Michael C Hall is actually amazing at voice acting. Idk if you're a fan of DC animated movies but he plays a version of batman in one and it's a very enjoyable performance
Season 4 is the GOAT, and one of the reasons is how funny it was...even John Lithgow, playing one of the scariest villains in TV history, had the chance to pull a few jokes in.

John lithgow also played Earl Talbot Blake, the antagonist in “Richochet” w/ Denzel Washington. And he was beautifully brutal in that movie. He’s a very versatile actor.
Truthfully it’s too bad Rita was killed off. It would have been interesting to have seen Dexter as a full blown family man for a while. I feel like killing her off was too much of a shock value ending to the season and ultimately it worked against the show. Not that her death was the only problem but it didn’t help in my opinion.
Nah it was fitting. In a sad way, Dexter had started to see that he actually cared about Rita and Harrison, but because of his selfishness in not killing trinity, Rita died. It works well. You can’t place the badness of later seasons on it imo, it had more value then being just for shock value
Rita became a demanding, bossy, critical nag since Paul's death. She was so awful during her pregnancy and during the wedding planning with Miguel's wife, I was surprised the writers chose to go that way. She then became the epitome of the bitchy, entitled wife and was so hard to watch as she browbeat Dexter that I skip through all her scenes when I rewatch. I was relieved when she died.
They way they showed how moronic everyone else was, while aso showing dexters faults , and also showing the contrast in all of that is beautiful. Dexter WAS the best thing.
You guys know you deliberately left a part out on purpose. When the cop wakes up and starts yelling help Dexter comes in. She asks, "What're you gonna do, rape me?" He throws his hands up and says, (something like, because I can't remember exactly) "What?! No! Nobody's taping anybody! Why do people always think that?!" That part always gets the laugh. But because he said, rape, you decided to cut the whole part out.
That campfire story was pretty funny. I think the last part Dexter was about to say was "…and smash their own skull with it." But he didn't wanna scare the boys too much. They were just 10-year-olds, after all.

I always liked Cody. In my opinion, he always seemed easier to please, and in some cases, he seemed to be closer to Dexter than Astor was. Again, that's just IMO.
