I was curious to know, I’m hearing a clicking noise by the engine I have an 03 g35 sedan. Recently had the timing chain and tensioner replaced 2 months ago, do you know what else it could be ?

Hello, I have a 05 Infiniti g35x sedan. It’s got the updated interior, automatic. It doesn’t shift to drive without the shift lock being pressed down. I’m going to drive it like this however wanted to see if you might know what to check. It has no check engine light, but has the slip and vdc light on. Only 84k miles all stock
You likely need a new shifter assembly or the shift knob is broken
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE thanks. I will diagnose it this weekend. Do you think if it’s the shifter it is also what’s causing the slip/vdc light to be on. ?
is there a reason why you removed the cold air intake? Was it not working properly or causing some sort of damage to the engine?

@@coastcafeequipment I put about 10k into it. JDM Engine with 55k miles. Also had it wrapped.
I bought an immaculate 2006 manual coupe with 180,000km for $11,500 Aud ($7840usd) Owner thought it needed a new clutch but it just needed a new clutch slave cylinder.
