Pros & Cons of the 2022 Toyota RAV4

I took one for a ride in Florida and one month ago and I really enjoyed it. I’m 5’11” and I fit perfectly fine in the backseat. Handles very well in turns and has some pep with the turbo
I just got a 22 SEL R line and I like it. Dropped it on 22s and I'm about to add a blow off valve so you'll really won't like mine lol. Really cool car to say the least
Excellent review: my UK diesel r-line edition 2023, easily does 45-50 mpg on A-roads; engine noise, initially very annoying, though you can find sweet spots - quiet - by utilising the torque, giving it less revs; switched from BMW, comfort over power, lot cheaper.
I like the Tiguan Kevin but unfortunately this car is in Germany nuts expensive. Thank you Kevin.
I think this is still one of the best looking SUV's out there, even better looking then some high end luxury SUV's. But I just wasn't sold on the power delivery. I wasn't looking to race it or anything but it's nice to have the available power every now and then. My wife already has a CX-5 so I ended up going with a MK8 GTI. Still practical and good on gas but has enough power when you want to use it. I hope VW will bring the Tiguan R to Canada eventually. If they ever do I will jump on that so fast.
Def a great looking vehicle!
When I worked at a local gas station recently, a man pulled up in one similar to the one you just reviewed (but maybe a 2021) & i kid you not I thought it was a Bimmer or MBZ at first!
It does look very nice for sure my friend!
I have the2022 tiguan and it’s the best suv ever very close to a Audi! Ps I got a lease !
Alex of Alex on Autos recently purchased a 2018 Durango, I think that would be a great choice too, got an itch for an American SUV after seeing that 2005 Tahoe yesterday...CHEERS!
I was looking at a TAOS it was the perfect size but when I sat inside it’s a real disappointment and at 35K it shouldn’t be so I bought a gray Tiguan SEL R line for $3K more the difference inside is night and day but yes engine should be quieter.😊
I think you made the right choice with the Tiguan really enjoyed driving this SUV
What? You don't have both the Speedo and Tach @ the same time? How did that happen?
I'm constantly watching Both just accelerating not to mention merging into traffic. Today was radar just past the on-ramp of I39 !
When you're in reverse and backing up and then shift to drive the camera stays in reverse. Does anyone else have this problem? Other SUV that I have had when you shift into drive the front camera is then on the screen, unlike my 2022 SEL Tiguan R line. Any thoughts???
It is not a problem , it is designed to be like that.
Thanks for the video. Can you review the Lexus IS F sport 350 2022 when you get a chance ? Thank you
I was supposed to last year but apparently they shipped the press car out to some other region and I never got the chance
I have the Se 4 motion and so far I love it but I was told that I could program the display to say Good morning, now is that only for the higher model?
All hail algorhythm 🙌🏻 😂
Weird question to ask but what shoes are those in the video? They look cozy asf
Some kind of Nike Flyknit running shoe. Adidas Asweego is very comfortable and much cheaper but idk if it got discontinued it’s hard to find
That’s the lowest power output in the range they got 162tsi kw and the 235 kw the r I don’t know why in America is the striped Tiguan
My family has the tiguan se 2022 and has the best value in it's segment !I don't really like the seating position and visibility. Windshield is too short and ceiling not high enough. Coming from a Forester. yes the engine 2.0 is loud but it is very quiet inside !!
Yea it’s a good SUV I’m very impressed with the space and how minima the wind noise is
what about reliability and cost of repairs
0 if you lease and dump
Any chance of reviewing the mdx ?
I hope I can review one
Hey Kevin, just spotted a beautiful black 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71 with 218k miles asking $5k, was wondering what your thoughts were & if you could review one sometime? Cheers!
I’m not goin to lie, they’re the best looking SUVs. But I don’t trust the company categorically and they’re too expensive
They’re def some lookers for sure
nearly fully loaded $ 64k in Germany 🤣🤣🤣
My gosh why? Aren’t VWs the most popular car in Europe. Why so much? Unless it’s just currency difference
@@MeynMotorGroup yep Kevin, same car same engine same interior, unfortunately car prices goes nuts in Germany and Europe, and for us it´s very funny that the Americans are crying that the cars are very expensive in the US and we i Europe can only dream about the prices you have there. currency are 1 $ is 1 €.
@@MeynMotorGroup cars just seem much more expensive in European countries. In my country Ireland, the top end Tiguan editions (fully loaded) are up on €60k+. When I hear you quote a price of $35k.. I’d can’t believe how cheap the price is. Very jealous.
@@redone2969 At least in Finland the major reason for the insane prices are taxes for fuel/diesel cars. Same goes for most "snowflaky" European countries. Electric cars has no taxes but still expensive of course.
👍👍💪💪
Appreciate you my friend!
