dear to my heart. In my opinion, any camper period, but certainly any camper at this trim level, should come at least pre wired for an inverter. And preferably they should just be coming from the factory with at least a 1k inverter. And if not all, then sensible outlets should be connected to the inverter. Next to tvs, small refrigerators, headboards both sides, and next to dmsofa. These locations often could benefit from 12 to 120 volt power and tvs, small fridge units, laptops and phone chargers are not a huge draw. Especially with a let of two or four lithium batteries. They should all come with at least 1 200w solar panel and be pre-wired for one or two expansion panels. And they should all have a plug for a solar suitcase. Finally, they all should be lithium battery ready because at this trim level, once you discover how life changing lithium is, people never look back. I'm tired of hearing about price points. When you are paying 49 to 50k+ for an rv, these things are not extravagant features. How much could it possibly cost to include this stuff? Because taking on another 2k to have this come from the factory isn't going to prevent people from buying. 50 vs 52k. This is not changing people's minds. This all should be standard equipment. Rockwood Mini Lite 2511s does this very well. There are still a few tricks Rockwood is missing in my opinion. But all the good things are present. I'm pretty sure next year the 2150rb is going to be traded on a new Rockwood 2511s. Our image has been great. We have throughly enjoyed it. But the Rockwood is just a better rig.
Just looked at the 2800bh today. Its only 500lbs heavier and 3 feet longer, but has dinette also and second door. Some of best fit and finish I've ever seen on a camper....but your paying for it. love your videos, keep up the good work.
I love this design. No carpet is my vote. Road no main bedroom is just fine by me. Love the 3 seat theater seat. I absolutely love the on demand hot water tankless. Boost the solar... hook that outdoor fridge up to solar.... give me 2 weeks of boondocks solar accessibility. Can I bake a chicken/ birthday cake in that oven? I just love you nerd. You really do give the good bad and ugly. Sooo happy that a ford 150 with tow package can tow this big papa.
We have a 2018 2400bh. An exterior door.into the front bed would be awesome not just for road access but also to not disturb the kids who have an earlier bed time than mom and dad. The only downside is it would be right where the TV mounts.
Grand design trailers are superior build and quality. Really appreciate the coverage nerd, if we move to a bigger trailer from. Our E19FD, they are the brand will go to
We have a 2020 version of this exact trailer and you are absolutely correct. The U dinette is the worst to watch TV. We lived in it for7 month and we had to use pillows on the dinette seats just to be comfortable to watch TV. Grand Design installs the RV airflow system in all there trailers now. I installed one in that trailer and it made a 100% difference in the air flow to the bathroom. Wouldn't purchase any other brand. We purchased the Reflection 150 series fifth wheel where we currently live.
Grand Design are great but I would love to see an optional “boondocker’s package” 1500w inverter, 300w+ solar and fantastic fans. It’s not about going off road with the camper, it’s about being able to book any campsite regardless of services offered.
Hi Josh!! Love your videos! I love Grand Design. We just went to a show and they were definitely my favorite. They are just set up so nice. As for the door question...I like only one door. The door in the bedroom makes me nervous about people breaking in or something. Am I weird? Anyway, love Grand Design, love your videos.
This has always been at the very top of my personal list. Lots of great qualities! Rode mode is a downer. We went for something just a little lighter, smaller, and less expensive.
@@JoshtheRVNerd thanks! You should look for a 2023 to review. I think you'll be impressed with the updates that were made... they corrected literally everything I disliked about the 22 model. They added TPMS, and a central vac system. Tall ceilings, carpetless, shelf pockets behind wardrobe cabs, porcelain toilet, rear cargo door, roof ladder, bunk ladder, large front pass thru, 15k ac, 18ft awning, solar.......all under 27 ft! That's a pretty good helping of fluff if you ask me!
@@COMMANDER-ONE Grand Design only allows publishing the MSRP for the current model year. To find out what they or any other dealer are asking you would have to contact them for their sale price.
Get the dinette if you have kids!!! It is way more versatile. We full time in this exact model but a 2022 with 4 kids…We went this small because we made quite a few modifications and we boondock full time as well. It’s tight but with the mods we made it’s pretty rad! We can fit our rig almost anywhere!! Light and fast we say lol
This is a great camper! I would say they should do a carpetless slide. Also, no door in the bedroom. In a bedroom you really need airflow when you area sleeping at night. I would always prefer a window and no door. One more thing. I love the lounge sofa, but they should include a fold away table
Yes, solar/inverter with a minimum 2000 watt. Needs the bunkbed storage door. I have an E-pro 20BHS now and love it with the storage door. Thank you for making the point about it being at the top end of the Ranger's capability. We tow with one and will not go bigger than what we have for safety.
I just traded up from an E-Pro 20BHS to the smaller version of this camper. The Imagine XLS 23BHE. I miss the bunk room door most of all! It was so handy for accessing the storage under the bottom bunk. Man I miss that thing. Kind of miss the front windshield, inverter, removable ladder, roof storage rack and a couple other things….. but I definitely like what I have now better. Much better RV over the E-Pro.

First camper I was against a second door going into the bedroom or a bathroom. Now that I’m well seasoned it a feature I look for. I’m also a odd duck and look for walk through bathrooms because of their space saving design.
You mentioned being able to add a vent fan and power it from near by lights -- the only way (in my head) that makes sense is if the light is Ground side switched. If light is power side switch - fan will only operate with light on. Something to consider.
@Josh the RV Nerd at Bish's RV yeah, it's a great unit! Though I'm ready to upgrade to a larger couples coach like the Reflection 310mkts or a Momentum 320G Toy Hauler
Good review Josh. I wish they would make a model like this with no BH but good tall storage and a slightly larger bath to the rear with more counter space and windows in the kitchen area.
I was so torn with the potential for recliners vs. the U dinette in this (non-bunk) floorpan. I love to recline and watch TV in the evenings, even when camping, BUT I have a daughter who camps with me and who has autism. I wanted to have a proper place for her to sit and eat her meals, if we couldn't eat outside. So, being a good mom, the kid won out over my fat butt's need to sit and recline. I did end up buying the Jay Feather 22b model, with the U dinette. I have yet to TRULY camp, but have spent time in the camper. You're right, the dinette is not exactly 'comfy' but I do like sitting there, drinking my coffee and checking out the news, etc in the morning. Also, I broke the dinette down into bed mode, added a thick piece of foam and my goodness! It is HUGE! I took measurements and it is EXACTLY the size of a true Twin XL bed (that's HALF of a TRUE KING SIZED BED!) VERY roomy and very comfy. My evening could be spend checking out the TV, laying on the comfy dinette bed. If I ever decide I need bunks, this is definitely a nice camper to consider. That extra height is absolutely needed for anyone older than a small child to not feel claustrophobic in those bunks. Love watching your videos Josh. Just bought your keychain, to hold the camper keys! Thank you!
We just got a 2910BH last month, similar layout, but the bathroom is in the middle and we wanted more space for rainy pnw days 😂 We dont really use road mode but we would prefer some kitchen access like this and the bathroom over the bedroom access….. our model has two doors so we can get to the bed/bath from the bedroom door and maybe the fridge from the main door 😂 but we haven’t used it much yet…. We love everything about GD and Imagine and are so happy and love seeing other models in your videos!
I sure would like to see a slide out floor on that storage compartment where you could either slide it out from either side to get out stuff that’s in the middle
Love it. This and the jayco have the best front cap and honestly that's important to me. If it can deal with winter once in awhile its a perfect size. Prefer U dinette.
We camped in the mountains of WV last October and we were surprised with a couple inches of snowfall! Temps dropped into the 20's at night for several days, so I can definitely say it can handle winter! 😄
The 2600RB is what you’re looking for. Bath across the entire back wall, theater seats and dinette in a big slide. Doesn’t have an outdoor kitchen tho - otherwise a great trailer with the same massive storage.

What would you think about a Jeep Gladiator towing this? It's max tow is 7200
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you for the reply. I actually have an F150 but was looking to get a Gladiator, so much for that. My wife is actually looking at the 2800BH and the 2910BH now so I guess I'll be looking at a 3/4 ton now. Buh bye gladiator lol
Hey Josh.....can a 2015 Tundra w/ 5.7 4x4 and tow package tow it saftley...the 24bh or the 28bh. We like the sofa instead of dinette. We sleep separately due to my back so I will nix the top bunk. Thanks you for what you do.
In my humble opinion Uncle Josh if this was not a bunkhouse I would definitely want a 2nd door in the bedroom. My wife and I have talked about this and if we had to stop for the night enroute to our destination and could not put out the slide we would use the bunks for our beds. Granted we are looking for a couple's camper with that ability to bring the grand babies during breaks. I would also love to see it with a complete solar package including the inverter.
love the couch! dinettes are usually poorly executed by most manufactiurer - uncomfortable,. totally agree! I do like however GD's dinettes' w/movable table! wish the slide was carpetless and the bedroom was accessible in road modee. Great floor plan for a 1/2 ton towable, the 2800bh ibedroom is accessible w/additional door, however, most 1/2 tons cant or shouldnt tow it!
Thx again for a great video. Can you confirm the UVW? Maybe show the sticker on this one. The ones I’ve seen online sometimes shows the uvw considerable more on the 23. Up to 6300 lbs. which is a significant difference. Per the actual sticker. Thx
I would like a King or Queen option, that can be interchanged, maybe at certain points I would want one or the other. Can they make a bedroom door option that has extra security (more dead bolts, even a metal bar…). I know RV’s are not Legos but I think manufacturers can simply make small adjustments that provide owner with many options. Rather than make so many different designs of basically the same trailer.
I’d prefer a 2nd entry door in the bedroom of RV’s for entry when traveling and for safety as an emergency exit. It could be difficult for many people to try and exit out the window. Especially since many Americans aare on the plus side. Nice Video Josh.
I am in the bedroom isolated like that on road mode. I would prefer a second door like you said you could lock it you could do whatever maintain privacy. Also it gives you another way to escape in case something happens.
Went to the Hershey RV show this past fall to see the Grand Design display. Came away disappointed because the emergency bunk exit window on both half ton towable bunkhouses was right over the hot exhaust from the tankless waterheater and/or furnace. That seemed dangerous. I'm a safety first mom. However, this unit does not have that problem because of the campside only windows. I'll be putting this one on my list!
@@JoshtheRVNerd in your opinion is that a drawback to this model? I guess from watching your videos I developed the idea that I should avoid laminated floor and go with 5/8 deck floor.
@@D70racing I feel more peace of mind with a nonlaminated floor BUT.. I do know that a laminated floor can be built to last _for the reasonable life span of the RV_ That's something that's commonly forgotten when people look at RVs -- they're not houses made to last 100+ years. They're limited term options and have many things built with that limited span in mind
Great review! As 1 year old owner for 2400BH. I do feel it has pros and cons. Pros: 1. Great size bathroom and very comfortable. 2. Queen Size bed and bedroom offer much better privacy for parents. 3. Bunk bed ladder and bigger bunk is very comfortable. 4. Super big size gray water tank (90GAL front and back) Cons: 1. That super slide has Shintech Slide which cause it fail in quite many 2400BH. Really wish they have it Rack & Pinion Slide for that size. 2. TV location is a little bit high. 3. Wish they had Electric fire place under the TV 4. Wish they can combine two gray water tank (45 + 45) the back one with shower obviously filled up much quicker. I am towing with F150 Powerboost hybrid which produces 7.2KW with no sound very little gas so less power or battery capacity is total fine for me. I really like that feature on F150 Hybrid model. It is Boondocking heaven.
Your welcome! Always love your videos! One more thing I feel GD can improve is that the spot for electric connection is way behind Rv and so far away from rest of connection. Makes it really hard to park because usually all connection are close to each other.

Weird Al would be proud
I agree, if you're going to have bunks for little-uns, then the u dinette is the way to go
👍🏻
Also I appreciate the docking center / nautilus center. I feel this should be the standard on all non-entry level RVs. Whatever the cost is, yes please.
👍🏻
Another wonderful video, Sir Josh. A great review of the type of TT we like.
Thank you kindly!
Thanks Grand design, also up grade the solar & controler plus plum in a sink for the outside kitchen. And take care nerd and stay safe.
Thanks for the tips!
Bathroom and kitchen access is the best for road mode. Bunk house model needs a dinette table. Sky light by the ladder is weird. Best lay out I have seen.
Thanks for sharing
I wish the Alliance Delta 251bh would offer this seating option and a flip up bunk bed! It would be the camper we buy in February. Looks like it might be this Imagine.
That is one awesome looking front on the camper very sharp
They do have a great look for sure
100% agree on everything you said regarding solar and lithium
I think GD is aware they need to start stepping that up
Thanks Grand Design for helping the Nerd out.
I need all the help I can get lol
Just looked at the 2800bh today. Its only 500lbs heavier and 3 feet longer, but has dinette also and second door. Some of best fit and finish I've ever seen on a camper....but your paying for it. love your videos, keep up the good work.
Yep yep. That 2800 is a beast
Maybe some cupcakes?
Great video! Please do a GD 2800BH video 🙂
Still hunting that but I have it’s sister the new 2910 coming
We have a 2018 2400bh. An exterior door.into the front bed would be awesome not just for road access but also to not disturb the kids who have an earlier bed time than mom and dad. The only downside is it would be right where the TV mounts.
Ty Bryce
Thanks Imagine and Nerd.
You’re welcome
Grand design trailers are superior build and quality. Really appreciate the coverage nerd, if we move to a bigger trailer from. Our E19FD, they are the brand will go to
👍🏻 great choice
Thank you. Nice outfit
TY Gary
We have a 2020 version of this exact trailer and you are absolutely correct. The U dinette is the worst to watch TV. We lived in it for7 month and we had to use pillows on the dinette seats just to be comfortable to watch TV. Grand Design installs the RV airflow system in all there trailers now. I installed one in that trailer and it made a 100% difference in the air flow to the bathroom. Wouldn't purchase any other brand. We purchased the Reflection 150 series fifth wheel where we currently live.
Nice! Love input like this from real owners Ty
Thank you Grand Design! I’m really impressed with your product!
Thank you for watching!
Would like to see more solar and inverter setup. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Grand Design are great but I would love to see an optional “boondocker’s package” 1500w inverter, 300w+ solar and fantastic fans. It’s not about going off road with the camper, it’s about being able to book any campsite regardless of services offered.
Wow, I will be buying one in the near future. I believe it will due just fine for a 1/2 ton family with two vehicles.
Good choice!
Hi Josh!! Love your videos! I love Grand Design. We just went to a show and they were definitely my favorite. They are just set up so nice. As for the door question...I like only one door. The door in the bedroom makes me nervous about people breaking in or something. Am I weird? Anyway, love Grand Design, love your videos.
You're not weird. PLENTY of people share that feeling
WOW, this is super with tons of storage in that bedroom. Love it, but scrap the bunks for large pantry please.
Interesting..
Love this one! Need a sofa bed or 2 doors for bedroom access in travel mode.
That's a great idea!
Hiya Josh! Hoping you’ll feature the AIM 15BH at some point! It had a brief cameo in one of your vids and would love more details.
I have one coming!!
Expanded solar 👍 , two doors 👍 , I like two doors not only for access in road mode , but as a safety feature . Two exits are better than one .
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Josh. Thank you GD (pls do carpetless slide😉)
Thx John!
This has always been at the very top of my personal list. Lots of great qualities! Rode mode is a downer. We went for something just a little lighter, smaller, and less expensive.
What did you end up choosing?
@@JoshtheRVNerd 2023 Surveyor Legend 240bhle
@@marcusbuckslayer3280 ah! Good model! Smart features without "fluff stuff"
Good for you :)
Thank ya Nerd!
Thank you Grand Design!
Thank you too!
I just looked at the price on your website, and all it shows is MSRP. Did you quit advertising Bishs price.
@@COMMANDER-ONE Grand Design only allows publishing the MSRP for the current model year. To find out what they or any other dealer are asking you would have to contact them for their sale price.
@@oldengineer1519 thank you!
That's probably the way I'd go but... I could see us making a sofa + chairs work for game day or something
Great job Nerd!! My favorite brand is Grand Design!
Good choice!
This is a great camper! I would say they should do a carpetless slide. Also, no door in the bedroom. In a bedroom you really need airflow when you area sleeping at night. I would always prefer a window and no door.
One more thing. I love the lounge sofa, but they should include a fold away table
Ty Carol
U can always leave door open for air flow
Yes, solar/inverter with a minimum 2000 watt.
Needs the bunkbed storage door. I have an E-pro 20BHS now and love it with the storage door.
Thank you for making the point about it being at the top end of the Ranger's capability. We tow with one and will not go bigger than what we have for safety.
I hear they may be working on something like what you’re describing
I just traded up from an E-Pro 20BHS to the smaller version of this camper. The Imagine XLS 23BHE. I miss the bunk room door most of all! It was so handy for accessing the storage under the bottom bunk. Man I miss that thing. Kind of miss the front windshield, inverter, removable ladder, roof storage rack and a couple other things….. but I definitely like what I have now better. Much better RV over the E-Pro.
Second door for sure. Love the weight class. I can tow this. It’s going on the maybe list.
2nd doors on these

• Ember m.ua-cam.com/video/tgQYAlvL9d8/v-deo.html
First camper I was against a second door going into the bedroom or a bathroom. Now that I’m well seasoned it a feature I look for. I’m also a odd duck and look for walk through bathrooms because of their space saving design.
I’ve always felt it would be handy but I understand how it can conflict with some other things
You mentioned being able to add a vent fan and power it from near by lights -- the only way (in my head) that makes sense is if the light is Ground side switched. If light is power side switch - fan will only operate with light on. Something to consider.
I’ve seen it done both ways
Depends on how accessible stuff is
I own that model, but it a 2021.. I'm happy to see they replaced the schwintek with rack & pinion!
Has it treated you well overall?
@Josh the RV Nerd at Bish's RV yeah, it's a great unit! Though I'm ready to upgrade to a larger couples coach like the Reflection 310mkts or a Momentum 320G Toy Hauler
Back breaker death wafer. Lol😂you crack me up dude.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Good review Josh. I wish they would make a model like this with no BH but good tall storage and a slightly larger bath to the rear with more counter space and windows in the kitchen area.
I got you Heath :)

Thank you!
Ty so much for snagging some merch! Enjoy!
We just got a 2910BH last month, similar layout, but the bathroom is in the middle and we wanted more space for rainy pnw days 😂
We dont really use road mode but we would prefer some kitchen access like this and the bathroom over the bedroom access….. our model has two doors so we can get to the bed/bath from the bedroom door and maybe the fridge from the main door 😂 but we haven’t used it much yet…. We love everything about GD and Imagine and are so happy and love seeing other models in your videos!
I have a look at that 2910bh coming!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Exciting! Maybe we will still be able to learn something new about her 😊
I sure would like to see a slide out floor on that storage compartment where you could either slide it out from either side to get out stuff that’s in the middle
That would be cool!
Love it. This and the jayco have the best front cap and honestly that's important to me. If it can deal with winter once in awhile its a perfect size. Prefer U dinette.
Thx Lauren
We camped in the mountains of WV last October and we were surprised with a couple inches of snowfall! Temps dropped into the 20's at night for several days, so I can definitely say it can handle winter! 😄
Hi Josh! This is perfect, except we don’t need the bunks. Do they make this exact trailer but with the entire back as a washroom?
They do have a rear bath model without bunks
Not quite exactly this but the 22RBE. Video for that will be coming
Try something like this m.ua-cam.com/video/iOyPaEh6AQ0/v-deo.html
The 2600RB is what you’re looking for. Bath across the entire back wall, theater seats and dinette in a big slide. Doesn’t have an outdoor kitchen tho - otherwise a great trailer with the same massive storage.
RV Nerd Master, what are some other manufacturers that are using the same floor plan as the 2400bh? Trying to explore options to see if there are any more in the weight range of my truck. Thanks!

I'd go with the couch. That's why they invented TV trays :) Also thank you Nerd for this video. I was looking at the 23BHE and was watching your review on it when you mentioned this sexy camper with a better entertainment setup. Good choice! I think I'll be going with this one. What would you think about a Jeep Gladiator towing this? It's max tow is 7200
This is too much camper for a gladiator
This camper maxes out at 7800. That alone takes the Jeep out of the running
I feel better about pairing the 2400BH than the 2800BH with that vehicle
@@JoshtheRVNerd thanks Josh...so it can be ordered withe the couch instead of the dinette??
@@frankkernan751 I _believe_ it can. One of our grand design stores could verify. Sometimes options change and I dont get to see build sheets
Can you do the same with the Transcend Xplor line? Keep hoping to hear your thoughts on our RV the 245 RL.
Hoping to do just that!
You don’t get 2 door with 29 feet topically. The 2800BH has 2 doors, 3ft longer, couch & dinette.
Try the jay feather 22rb or 24bh. Similar layout with second door
Josh, the 2023 recliner couch, please can you tell me if it has the 5 yr warranty. very important for me to find out. I have this unit. Thank you
If the Couch has a 5yr warranty? Perhaps on the mechanism but not the entire couch including the skin with wear and tear
love the couch! dinettes are usually poorly executed by most manufactiurer - uncomfortable,. totally agree!
Yeah, I agree if I’m gonna see a dinette I really like floating tables. It makes them more functional I think.
Anyone else think it's really awkward that the bathroom skylight is right at the top of the ladder?
Exactly why not on the other side of the rig over the bunks instead 🤷♂️
It is awkward, but nothing more than an annoyance.
I guarantee that someone has already cracked the skylight by having to put their hands and/or knees on it to access the roof
@@EBKRV412 because that’s where the hot water heater is so if you out the ladder there you lose access. Yes it’s not ideal but it’s the best choice.
@@jetdriver understand that then move the hot water heater it's simple design 🤷♂️
Do you think the Jayco 24bh is built better? I noticed its heavier than the imagine but same size.
I think they're more similar than different. I give jayco the nod on the roof construction and GD the nod on general fit and finish
Hi, please can you give me some information on the 3 seat recliners in this model, Year manufactured, model number? Thank you 😊 I like it 👌
We purchased the 2022 model last year. ❤️
Good choice!!
Definitely prefer the dinette.
TY for sharing!
Thanks Grand Design! +1 for a 23LDE
In case you were curious I have a video on that beast right here: ua-cam.com/video/aj-VEKKC0Y4/v-deo.html
Thx again for a great video. Can you confirm the UVW? Maybe show the sticker on this one. The ones I’ve seen online sometimes shows the uvw considerable more on the 23. Up to 6300 lbs. which is a significant difference. Per the actual sticker. Thx
I snag specs from the mfg’s site. You’re spot on in that individual models can vary.
That’s another reason I advise people to shop rvs based on GVWR
You might prefer this one bob: ua-cam.com/video/_-tnUjjrtbQ/v-deo.html
Same general layout. 2nd door
I am in the bedroom isolated like that on road mode. I would prefer a second door like you said you could lock it you could do whatever maintain privacy. Also it gives you another way to escape in case something happens.
Try these
• Jayco m.ua-cam.com/video/_-tnUjjrtbQ/v-deo.html (2023 update footage coming soon) or
• Ember m.ua-cam.com/video/tgQYAlvL9d8/v-deo.html
I love a rear access door, sorry to see this one does not have it. What manufactures bunk houses do have rear access doors?
I don’t have a complete list of every one of them
Jayco is very consistent with it
Went to the Hershey RV show this past fall to see the Grand Design display.
Thanks for tuning in and sharing. Good eye on the heat exhausts btw
Hey Josh. Really like this model. What’s the floor construction on these?
Laminated with 24" centers
@@JoshtheRVNerd in your opinion is that a drawback to this model? I guess from watching your videos I developed the idea that I should avoid laminated floor and go with 5/8 deck floor.
@@D70racing I feel more peace of mind with a nonlaminated floor BUT.. I do know that a laminated floor can be built to last _for the reasonable life span of the RV_
That's something that's commonly forgotten when people look at RVs -- they're not houses made to last 100+ years. They're limited term options and have many things built with that limited span in mind
How much would it cost to get a cutting board to put in the kitchen sink.😊
Great review! As 1 year old owner for 2400BH. I do feel it has pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Great size bathroom and very comfortable.
2. Queen Size bed and bedroom offer much better privacy for parents.
3. Bunk bed ladder and bigger bunk is very comfortable.
4. Super big size gray water tank (90GAL front and back)
Cons:
1. That super slide has Shintech Slide which cause it fail in quite many 2400BH.
Really wish they have it Rack & Pinion Slide for that size.
2. TV location is a little bit high.
3. Wish they had Electric fire place under the TV
Man I LOVE Input from real owners like this!! Ty so much
Your welcome! Always love your videos! One more thing I feel GD can improve is that the spot for electric connection is way behind Rv and so far away from rest of connection. Makes it really hard to park because usually all connection are close to each other.
We’ve had 2 Grand Designs, and their fit and finish is class leading.
Ty for sharing
