Very cool mini bike back in the day and still today. My fave was the Honda XL75 it never went as well as the yamaha 80 but it sounded way better.... Love the plug with me and Bolt nicely done man very cool.
Hey R.K. Thanks .Yes those XL75's were a very solid machine but its tough to beat a two stroker for fun and simplicity . Had to get you and bolt in for a quick cameo when I started talking about boomerangs . It just goes hand in hand ,when anyone thinks boomerang you immediatly think Austrailia . Also did you spot the killer thong cameo, ? he quickly make an appearance .And a while ago I mentioned in a comment that instead of having to go through the expense and agro of mailing me a killer thong t shirt , if you wanted to send me a PDF or JPEG file of the image ,I have a friend who runs a T shirt shop and could print one up here in no time . Let me know if that works for you guys .Just a thought . Cheers buddy
@@TRyanLearnBikes To be honest no I missed it despite watching this video but I did watch it again and yes I got a glimpse of ...Dar Thong . Hahaha I will have to see if Bolt did or not. Mind you it tells me that I am slipping in my observation ..hummm my Observer bias is off? Re- the T-shirt we are getting some made up here at first it was someone Bolt knew through his girlfriend but that's all gone to pot now or ( it's over ) so I have some one on it ....what size are you by the way ?????? ..as I am on the task now ..sorry for the delay. The Z 50 will be a fun project to do I reckon and looking forward to seeing more of it. Myself I am, well in between work, doing body work for a re-spray on my Merc and tomorrow it's paint day so she's ready to go. I'm making a go to end product video on this but probs as boring as hell but still I making it! this car has been in storage kicking around and then at a mates place and then back home all from back at 2014 so she's coped some damage but it's all sorted now. So paint and then cut a buff but I like to let the paint go off fully before a buff around 10ish days between the two. Then some more service items and new rubber and it will be back on the road.
@rolandkeith5322 Very cool project you have on the go .Sounds like she's been on the shelf for a while. It will definitely make an interesting video to see the progress and end results. Body and paint done properly takes heaps of time and energy and it sounds like you're dedicating both to this machine .I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out . Regarding the t shirt subject. No apologies necessary mate .I meant no stress about it .I was just thinking how expensive it is to mail things from Australia. And as I have a pal here who prints stuff all the time it's a pretty cheap and easy venture .Plus, I already have shirt blanks in stock from my summer hockey team.So honestly it's super easy to make it happen. Unless the copyright on the design is an issue ..I'd only print the one and make sure not to let the design get shared . I understand that 100% intelectual property is valuable stuff. So what ever suits you best let me know..cheers for now
@@TRyanLearnBikes All good we will sort it for you and sending things to people to Canada from here is not so bad at all as I send stuff often to Hamilton as I have friends there too. Intellectual property now that made a smile for dar thong, man never thought about it may be if we were getting thousands of views perhaps but not on our scale in any event the art work was professionally done so it could be sorted through them as official
@@rolandkeith5322 Ok no worries then .As far as sizing a standard large usually fits me ok 'so lets go with that . Interesting you have friends in Hamilton .Thats not far from me at all .I typically travel to Hamilton once a week or so to pick up supplies ,visit the local motorbike shops and ride bicycle around the Hamilton Bay .Its a very famous route .Home of the oldest running race loop in North America .It was first run in 1894 ,three years before the Boston Marathon Its a runners race not usually noted for bicyles but is a decent litttle jaunt cutting though some interesting areas so I add it in to my overall cycling route . There is actually a video called "Hammerride " on my other old channel that shows a little bit of the Hamilton loop untill I got a flat tire ,But you can get an idea of what Hamilton looks like . if you're ever bored and wanted to have a look . Thanks R.K we'll chat again ,Cheers buddy
Sheesh... a flood of memories just came back, most of the kids in my neighborhood lived in houses with black and white TV's with bunny ears, houses with carports, one speed bikes, some with banana seats and high handlebars, and inflatable blow-up pools. The most popular kid in the neighborhood lived in house with a garage, color TV with a 2 story high TV antenna, a 3-speed bike with the gear shift on the centre bar, an inground pool and a Honda 50 Mini Trail. Man that kid was popular. His Dad was an Air Canada pilot... his parents split up, they moved... and boy did we miss that mini bike, that pool, and Sat morning cartoons in color 😂🤣🤣. This will be a cool project to watch you do your magic 😁👍👍
Ha ha thats so funny Wayne. I think that same kid lived in our neighborhood too ...same bikes ,pool, garage, color TV,giant Ariel and a Honda mini bike .I bet there were kids like that in every neighborhood across the country..man we grew up in the best decades ever .The 60s and 70s were golden. Thanks for watching and commenting and your continued support. Cheers my friend 🍺
Man! I’ve had my Z50 for 23 years! And I built my son’s 1982 Z50 out of a bike not far from this condition. If anyone can bring it back, it’s you. I excited for this one!
Hey thanks man , I really appreciate your confidence in me .I'm a little nervous tackling this one for some reason so It's good to know you've had success with these machines, I may have to lean on you for some advice down the road on this one ..she's pretty rough . Thanks very much for your continued support man .I truly appreciate it .Cheers my friend 🍻
Ohh I heard a Challenge! Looks like Rollie and I will Need to do a Vid on how we catch our dinner Down Under! Also Love these Bikes too bad I can really ride one as its look like a Gorilla well you know involves a football!
Ha ha ..for sure man I know you guys are experts with boomerangs and routinely hunt with those wild weapons .I've tried tossing around one of those things and can't imagine how it's even possible.. And yes those tiny Z50 Hondas are certainly not meant for big tall lads like yourself.. the dog and football analogy fits perfectly 👌. Hope you didn't mind me putting you guys in for a cameo appearance. Me a my bike'n buddies think you characters are legends and really enjoy what you create. Cheers Nathan 🍻
