After watching your videos i became aware about health. We cut down on biscuits(rarely eat them), cut down on oil while cooking, eating fast food rarely etc. Even my 10 year old daughter has understood and reduced junk food. She now knows what is healthy and what is not. So thank you.
Sir, this message is regarding the Bournvita incident. Bournvita now has 46 grams of Total sugar and 32.2 grams of added sugar. Previously the total sugar amount was slightly more than 50%. I think the 32.2% added sugar is completely fine and there is no point complaining for the same. First of all, Total sugar is an amount which sums up all the sugars present in the product. This means the sugar added and the sugars present in the cereal which they use is also considered. So, our main focus should be on "Added sugars" because (Total- added) sugar does not taste sweet. There is 32.2% added sugar which is approximately 1/3rd of the amount that we consume. If we mix 3 tablespoons of the powder in 200ml of milk, we are diluting the powder by a lot. We also expect the drink to turn out sweet and it should not require external sugar to be added. If we consider the two situations, it is basically 1 tablespoon of sugar in 1 glass of milk. This amount of sugar is required to make drink sweet. Consider maggi masala which maggi provides in the maggi. The masala contains a lot of salt. This should not bother us because only the masala packet is used to make maggi, and there should be no need for extra salt. In the end, I would like to say that 32.2% added sugar is alright considering the fact that small amount of the powder is to be added to a glass of milk. No one really eats the powder itself. In the end, I would like to say that I really appreciate your videos and the fact that they decreased the Total sugar amount is always better. Love your videos.
