You can use the coolant temp sensor. Its right underneath the air intake tube. Losen the sensor while engine is cold. Losen sensor and wait till you get a small leak once you get a small leak on the sensor give it about 5 seconds to try to get as much air out. And then tighten it up and your good to go fill her up to the line

If you use a funnel with adapter kit, you don’t need to overfill it to compensate for the rest of the air purging out.

If its bubbling check your thermostat. Once its bleed properly you should not have that bubbling.
No Teflon tape on bleeder bolt?
Hell no. You want Teflon in your coolant? That bolt shouldn't leak. If it does you need a new thermostat
