That N14 Cummins was one of the best engines ever made. Very nice truck!
The N14 my favorite sounding Cummings hands down
That W900 with the N14 is a awesome ride. Anyone that doesn't want to drive your trucks is crazy. The N14 is the longest running engine ever made of all the brands. Plenty of them go 2 million without a inframe. Good video Justin. Peace out as you say from Chillicothe Ohio the home of KW manufacturing plant. See the new K Whoppers all the time. The worlds best.
So true my dad had a 2002 international 9400i 1,853,000 miles with an N14 red top he did an in frame and it wasn't needed at the time when he took it apart nothing was wrong on it he just did it to be safe. After that his driver flipped it cause he was hauling an empty container and the winds were strong and tipped him going 5mph. Then we bought it back from the insurance company only things that was messed up on the truck even after flipping it was the right side stack, the mirror on the right side and the cab air bags. After that the truck ended up going to 2.3 million miles with only changing injectors when needed and now about a month ago we sold it to some guys that drove it down to Nicaragua for them to use it down their.
what i loved about the n14 was how they held the speed going up the hills of the northeast.
I my self like yellow power houses, but the N14 I think was the best one they ever designed, it's easy to work on , yes it's got electronics on it but not even close to the newer ones. Nice gray flat top W900. I personally would rather run a older truck like your guys.
She definitely looks good for a millon miles, it's always good to have a driver that will take care of equipment and treat it as if it was his own. Can't believe its been over 3 years! We're getting old lol. Thanks Thanks for sharing safe travels buddy 👍
Love that glider. Would love to drive the older trucks personally. Pre-emmissions any day!
Can't believe someone ordered a 10spd in a w900 especially a glider. I won't hate on a n-14. I think when it comes to gliders it will depend on how they were driven. All the motors n-14 or e model to 6nz works well. If taken care of. I think you have chosen your fleet well id take a old truck over a new one any day of the week.
Right ….. they are reliable though !!
@flintcreektransport absolutely
I agree on driver , some guys are hard on them while other drivers just go and go with minimal issues .
The n14 celect plus was one of the best engines built. The isx on the other hand are questionable sometimes
Haggai Truck Center is out of Georgia. People talk highly of them on the Rawze ISX forum.
What’s up sir Justin, I agree with you 💯per cent about the older trucks and yes the gray goose is a beauty.
Very Good NICE TRUCK 👍👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
We've always been big n14 guys my dad's old rig made it to 1.4 million before she blew a hole in the block but that was because the driver overrved it going down the mountains. Most of ours have made it to 1.2 million before the overhauls they run good pull good and get good mpg, plus they are cheap to fix if they need to be fixed
That’s great
N-14's were a great engine. Cummins did that one right.I guess emissions did away with it. Great video Justin, thanks!
@@mikeglenn9800 things that last are done away with..... unfortunately
N-14's are tough
Great video Justin , very informative! 👍🏾👌🏾

Nice looking truck.
Justin is playing musical trucks😆. Slip seating
Definitely good looking kw9,even better with an n14.
Great looking KW and N14 is good engines but I like Detroit 12.7 cause cheaper to rebuild and last just as long as any other. Honestly you get and bad in all engines so it’s just what you prefer. Anyway great looking trucks and great video so from Alabama Roll Tide and God bless.
Oh no, not mean green! Love that truck. Keep on trucking Justin
that’s what i have in mine. best engine i’ve owned.
Beautiful truck thanks 👍
allways loved the n14. had good luck with them, even the low horse 365 models were absolutely dead reliable.just keep a spare injector or 2. you'll eventually need them at the WORSE time possible.
Sometimes you get the bear. Thanks for the videos. Take care.
You defiantly got a good one with that one, truck looks great and N14's are great from my experience owing many of them. Justin lets see how good your eyes are, If the VIN didn't have the "G" in it what part of the truck says its not a glider. If you have any 06-07's compare them to the gliders. (Hint "Christmas tree")
I do remember watching that video from Truck market. Very nice truck occasionally I will browse their site and they still do get gliders always asking a premium for them some of them look pretty nice
Nice looking truck
Another fine video.Thank you, my brother, joe from columbus, ohio
Appreciate you watching !!
I've never driven a truck with an N14, but plenty of big cams. I like em. Not a big fan of the ISX though
The n14's are decent engines when tuned right, when people start putting the hp to the engines, and too much fuel, the injectors, or injector cups don't seem to last, other than that they are solid, I personally have never driven a n14, but I have friends who own flat glass w900's with the n14, some of my friends love them, others have switched to 12.7's for fuel economy, and some have gone to Cats. In my years of driving 99% of my driving has been with Caterpillar, and I've had alot of success with them, first with a 5ek that I put 1.3 million miles on, and my current 7cz cat that has 984,000 on it, and I'm thinking about doing a Acert engine with 2ws, or 1lw ECM, in my opinion the acert is the most stout cat block, and internals that cat ever made for commercial trucks, but I want to be eld exempt which is where the older ecm comes in, and I don't mind the twin turbo of the Acert, it's only a problem if the radiator is too small, and if the turbos are gated, so I'm excited to build that engine for my truck
I love KW's. Only wish I could buy one. I loathe road salt. My truck gets salt on it then it goes to he wash ASAP. Undercarriage is mega washed.
Suzy
When that engine goes you might want to take a picture of it and frame it cuz you're probably never see another Cummins run like that.
Haha. Yea 🤣
That grey truck is a sharp truck for sure!
Love that KW. Sweet ride.
You are very lucky to be able to find and purchase those gliders. Also have the ability to have in house mechanics and do engine swaps. I am at the mercy of the dealership and have had major ongoing emissions issues that the dealer cannot figure out. I'm not to far away from having to surrender my truck and my buisness because of it. 2020 PACCAR MX13 550k miles
@@Realtrucker81 I hate to hear my friend, that sucks, hope something works in your favor, so you don’t have to loose either one!🙏🏾
I hope you can figure it out !!!
Good engine if it's maintained , oil changed regularly , but it's a tier 1 or 2? Cummins doesn't support the computer anymore, it's difficult to get good quality OEM injectors, I think it won't be long before they start discontinuing parts for them. but it's that way with all manufactures also, other than CAT because so much of their engines are still used in equipment
I’m not sure …. Tier 2 is celect ?

Would love to see a video on the truss crane semis
We were parked next to those kw boom trucks wen we went there
Cat's are the best
great video brother and amazing content video
Yep. Need to get new trucks again
as a mechanic of 36 years experience i have been telling you for years the n14 is better than a cat any day, every day, most of the stuff you buy now is rebuilt by tons of morons, n14s need rods mains and injectors. and keep on top of the oil leaks, when you cant get oil pressure with rods and mains it needs cam bearings, yes the cat overhead cam the bearings is much easier to do. if you get into hot rodding your cats all they need is a n14 turbo.
I don’t know ….. I think I’m still a cat fan !!! 😜
Justin, I live in Olive Branch, MS. Why didn't you mention you were coming here? Could have met ya 😊
It was a few years ago
@flintcreektransport Well, come back. They still have tons of trucks
Great video Justin! Do your over the roads guys go to NYC? Keep the videos coming!

Could have been Haggai Diesel in Griffin Ga.
Cool.

None finer than Cummins.
I'll take an older truck over a new one any day !
💪
When applying for a job can we call if yes who do talk to
Talk to Conrad or Jim
@flintcreektransport okay thank you I'll call tomorrow
An N14 is my favorite engine. I drove a few trucks that had the N14 Cummins years ago. Loved every one. But from what I've seen, leave them set at 435 horse, they'll last forever, 500 or 525, they just don't seem to last.
I've been around a 2k Pete with 1.4 mill mls was on a Dyno 4yrs ago it read 38% over 525hp and it regularly pull loads 10-20% over 80k, still running.
@@williebumgardner6154 i totally agree i drove a volvo quad axle gravel bucket with the n14 set to 565hp i know thats what it was because i was standing there when we had the ecm parameters tuned via laptop it had well over a million on it it had crazy torque
Just a driver here flapping his lips but you can take a Cummins x15 engine a throw them deep into landfill most annoying engine I’ve ever drove down the rd trying to make a living with
Worst motor for me is paccar
@ I’ve heard lots of bad things about paccar but the one I got drive for 3 yrs had a paccar it was great no problems at all run 100 times smoother
But all things aside who orders a x15 Cummins 605hp with 1850 torque
Definitely not the person driving 14 hrs a day 10 months of the year
43 years otr I retired 2 years ago my last 13 years was a family owned company with 30 trucks all paccar we would almost never have all 30 running at once
@@Hondabill ya expensive that’s for sure just to bad with all the technology we can’t purchase a reliable product
Ya dam well pay enough for it
Agreed
