    I totally understand people process trauma differently but this 911 call is EGREGIOUS. for him to march his child in there knowing he just solicited the murder of her mother, for her to witness the aftermath, and then has zero reaction to this insane scene.       yess his complete lack of emotion and just being very calm in this horrific moment is a clear sign of involvement. i cannot imagine being able to even speak or collect my thoughts after seeing anyone, especially my loved one, like that

      Ok, I agree that the criminal is gross, but I would probably say the body and not be crying or anything on a 911 call like that. I would instantly dissociate and go into almost a professional mode. My friend who is a volunteer firefighter made such a flat 911 call about his deceased gf (she overdosed while he was asleep, and it was definitely real she was a known dug abuser and OD'd on her drug of choice after a period of abstinence which is a typical scenario to OD) that they actually thought there was already another first responder at the scene in a professional capacity.

    It's heartbreaking to know that these twisted individuals NEVER stop to think about the children, who will ultimately forever lose BOTH parents!! I will be praying for that baby girl. What a strong courageous family! I'm so glad that her family has rallied around her daughter. I will be praying for the evite family, as well as Big Will. That man has some incredible strength to come forward as he did. Thank God justice prevailed in this case!

      That kind of jumped at me too. He knew she was attacked and likely not alive anymore. After all he was the one who got someone else to do it! And he let her baby girl (his too!) just walk in on that scene and have it imprinted in her soul for the rest of her life. Brutal. This man disgusting

    I live in summerlin...in Las Vegas. Work at a casino. And have been going back and forth about staying with the alcoholic, who is an Angry irrational drunk. And I am just over it. I have been gone and staying at my parents for 3 weeks. Going back and forth between leaving or staying. And not only is he going psycho intoxicated again, but this popped up and reminded me just how unsafe staying in toxic relationships can be. . . God sure works in mysterious ways. Tonight it was through UA-cam listening to Kendall lol. But I have made my decision. I'm not going back. The last thing my two daughters deserve is to ever have to deal with anything her daughter has had to deal with

    I will never understand the people who not only take someone's life, but who then bring a child to the crime scene to "discover" the body. That's a whole other kind of evil, to actively force trauma on an innocent child. That sort of thing is lasting.

      My mother wasn't a good mother. She wasn't horrible, but she had some issues.
      She died suddenly when I was 17. I'm now almost 33 and I've been thinking of how much I want to call her lately as I'm going through a difficult time. I used to complain at 14 when she'd call me while I was at work and kept saying 1 more thing and I'd have to insist I need to go.
      My heart breaks for her daughter. The older she gets, the more she understands and matures, it will be harder. I hope she heals. George is a monster.

    Not to shame or be negative towards Shauna's family but I wouldn't put his name on the tombstone. He's a nightmare that doesn't deserve any form of recognition.

    When George called 911, he almost sounded like he was calling about a stranger. When he said he checked her pulse, he called her “the body”.

    How does someone who attends the military academy and serves in the army engineer corps building schools, etc. for needy people, someone who takes care of his mom, etc. turn into someone that wants to kill his wife in such a violent way? 😡

    I went to high school with George Tiaffay. I don’t remember him having any girlfriends & he had a quiet personality. It’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for!

      My husband was friends with him in high school. I remember that he didn't believe it at first when all of this happened. It was so unlike the George he knew.

    Just finished watching... That man needs extreme help and while he won't be seeing the light of day or freedom any time soon, I hope and pray that he does find new ways to live behind bars. Also, I've decided if something ever, ever should happen to me, I want you to cover those details. You do victims true justice by talking about them in a positive manner and I can't say enough how much I respect you for delivering victims' cases honorably. Thank you for what you do!

      He took Shauna's life out of sheer jealousy; because she was the better parent, she earnt more money and was a better person all around. He is beyond help, and the only thing he deserves is to live a guilt-ridden life filled with regret. I hope he has a horrible life in prison and finally admits to what he did at the very least. What a coward!

    It was at least satisfying to see the net close around George so quickly in this case. In a lot of these cases it seems like the people get away with it for several years and get to go on living their life

    The Pure fact he tried to APPEAL with "I wasn't in the correct mind, that's WHY I had her killed" PROVES that he did, in fact, do this. His Family needs to realize that. I understand Grief and the suddenness of it all, but it wasn't sudden for him. From those calls and texts, he Planned this for Quite some time before doin it. Period.

    I’m thinking detectives gave George’s family a heads up he was going to be arrested because George was a fireman. It’s possible they wanted to let him know as a curtesy. Those two groups are typically tight.

    She gave her husband unconditional love and a chance to repair their marriage. Yet he still played the victim and took her life instead. This infuriates me so much and to drag your baby to the crime scene is beyond sick. He's a coward and a demon. I really hope Shauna's daughter is doing well and she's surrounded by loving people. Rest In Peace Shauna Tiaffay.

    Have you heard about the Gavin Peterson story? It just happened but there is SOOO much information out already and he could have been saved. Please, please, please do a story on him. His story and memory need to be shared plus I think it would help people to recognize the signs that would have saved him. I'm a foster parent and saving children is my life. I really wish the many adults that saw something wasnt right would have helped him more by calling CPS. There were so many warning signs.

      I think its because he's a firefighter. And they are trained for first aid, so he's covering why he didn't bother trying to help her at the scene.

    The boxers/swimsuit part reminded me of Russell Williams. Canadian a
    Air Force colonel that would break into houses and take pictures of himself wearing women's underwear. He eventually escalated into assaulting & murdering two women. Terrifying stuff. His police interview is worth watching. Great CBC 5th Estate episode on the case.

    Something I thought was really interesting that Dr. John (that psychologist on UA-cam) said was that you can have more than one type of "infidelity" in a marriage, including financial infidelity. Meaning him being controlling of their finances the way he was is essentially being unfaithful to their marriage.
