- Rescue video of homeless sad shelter dog crying for help. Saved by Howl Of A Dog he makes an amazing transformation and now needs an adoptive family. We rescued Arkin from a public pound from Romania. He was underweight, with many wounds on his body and suffering from a terrible flea infestation. He has made a beautiful recovery and his personality has started to shine through: he’s very good with people and enjoys cuddles, he’s playful and gets along well with other dogs and he loves to be taken out for walks.
Arkin is an ideal family dog: obedient, extremely well behaved indoor, house-trained, good with children, easy to walk on leash, not reactive over his food. Also, he’s a fast learner and already knows the basic commands.
Estimated age 6-7 years, medium sized: he weighs now 20 kg (was around 16 kg when we saved him, and still has to put on a few more kg to reach the ideal weight) fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered.
Arkin is longing to be part of a family where to feel loved and cared for. He is in Howl Of A Dog’s care in Romania, but we allow international adoptions, so he can travel to the USA, Canada or Europe. I do want this dog but I live in apartment with two cats and that would be too much but one day I will get me a puppy or better yet a full grown dog from a shelter. He lived so quietly in that hell of a place,his food lying on the ground just thrown at him,what a terrible way to treat mans best friend,his loneliness and isolation is over now,it's an amazing transformation,he's beautiful and loving his freedom. Thankyou so much for giving this dog a new life.

Agnes T I just pray whoever adopts him takes good care of him. I've seen animals adopted and then taken back many times just because they couldn't care for them anymore and then go back to adopt another pet they liked better. I hate when people do that but I've seen it done.
heyhey hey I can't believe that people would have the nerve to do that,this thought of them messing around with a poor dogs mind just angers me. I just pray that doesn't happen to this lovely dog,he's had a long lonely life.
This is a very touching story. Animals are mostly free of deceit, evil, cruelty, exploitation, greed, etc. Animals are a reminder that not everything in the world is evil and corrupt.

What a wonderful dog. It was heartwarming to see the expression in his eyes and face change as he realized his life was about to change. That someone would take care of him and give him warmth and love. I am glad to see that he has a happy life now. Thank you for saving him!
