I like this idea a lot! I would add some prep work and some other features:
1. Someone has to do the prep work of getting all materia, ultimate weapons, armor & accessories, all the chocobos, and the ultimate limit breaks.
2. Have a mini game that will reward the players with a hint or with an angry, back seat gaming message. Mini game could be real life (answer FF trivia) or in game (win a Chocobo race).
3. Have to beat one Weapon in the time limit to get a crystal. Beat both to get two. Fail to beat one and lose a crystal.
Probably missing some details but it could be good.
Awwww they should visit shinra mansion in neibelheim for a pretty cool hidden cutscene...important to the story too

Can't wait for the Midgar sequence in the next Remake game. I'd bet money on them giving you Cloud, Red XIII and Vincent to fight Hojo, whilst Barret, Tifa and Yuffie fight Scarlet and Heidegger. Vengeance all round.

Rob, If you go to the Northern Crater, you can come and go anytime except for the last bit which is pretty clearly stated once you reach that point.

Since you mentioned to Dave about hp being linked to clouds ultimate weapon can we also tell him the the more ap on the material on Barrett’s weapon the more powerful the attack

If you go back to Lucrecia's cave you can get Vincent's ultimate weapon and limit break

The fighting here was amazing, learned so much from Dave's combat strategies, never would have used Regen from the get-go

gents. you can save items by just healing with the characters magic in the menu... easy to replace MP with tents/rest spots (there's a one on the ship!)

People need to stop abusing the birthday song Rob gives. >.> People are abusing it. I want it to be so when my actual birthday happens in a livestream in September, that it will be authentic and genuine. Especially because my birthday is in fact on a Monday, if there is a Monday stream that day
But I do enjoy how Dave just despises the Gollum song and can't stand it. Puts a smile on my face every time

Aww, they did the crashed gelnika after the Midgar attack. If you do that, you miss out on another Turks fight. But if you're not stealing from them, it probably doesn't matter that much.
Your gonna laugh but it actually is my birthday today I went out to wagamama and missed the stream roll on 35!

Dave! If you do decide to try and get Omnislash, just know that if you leave the battle arena, all of your BP will reset to zero, so you gotta do it in one sitting. I know how much Rob hates backseat gaming but I don't think this counts...just wanted to save you some potential frustration.
This is a good point and on top of that, you will need about 5-10 runs to have enough points to buy Omnislash.
Fortunately, you can buy GP at the entrance from a guy that appears every now and then by entering and exiting until he appears.

Just a quick one. Dave you have comet equipped with the extra power too it but you never use it. I believe you have comet 2. Be cool if you chose to try it and at least see it.

Please Rob, have a look at the Wikipedia for Cait Sith when you get a chance. The connection and similarities to Cat Sith (a creature from Celtic mythology) is pretty interesting. The pronunciation is ridiculous though 😂

I STILL had 9999 HP 999 MP at these lvs and still won't FIGHT CARRY ARMOR UNLESS you Knights of the round IT TO death and I still used al 13 knights TO kill BOTH Emerald/Ruby weapon with it on DISC 2.

Yeah.... I just use cure and rest points if needed. Usually it is ATTACK, ATTCJ, ATTACK!
You should stop at cosmo canyon on disk 3. Talk to Bugenhagen and get Red's Ultimate Weapon.

Ya, let me give advice before I even finished watching the video. No way will I look like a clown by the end 🤡
Little tip when using Regen. If you open up the lid of the disk drive on your PS1 mid battle it stalls the game without crashing. If you cast Regen before you do this then your health keeps ticking up even though the game is effectively frozen. So if you restart the game on the PS1 version and replay the whole thing from the beginning up to this point that might help you in the final dungeon. You're welcome! 😎
Ya, let’s give advice for a 20+ year old console that no one uses anymore, on a digital game that they’re playing on the ps5. I’m sure you know you’re not the brightest one here, but no one cares about your “little tip”. No thank you 😎
Since ur already grinding on your own, u should get a hold chocobo. That way u can get the ultimate materia
