It feels like February is going to be the month of powercreep in SNAP. You have BS who has a premium stat line for a 3 cost but with a positive ability. Cull is a better Crossbones, Corvus is a better Electro/Hell Cow and Midnight is basically a better Stature. Obviously they're not all 1 for 1 comparisons but overall it still feels like the most powercreep 1 month has ever brought to SNAP

I saw 1 thing about the Apple Vision Pro… the massive price tag… and that’s all I needed to see to determine it’s not a product I’m remotely interested in 😂
VR stuff like this always get insane initial hype and then dies down -- I think it's a really cool gimmick that transforms the way you interact with media, but over time, it loses its luster and becomes more cumbersome than enriching. The price point prevents it from being a mass-used item, which means it makes less and less sense for developers to create products designed specifically for VR. Playstation VR2 is the most recent example, and I assume the Apple Vision Pro will end up befalling the same fate. The only wildcard here is that Apple fans are willing to spend a lot of money on "uesless" tech, just for the Apple name brand.
Ah, new to the Apple company, are we? :P Always overpriced, but always a first mover, just have to wait til other companies take the technology and reduce the cost of production.
Supergiant could be a super obnoxious offensive card with Alioth. The best way to play her is getting priority early with low cost high power card, Martyr, Lizard, Gladiator, then with priority wipe out their T5 and T6 with Alioth and hidden Absorbing man.
@@HeckYep It's not as easy as it sounds like. As Abs-man on T5 is a hit or miss to catch their T5 cards. And if it didn't hit, then Absman is wasted. While using T6 to catch their T5 would be a likely miss to catch their T6. Cozy suggestion of using Daredevil would be safer hit toward their T5. But using Daredevil might lose your priority going into T4.

I don't have Shaw so this is probably some copium but Black Swan does actually help Surfer because you can Swan on 5, then play Nova + Daken's Shard with Killmonger and Surfer. The shard has always been very awkward for Surfer to get down and this would help a lot.
Yup 100% agree. Yesterday I kept getting matched with Shenaught and High Evo decks running Leech and any doubts I had about getting Super Giant were immediately put to rest. So many decks rely on turn 5 for a turn 6 pop off so SG will be a great counter.
Here me out how about running Black Swan with Thanos in a Surfer list (you could even make it a Thanos/surfer/bounce list with Falcon and Beast, whos also a 3 cost). One of Black Swans biggest drawbacks is that you need to run a lot of 1 costs to get the most value from her and 6 extra infinity stones solves that. Maybe a play line would be Bishop on turn 3, followed by 4 1 drops on turn 4, then BS and Falcon on turn 5 (or if you dont draw BS play 3 1 drops in the same lane then Beast it turn 5) and finally turn 6 play Hit Monkey, Surfer and all the discounted 1 costs. You could even include Magick and maybe even Crystal (both 3 costs) for extra chances to draw into your combos. Idk if Sera makes the list just because she loses a lot of value the more 1 costs you're playing as they're not discounted Sorry just cooking.
I love when entire new archetypes are made, or useless cards enter the meta. And Corvus Glaive is bringing hallicarrier into the meta. (Once they buff it to 12 power). Discard 2 cards but get a bunch more and then have extra energy. Sounds so fun.

You guys missed Professor X + Black Swan combo. Black Swan plus a one cost on 4. Then dump a bunch of 1s free and lock down a lane with professor x on 5. Black Swan is a killer control piece. Goose etc.
I feel like an important thing to note about Corvus in specifically Hela is that he gives the deck counter-play against leech by allowing you to Hela a turn early.
Do you think Leech should only remove abilities from 4 5 & 6 cost cards (including deaths base cost), hits random cards in your hand, or someother change.
After hearing Alex propose Taskmaster with Supergiant, I can’t help but think that combo could fit into a High Evo Shenaut deck with limbo. Giant on 4, Taskmaster on 5, then float to turn 7 with Limbo or drop down a boosted hulk without it on turn 6. It’s an alternative turn 5 play to Leech, I feel like there’s potential with Supergiant for sure.
The extra energy in discard can help put down Dracula and Blade on 4. Pretty hot. Speaking of Blade, if you still have it in hand, the extra energy could help manage your hand to hit your prime target. I think it’s a bad take to just say I don’t need Modok on 4. It probably won’t matter every single game, but it’s options, but at the end of the day, it’s two discarded cards.
Early tempo into Supergiant into Alioth feels very similar to Hearthstone’s Aggro decks into Loatheb to shut out opponents counter plays. If that’s the direction Supergiant goes… that’s going to be very frustrating.
I took a few weeks off cause I wasn’t really feeling the skaar season, but I am very hype for this month, OG discard was my favorite archetype so I’m excited to try some new stuff
I think the reason they buffed Dracula is because then you can leave location with no power to let Proxima to jump to the location 0 zero power she wont jump to Dracula's location because he has 1 power
i wonder if black swans effect will effect one cost cards in your deck too, cause if so then on turn 4 you can play black swan then turn 5 jane foster drawing all your one cost cards, it probably doesn't work but would be cool if it did.
For me the cards in the game that want to be discarded are X-23, Wolverine, Muramasa Shard (to buff Daken), Swarm, Apocalypse, Helicarrier and Proxima Midnight. I wouldn’t necessary include Daken in a discard deck but this remains a card that wants to be discarded
Magik t3, Supergiant t5, Hela t6, Modok t7. The same is possible with Corvus on t3 +1 energy, Supergiant t4, Hela t5, Modok t6. It is a much less telegraphed version than Modok/Hela with IW.
Cull obsidian is my most anticipated card for sure, he can fit so many places. All the cards this month look so great, can’t believe people said March cards would be better

I think im most interested in Cull and Proxima. Cull as just a great value body that accelerates Skaar on that side. Proxima though I think would be really fun in some moongirl discard dump deck. You have proxima, wolverine, x-23(?), swarm, apocalypse, and then MODOK as the base. You can run a zabu package in there too maybe. Imagine Moongirling Proxima and Wolverine into a MODOK. That would be 30 power down for 5 energy on T5. Than you can dump Apoc and swarms for T6. Might be inconsistent, but would be really fun. With those cards that dont go into the dicard pile you could target something with black knight or ghost rider in a reverse angle from how you traditionally do from lady Sif or blade.
Mailbag: Any ideas for a better season pass plus other then buffing season caches as this prompts agitha farming. I was thinking rerolls for the daily quests or something like that. The season pass is amazing but the plus brings nothing to the table.
Sometimes it's tricky to play M.O.D.O.K turn 5. Maybe you didn't draw Dracula til 5 or something. (this is assuming no invisible woman). That plus one energy for turn 6 is great if you need to play Morbius + M.O.D.O.K. I have a discard/evo deck that would love the energy.
supergiant counters so many cards and strategies that I feel like it needs to be good. sera, leech, Jane, mystique on 6, wong combos, shuri play lines, modok, arnim Zola combos, it’s just too much. it’s gotta be good
I thought the Ghost change was fantastic. I didn't really play Ghost before but I absolutely love Valkyrie. The extra stats to Ghost felt really well in my Valkyrie deck this season and helped me win infinity conquest!
I predict a future change to Cull Obsidian 'Can only be at locations with 1 Cost cards' preventing anything other than 1 cost cards being in the same lane as him. Or he will just have his power cut.
Ghost spider is being played well in Sera tech. 3-5 is good stats and you don’t have throw initiative for explosive turn 6 Shang chi and enchantress plays. This deck was already the best or at least top 3 before ghost spider.
Cozy. My guy. You work Moon Girl into every card release discussion but I never see you dropping any double up decks. Can’t ever figure out a good one on my own and I’m dying to play one.
It’s the turn 6 play with bounce move with Iron Fist, Human Torch, Ghost Spider for free. And a Heimdall, Hercules/Doctor Strange. Idk if she’s a beast replacement but her and Falcon on turn 5 is gonna be nuts.
I’m going for Proxima and Supergiant and then going all in on Cannonball next month. I think people are sleeping on Proxima, she seems to be very reliable

Imagine the burst value of a Black Swan on 5, and then you play a million 1 drops and a 4/10 lol Maybe you get Zabu and Hit Monkey in there for a pretty nuts play The fact that you can stage a 1 cost on the same turn to count for Cull is truly absurd

I don't have social media and need to vent: I hit rank 99 THREE TIMES this week before dropping down and am currently at 97 but know I'm too tilted to play well right now. I want that card back real bad but I don't think I can see another Shang Chi without putting my thumbs through my screen. I wish it wasn't affecting me but this is genuinely ruining my week 😣 Edit: After going up to 99 and dropping down 2 more times since writing this I went with my old favorite Hela as a last-ditch effort to finally brute force my way through rank 99... And it worked! What a rush hooooly crap, feels good to have it behind me. Anyways, see y'all tomorrow for next season!
I’m agreeing with Alex on Corvus Glaive Discard is better with targeted synergy, Lady Sif and Collen are better than SM and Hell Cow on top of that the buff to Blade made him way better cuz he targets instead of being random and the change to Chavez…idk we’ll see though

Name even one card you play in a general discard list after you play Corvis… I genuinely can’t think of what you could ramp out that a discard list would like to ramp out and he doesn’t have a massive risk of hitting during his discard..
I thought Black Swan couldn't work in zoo-style cards but it just came to ly attention the moon girl might be a great addition to that deck. But moon girl with hit monkey might still be better than with zoo

I think they are making her a little stronger because she is the season pass card. I expect the card to be adjusted to a 3/4.

I don't have social media and need to vent: I hit rank 99 THREE TIMES this week before dropping down and am currently at 97 but know I'm too tilted to play well right now. I want that card back real bad but I don't think I can see another Shang Chi without putting my thumbs through my screen. I wish it wasn't affecting me but this is genuinely ruining my week 😣
Edit: After going up to 99 and dropping down 2 more times since writing this I went with my old favorite Hela as a last-ditch effort to finally brute force my way through rank 99... And it worked! What a rush hooooly crap, feels good to have it behind me. Anyways, see y'all tomorrow for next season!

I’m agreeing with Alex on Corvus Glaive Discard is better with targeted synergy, Lady Sif and Collen are better than SM and Hell Cow on top of that the buff to Blade made him way better cuz he targets instead of being random and the change to Chavez…idk we’ll see though

Name even one card you play in a general discard list after you play Corvis… I genuinely can’t think of what you could ramp out that a discard list would like to ramp out and he doesn’t have a massive risk of hitting during his discard..

I thought Black Swan couldn't work in zoo-style cards but it just came to ly attention the moon girl might be a great addition to that deck. But moon girl with hit monkey might still be better than with zoo
black swan into gaiera with any 1 cost cards in ur hand. ez power move. maybe werewolf by night, some time of bounce. yeh, this card is going to be a lot of fun to play with and on top of that. maybe squeeze in grand master.
