Discovered RR last month, coming from AC and ACC. Oh dear, that physics and FFB is gorgeous on RR! Love the sound engine too, the little details that I feel on the wheel from the FFB, they're all organic and balanced. I've a Motion Platform V3 and x4 bass shakers. It's glorious, and ironically, more than AC in some areas!

I remember when I was buying my first direct drive wheel, and fortunately, the Alpha Mini was unavailable, so I ended up getting the 20Nm VRS. Right away, I knew that a 10Nm base wouldn’t fully satisfy me as my next upgrade. Many people don’t understand that higher torque isn’t about playing at the hardware’s limit; it’s about faithfully replicating what happens in real race cars. Additionally, a lot depends on the game title. The force feedback in ACC really stands out at 14Nm and above (depending on the rim). Having extra Nm beyond what’s set also helps the wheelbase run at lower temperatures and protects against clipping. My favorites are the SC2 Pro, VRS, and Simagic U. Best sim these days if we talk about pure fun of driving. Great cars and tracks inside, good graphics and great physics. My only dream - if R3E will make inside Racing events like in iracing or give R3E to LFM, it would be the Best sim ever, without it it will die if ac evo would work and support online racing at propher level

Just ordered one of these as the Grid Porsche dash is out of stock. I had the Grid Porsche dash but sold it as it did not work with my setup at the time. This will be interesting to compare it to the Grid. One issue that I had with the Grid that this one looks better for is the Grid unit had all the cable connections on the bottom which caused mounting issues .... the dash could only be mounted so low as it needed clearance on the bottom for all the cables. Being on the back this seems to be a better setup. Lower resolution so we will see!

Good video. Important note. Try to set the key bindings at useful key bindings. Try to set them under the arrow keys on your keyboard. This way you can adjust the ffb from each car when you are on track. This is a powerful tool I can tell you... 👍

Awesome video and hoping more people will give it a try and see for themselves. RRE have made some big improvements recently and it's become much easier to setup than a few years back. It's a fantastic all rounder and the online racing is close wheel. Oh and for anyone in VR... no brainer 😅 Also, good luck with the wheelbase. I'm running Asetek and it's an easy recommendation, but you're right, you can't go wrong with Simagic. Please do more RRE videos and enjoy 😊 😉
