dude....more that i listen to you in video, more i can relate to you.....starting with getting into simracing...out of addiction and toxic relationships....dude.....we have so much in common ❤ im going to be on your channel forever..starting today ❤
I just ordered an Alpha U with a GT Pro round wheel and gt neo to go with some p1000 and the DS-8X shifter. I'm beyond excited. I'm replacing a Logi G Pro. It is an excellent base, too, and I'll probably miss the Trueforce, but i have haptics to fill that void. Your vid made me more excited! Keep on racing!
I remember when I was buying my first direct drive wheel, and fortunately, the Alpha Mini was unavailable, so I ended up getting the 20Nm VRS. Right away, I knew that a 10Nm base wouldn’t fully satisfy me as my next upgrade. Many people don’t understand that higher torque isn’t about playing at the hardware’s limit; it’s about faithfully replicating what happens in real race cars. Additionally, a lot depends on the game title. The force feedback in ACC really stands out at 14Nm and above (depending on the rim). Having extra Nm beyond what’s set also helps the wheelbase run at lower temperatures and protects against clipping. My favorites are the SC2 Pro, VRS, and Simagic U. Great video and good upgrade Daniel 🙌
@KiliansCreative yah man I agree. I actually made a album on my phone awhile strictly for all my sim racing videos and pictures. Every little while I go through it and look at them all as they continue to add to the folder.
Love my mini and checks all boxes for me, but.... I feel like there is more offer and this is where I'm at this moment. In the new year I will be upgrading to the Alpha 100%. Same as you, mini is amazing and whoever buys it will be more than happy. Glad to hear your upgrade. Cheers
That’s where I was as well brother. Perfect wheelbase. Muscles adapt over time. This will give you a refreshed and beyond insane experience once you get to this level. 🎉
I had the Logitech G Pro, Simagic Alpha, to now the Asetek Invicta. Switching to the Invicta was the best decision I made. Incredible detail and force feedback.
I’m currently running the GT dd pro 8nm and after dropping my csl pedals and swapping to VNM, I realised fanatec isn’t as good as I thought. Looking around now at new bases. This just went to the top of the list. Thanks bro 🙌
The dd+ is as good as most wheelbases at the top end. But yes other fanstec wheelbases aren't as good. Also please remember everyone is saying the vnm has more detail then any wheelbase. So something to consider.
I’ve ran Fanatec hardware as well I think that’s important to note. I’ve ran their pedals v2 and also the GT DD. Very pricy for little performance imo.
@KiliansCreative I agree the gt dd pro wasn't special but the dd+ is incredible. Absolutely on point insane details and speed. With a slew rate of around 6.3nm/ms which is around the same as the forte and simucube pro2. Its a very very good wheelbase. I also owned the cslv2 pedqls. Good pedals for the price but the p1000s are way better.
i’ve gone from g29 to cammus c5 and now the logi g pro. i’m thinking about going to alpha u when i move houses finally get to buy a full rig and not use a wheel stand anymore. also i already have a gt neo so i can run that with whatever upgrade i’m going for… currently looking at vrs or alpha u
Always pleasure to watch your videos and awsome rig also like from another planet :D I'm using CSL DD 8nm and running it in AMS2 at 70% gain which is maximum to avoid clipping so I feel like my sweet spot is around 10-12 NM max. So I'm planning to upgrade to Simagic and can't decide which one to choose ( Alpha or Alpha U ). Even if I run Alpha on 70-80% in game then I have 3 - 4.5 nm headroom and should be okey to avoid clipping. The price difference between Alpha and Alpha U is about 240€. I heard that there is no difference between FFB details etc but only strenght difference 15nm / 23nm. Any honest advice are appreciated ! Mainly playing rally and AMS2. In rally you need much less nm than other sims.
Been following you on our fb group, I too just bought an ultimate but only after using a mini for 3 months. Would you be interested in putting out a video on tuning the Alpha Ultimate in both ACC and Simpro software?
I ordered the alpha but doesn't come in stock for 2 months. Hoping I can hold out. Thinking of upgrading to the u because it is in stock. Upgrading from a g29
Thank you for the video. Also have Alpha Mini and looking for upgrade at some point. Think Alpha Ultimate will be the one to get. Will you sell your Alpha ?Mini or have it as back up?
I was considering just jumping to the alpha, but I am glad that I did not, and just went straight to the ultimate. I do plan on selling it in the next couple of weeks!
Interestingly enough, I don’t tie what I LOVE to do to a monetary value. That’s a recipe for burnout :-) been there. Even if I do post something that has an affiliate link, and I make this extremely clear with any company that wants to work directly with me and the channel, I’m blunt, I’m honest, and if there’s something I truly do not like, I’m not leaving that out.
That was a great video, man. Listening to you talk about your journey made me reflect on my own. I’m glad you’re enjoying the new wheelbase!
Thank you so much for the kind words, I think it’s good to reflect sometimes and remember how it all started 😊
Appreciate your honesty bro. Feel you! About to jump into Simagic myself. Fantastic video mate. Sub now for sure. ✌️

It's cool. Going back to where you start and appreciating that. Nice video bro
Thank you man I think it's amazing and crazy looking back sometimes.

Great video bro! Reminded me of when I first started out watching RBM & Boosted.
Thanks Matt, appreciate man. 🙏🏼

I have a friend doing the same from the Ultimate to the Invicta so that speaks volumes! 😊

Let us know how you like it, there are a few guides on Discord on how to properly set up different car classes, but yeah, you’re going to love it!
Been following you on our fb group, I too just bought an ultimate but only after using a mini for 3 months. Would you be interested in putting out a video on tuning the Alpha Ultimate in both ACC and Simpro software?
That’s a great idea and I will add that for my future videos

I’m glad you made the jump! Don’t even think about the G29 ever again. 😂 sim racing pros has it for 728 right now.

@@Max__apex you sound so upset with what you have.
Anyone else's Simpro UI randomly get blurry?
Are you actually making a review without an affiliate link? What trickery is this?
