You are so lovely Beverly and so strong to have survived some many traumas, large and small! Your vulnerability is amazing and so helpful to me and others, another example of how strong you are! It was great to meet Red today!

This was beautiful. I wish there was something beyond 'like' as a response to a video! You're doing great, Beverly - keep at it!!!

I am scared to take risks too now that I live alone with my dog, as I have no one to help me if something bad happens. I have not been out and about since January 2020, and only go out of my home to walk my dog. The village is only a mile away, and I have never walked to it, as I am scared I may not be able to get back, and have no one to call on to come and get me if that happens. I am a people pleaser, and like Beverly, I do not want to upset anyone, so I end up upsetting myself! xxx

You know I bet there is a single Mum out there in your community beverly who would love a Nana for her kids, or a couple where one of them has dead parents...I am sure there are kids out there that would love you as their Nana even if you are not blood 💙💜 U r brave doing this . U r not alone.

I got kicked out of choir for the same reason around the same age. It was in the US, the teacher was from the UK.
I can relate to the difficulty of making that big decision at 64.
I am finding this so helpful. Thank you both!

Thank you both. I can relate to your process Bev. I am too having hard times with my inner critic and setting bounderies. Not even feeling bounderies, or feeling something and getting anxious about it, and questioning myself is this a boundarie or not...confusing, but each day we can practice😊 (the pendulum). Thanks for being so honest and vulnerable. I am sure this talk will resonate with and helps more people.

This is so cathartic for me. So much of it applies to my experience growing up.

Beverly really touches me. One thing I will say is, she seems to have been trapped in the comparison game. Not everything is at it seems and some families are so toxic, you are better off without.

Jealousy is great for figuring out what you want! She is so in touch with her jealousy, she probably knows deep down what she wants :) (I hope)

Like Beverly I feel, every time I felt good at doing something, I was rejected. So I stopped even trying. I lost all my confidence, but I want to get it back. xxx
