Ya i did this 4yrs ago but i still have psoriasis, currently been on carnivore for past 6 months and nothing is changing in terms of my skin.
Might be due to me not being able to get any sun because i work 3rd shift hours, but regardless that permeability should have sealed in and healed by now i would think. All i eat is steak, im practically on the Lion Diet, its nothing but beef and water.
Only problem im thinking is that im not eating grassfed beef, im eating what the store i go to has when is only conventional beef, considering conventional beef is fed grains, you think that could be part of the issue?
I mean aside the skin rash which rarely itches, it dont really bother me, but its there, mostly on my chest, little on my side, and a bit on my legs, its not as bad as it was years ago, but aside that i feel great, energy all day long, i sleep good, my mood is alot better, i feel great.
I did order grass fed beef from a farm a few states over from me, so we'll see if that makes and difference.

It could very well be what you say here. The cost of living is tough, and sometimes we try to get what is affordable at the time, over the ensuring of how it is raised. Much of the UK beef is grass fed, but a lot of meat in supermarkets, especially those which cost a little less. Typically come from other countries with different methods for feeding livestock. It could be that you are sensitive to the grains etc those are fed, and can still invoke similar conditions like you were eating the foods you try to avoid, 2nd hand through the food chain.
Of course, if you are not in the UK, then it is always worth checking where the meat is coming from, and what they are raised on. You might see the issue subside if you consume grass fed only meats.
Glad everything else is on the up! You certainly get a lot of benefits, especially sleep quality when not consuming allergens and other nasty things! - Ryan, Keto-Pro Shop Team

@@Richard-Smith-Nutrition Hi Richard, ya i think that might be part of the issue, aside the lack of sun,
but i do take a vit D supplement too, i have been discovering that the whites of eggs when i had them,
were adding to the issue. Also whenever i have butter i see spots show up, this is rather annoying
im almost at the level like Mikala Peterson where she was allergic to everything and can only
      eat a lion diet.
About all i eat and have been eating is a lion diet, im 432 days on it, nothing but beef and water, and
rarely if ever salt now. Been noticing changes in mood, energy, physical strength, sleep, focus,
cognition. Even my teeth feel like concrete fangs in my mouth, its such a weird but amazing feeling
and i only brush with water twice a day, my gums dont recede like they did prior to carnivore
      they actually tightened up!
idk how the average person does it eating carbs or the standard American or Uk diet, just
eat whatever garbage, fast food, soda ect,. they want and not suffer from something, always hungry
always craving, its like a drug.
On carnivore i have no cravings for anything, i can literally eat the same
stuff every day and it dont phase me, the carby's are really just people addicted to sugar
its a drug, it does the same thing to the liver as does alcohol, it also lights up the same areas
of the brain as does hard drugs, what a coincidence and funny this stuff is legal!
Btw i buy your electrolytes! Best i've used so far and i feel great on them!

Well, its not that simple. Once the immune system has decided that certain proteins are to be attacked, how do you reverse that? The gut may be healed but the immune system is not. It continues to mis-identify. This is my personal experience. Immune system disorders are very complex and not easily healed.

Hey there! Ryan here, part of the Keto-Pro Team.
I may be able to shed a little light on this from personal experience with this. A little background on the issues...
To keep a long story as short as possible. I had gastrointestinal issues from a young age, including bleeding bowels and the like. Bar using the bathroom way more frequent than the normal person growing up, I didn't have too many issues (bar I had the shape in the torso area of what can only be described like a frog).
Growing up, my parents were rather strict on food intake. No fast food stuff, no processed foods, just real whole foods. Generally, no issues other than previously mentioned.
Que my teens, having more freedom I was no longer under strict control of diet and it really showed. I was living a busier life than when I was a child, so even though I would have whole foods, for ease I would consume easy to grab and go or quick to make foods. *Think sandwiches, the odd pizza, wrap, pastas and so on.
Spent a large amount of my teenage years constantly with stomach pains, intestinal pains, chronic urticaria (essentially known as a hives breakout - too much histamine production to fight inflammation). Regular bleeds with seemingly no cause through my digestive track, living near the closest bathroom, breathing problems, weight problems despite exercising and eating, in comparison to many, a much healthier lifestyle. This carried on into early 20s, at which point id been prescribed antihistamines daily, and a million trips back and forth to hospital, and a good few trips to A&E with chronic stomach pain and to add to the list, kidney stones also.
By my mid to later part of my 20s, I had had, every test under the sun, from intolerance and allergy tests to endoscopy and colonoscopies and biopsies done. I could not have been tested for anything more and had started to give up all hope
Then. I started following a Keto diet when I met Rich (only by chance, as a parent had decided to go and have a consultation with Rich for health purposes) and I sat absorbing the information he shared (much of which is summarised quickly in this slide). The scientific explanations made sense, but I will admit, I was super skeptical at first, but gave Keto a go eventually transitioning to carnivore. Within a matter of weeks my issues got less and less and a fair few months to a year later, disappeared, every single one. It honestly baffled me and was life changing.
Since then, I have been able to come off on occasion and eat things like a dominoes pizza and foods high in lectins, and suffer no issue like I did before (The last time I had a dominoes before this point, I was hospitalised for 9 days). I understand I am still sensitive to lectins in foods and inflammation, and if I come off a keto/carnivore diet longer than an occasion, the issues start to slowly creep back in, almost like building up a toxicity level, occasion is fine, but the longer it goes consuming foods high in lectins, the more the symptoms appear in both severity and frequency.
But to sum up my own personal experience, in short form:
      - Historic inflammatory and immune system issues which at more than a few occasions led to hospital
      - Cut out all lectin containing foods
      - Body slowly started to heal and build defence over weeks and months (strict elimination of all lectin containing food)
      - at the 1.5 to 2 year mark, was able to eat foods high in lectins and have no noticeable issues (provided exposure to lectins is not prolonged).
I hope this helps a little. - Ryan, Keto-Pro Team
