Hi Matty. Paul and Fabiola from Cadiz, Spain. Fantastic to have you back and a real pleasant surprise to see you making videos again. We are about to start our latest 3 month on the road adventure starting in the UK and then covering Holland, Germany, Poland and the Baltic countries. So looking forward to it as we have been static for nine months. Look after yourself and many thanks for posting again.
So good to see you. I think you have you got your You Tube schedule bang on...upload as and when you feel like it or have something you want to share. I get exhausted by the constant notifications detailing minute by minute life. I love when you pop up as know it will be interesting and refreshing something I want to sit back have a cuppa with and enjoy. I am glad that tooth finally getting sorted. Will see you as and when ❤
I'm glad you agree. Safe to say UA-cam doesn't like it, if you're not consistent there's a pretty heavy performance punishment - but I know my videos will find those who need them regardless of algorithms ☺ There's definitely too many empty videos out there because of people trying to meet the video a week quota unfortunately. Aww that's so very sweet, I love that my videos are worthy of your time and are appreciated as much as you say 🙏 thank you for your wonderful comment ☺
Great stuff dude! It’s nice to see someone having a similar approach and reasons of living in a van like us. Very like able, very humble very knowledgeable! Keep em coming and hope to see you up north once 👍🏼 Hobosonwheels
The long awaited video, and you don't disappoint Matty. I have the same van, had the same issue with second gear. Change the gearbox oil for Dextron three automatic transmission fluid. The thinner lubricant helps free up the gearbox as the oil says in the Renault gearbox are too small. Just make sure you don't over fill (2.8 litres) and change the oil every 5k or every year if you do low miles. Mine's as sweet as a nut after 6 years. If you're really worried you can also add an additional friction reducer like slick 50 or similar gearbox treatment. Try it before forking out for a new gearbox!!! All the best with the relanch of your channel and the website. Keep the content coming 👍
Thank you mate, very kind of you to say! Great advise, thank you. I did get new gear oil in recently but next time I will try the automatic oil as you've suggested! Second gear works fine, i just crunches if I change into it with any revs on and if the vans moving more than ~4mph. Something to do with the bearings apparently :( Will certainly try it before paying £1200+ for the box rebuild! Thanks mate, appreciate the support 😁
Brilliant one Matty, Fabulous to watch, so much helpful information for everyone. Look forward to more videos in the future. Keep Loving the Lifestyle Mate, nothing like it. Its the Best Ever 👌. Take Care 🙏❤
I've been waiting for this video!🤣 awh you had a baby?! Congratulations I'm so thrilled for you! So happy to see you posting again, this has definitely been a great one to start off with, I can't wait to see the skincare and recipe ones you have lined up!😁 x
Sorry for the massive delay! Hahaa, no I've not had a baby, just said that I could have had a baby in the nine months it took me to make this video 😂 Thank you! Glad it was interesting enough, can be hard talking to the camera for ages and keeping it captivating 😅
Right on Matty, missed you and glad you're thinking on being around more again in time. Happened across you're Liveration vid on here last year and watched everything you've done, and resonate with much in your apparent ways and vibes. Glad you're OK and looking forward to seeing your videos again in the future, if your flow goes that way mate, and be cool 👍
That's very kind of you to say 😁 Aww you have? That's amazing, so glad you resonate with the videos I've created, that means an awful lot 🙏 Look forward to creating more 😁🍄📹
Thank you so much mate, very kind of you 😄 Excited for you, I hope everything is lining up nicely and the transition goes smoothly. Always here if you have more questions 😊
It's good to be back 😀 Aw that's very kind of you to say, I'm glad you enjoy them! Ha, I think I should have been clearer, I could have made a baby in the nine months it took me to make this video, I did not make a baby though. New girlfriend, yes, but no babies haha!
I’ve been dreaming of vanlife but not really making ways to get into it. Now I find myself in a situation where I have to decide my next steps, and your very honest and informative video, clarified a good few things for me. I have a question though, how do you deal with humidity? I live in Ireland, and this was something that is putting me off for a while. So when I got to know you’re mostly based in Scotland, I felt hopeful.
I'm glad my video found you and you've got some answers from my ramble ☺ Humidity and damp is an but of a nightmare. The key is good insulation, air circulation and a dry heat source such as a diesel heater or log burner (gas burns went). Having a vent to draw the steam out as you cook is super important. A window you can open goes a long way too. Oh and a sheep's wool blanket on the bed in winter stops it feeling damp in the cold mornings. It's something you have to face living in a van but it is manageable!
Thanks mate ☺ I've only ever rented so never felt like I owned anything, but to have a stationary place to call home, yeah I miss it sometimes. Mainly the idea of having something to fall back on, a safe place if I brakedown or something. I guess I miss that but it's one of the few sacrifices for so many positives. There's a lot of time to be alone on the road and at times it can certainly feel lonely (if you haven't got a partner) but thanks to social media and the van community there's always someone to talk to ☺ Definitely happier now, so much more time and freedom, plus less stress 😁
Adrian Flux, they're really good for those converting a van as it doesn't need to be registered as a camper with the DVLA. I don't know the name of my burner, was produced by Bow Mill Stoves though, they have a Facebook page. Thank you! 😊
Hey Paul, not self employed, no. Not yet anyway. When covid kicked off I started working from home, that's when I moved into a van and asked my boss if I could just continue to work remotely ☺️
Just discovered you on utube 😊 thank you for posting you are truly inspirational 😊🙏🏼🙌 living free wow 🤩
Welcome aboard and thank you for the wonderful comment ☺️ 🙏

Just discovered you bro. Loved your content and raw sincerity...
Aw that's lovely of you to say, thank you ☺
Outdoor sofas are ripe with mold.

Do you miss owning a home and does it get lonely out on the road? Would you say you are happier now? 😊

So the important question is who you insured with , and what's the name of your log burner, cool video.
