      At this last stretch at 9:51, I can’t even spread my legs to a 45 degree angle. Any tips to increase my flexibility for that one? Thanks! This is my favorite video for a post run stretch!

    Today’s the first day of my journey to running a marathon. Currently I can’t run for 90 second intervals without passing out 🤣 😁 it’s a start and better than I was last year, so yay me!! Anywho, this stretch was EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you much Ash!

    This was a great stretching routine! I found a lot of guided stretch videos that are just music and they don’t explain how to do the stretch or why. I appreciate the fact that you explain it as you go. If you’ve ever watched me try to take a dance class you’ll understand why I can’t just copy what the person is doing if they don’t explain it well 😂

    This is the first video of yours that I’ve found but your entire vibe is so wholesome. From the way you explain about dynamic stretches to the way you ask about our run/day to the wholesome dad personality. And as someone who’s really flexible in some places and horribly stiff in others the variety of stretches in this video is absolutely perfect. Good luck on your running journeys everybody!

    I've been a runner for over 10 years but was never great at fitting in a serious post-run stretch. You blew my mind pointing out the mental health benefits! I've realized that I can get better at running not only with training but also being more conscientious about how running fits into my day.     You asked how my run was, so here it is! I started running last April and I was overweight. I could barely run a 5 km and that's pushing my heart rate to 200 bpm, almost passing out. Today I run my farthest (7.6 km) faster than my old 5 km pace, on a sub-ideal condition (just started my period, low blood pressure, and dehydrated) with moderate effort and I feel I could keep going! This stretch is lovely to close my small accomplishment today, thanks Ash!

    I enjoyed this. I had never paid attention to post run stretches even after 4 months of running consistently. But it was telling on me, so I decided to search post run stretch on UA-cam and found you.
    I just did a 5km run and this is cherry on top.

    I just came across your video post-run and was soooo happy to start in a pigeon pose!     Why are you good at explaining how to safely get in these deep stretches? I wasn't able to bend my back leg up...yet...but I was pretty deep. Seeing you do it with a band with narration might have helped. You are fantastic. I feel safe going into these poses as opposed to thinking I'll hurt myself.

    Fifth time watching and it's better every time! Just ran my first 10k and this pluf foam rolling alleviated a majority of the soreness in my quads!

    Ash I absolutely love your stretching videos. I have used your pre run stretching every time I’ve gone for a run this year. I’m now realising the benefits of post run stretching and this was my first time doing your post run stretching video after my first 30K run!! It was unreal I feel so so good now. I’m running my first marathon in 4 weeks and would not have been the same without you

    I was having really bad knee pain while running and decided to start incorporating some post run stretching. Now, I’ve been coming back to this video after almost every run, my knee no longer hurts, and my body in general feels better every time I do these stretches. Thank you!

    I’m coming here after my every run even tho I know all the stretches, just having you as a company feels nice. I even memorized nearly everything you say in the video 😂 I started running 5 months ago and I wouldnt believe I was gonna be able to run 4k today if they said so.     Thank you sir. I started training for a half marathon and encountered 2 injuries in a month. I’ve started using one of your pre and post-run stretch routines and it has (so far) helped so much, not just with injuries, but also with how I feel during runs. I feel more ready to take on the run than I did before. More prepared.

    I can’t thank you enough. These focused sequences have helped my recovery, flexibility and consistency of practice so much. It’s hard to find 30-90 minutes for a a full yoga practice and it feels great to move through your routine and come away feeling more flexible and centered. Thanks again.
