11:50 is very deserving of a youtube thumbnail 😂 ive always loved this cars... Bit seeing your details walk around has made me fall in even more love with them... Everything about this rig is so amazing... They didnt skip an inch of this vehicle when they finely detailed it... Inside and out is all so beautiful!!! Keep it up Bob!!!
I’ve had mine since 2007. Some suggestions for anyone in the market: 1. Change delete 2/4 decats under the steering rack…sounds better and opens up the exhaust. This car is too quiet..I have the Larini decats, x-pipe and aftermarket Tubi exhaust. 2. Get the Formula Dynamics drive by wire. This shifts the transmission faster and a given for this car. 3. Always drive it in sport mode….never drive the car in automatic as the clutch will wear more…car is built to be driven with the paddles. 4. Always shift at 4,000 RPMs and above, again to save the clutch as at this RPM, it shifts faster. 5. Purchase the Formula Dynamics lowering springs, front and rear sway bars and ECU tune and feel this car transform as to how it should have come from the factory. 6. 0-62 mph - 4.8 0-60 4.5 - 4.6 Top Speed 180 mph + 7. I also have carbon fiber seats, door panels and paddle shifters….these cars are a fantastic value. 8. Don’t bother reading the negative reviews as these are from people who have never owned one of these fabulous machines…take care of this car and it will take care of you….the sound, panache, normally aspirated V-8….and the smile on your face priceless.
Happy 21st…to be honest…get the Formula Dynamics drive by wire first…then, get the cat deletes. The secondary cats fail…this will also open the car up for more power and sound.
What’s clutch life on these? Rough cost to have an independent shop do a clutch swap? I’ve toyed with getting one of these for years as a cheap 2nd “daily driver” I’ve owned 3 pedal Ferraris, but these early F1 transmissions still scare me!
@@sarahdell4042well - I just found out the hard way that the earlier versioned Valeo Clutches have “fingers” that fail…had I know that the shop would’ve only had to take the clutch out once and I would not have had to spend $10k. The new clutches supposedly do not have this problem. You’re probably looking at $4-6k for a new clutch.
had a 2007 maserati gransport in argento luna with dark grey wheels for 6 years from new..a stunning car that grew a huge amount of admiring glances, sounded second to none and flew like the wind...loved it to bits but be aware even a basic service was the best part of £1650 in 2008 in scotland so this is not for the faint hearted performance wise or financially...advice is don't pay the bills on the joint account or the shit will hit the fan big time...😂
These are great cars and very reliable. I honestly think these are one of the most underrated cars out there. Beautiful design, lovely interior (especially with the full leather headliner) and a Ferrari derived 4.2 litre engine that sounds absolutely amazing. Formula Dynamics have some cool bits for these cars also. Oh, and agree with the other comments - those black wheels look terrible! Have them redone please. The Gransport LE came with a dark grey wheel that looks 👌 - Grigio mercury I believe is the colour of the LE wheels.
Hey Bob, this Maserati is a sweet ride, looks like it's really fast too!! Unfortunately I'm not a fan of black wheels!!! Other than that it's great!!! 👍👍🙂
Great looking and sounding cars. Unfortunately black wheels always look horrible imho (regardless of brand or price) and maintenance on these is prohibitively expensive in my experience. Ditch the butt ugly wheels Bob 🤣
I love your vlogs (sincere, interesting, come across as a thoroughly decent bloke), but hate the hooliganism of thrashing cars on public roads in traffic…respectfully.

“Que Bella!” I have always loved these. GLWTS and thanks for the video. Cheers.

@@ChicagoItalian Still spendy given the cars aren’t worth too much more :(
Love the GranSport and Cambiocorsa. They have timeless design. Aside from the clutch and the variators, these are great cars!
I wonder how much it would cost to replace the original Wheels, or to paint those a color that looks good with that car

Can you throw in rear tires too?
Lol
That mismatched bumper would drive me nuts. Yeah, the OCD is strong with this one.

@@euroasianbob9268 nice! Still on the market? It's a beautiful car - ignore the black wheel haters.
@@JoJoJoker I really like the car way more than expected. In no hurry to sell. Lol.

Powder coat the wheels gunmetal and show off those design of those oems as you can’t see how beautiful they are in black in my opinion. Beautiful car
