Those early 2000’s 3.5L Nissan were notorious for timing chain issues. A family member owned one second hand. It sounded just like that one when the hydraulic timing tensioner malfunctioned and eventually popped the timing chain off.

That Mustang made my hair stand on edge. Not much to have it repaired to keep.
I used to be the GM of a nightclub in Detroit. Just up the road was the Roush facility. Many of the guys would pop in for dinner and a few barley pops in the evening. They kept inviting me down for a tour. So one slow afternoon after I got the wheels in motion I took a spin up the road .. Man ...I gotta tell you,. Was I ever impressed. Place was as clean as an operating room ..not a drop of oil or dirt anyplace. They were in full swing filling their contract with Ford building the Shelby KR mustangs at that moment. Great group of guys.

My grandfather used to have one of those Dodge vans and I remember listening to stories my father told me of them driving it to Atlantic City New Jersey when Casinos were still in their prime. They said they used to always have to hang out in the van with cousins while the adults went to gamble. I wish I was there to experience it.
I totally agree with you on the opulence of the G Wagon. My brother is a pilot and he drives one. I have to say that many haters would probably say your Red Eye is the same kind of opulence. Just saying, not trying to be disrespectful. Many laughed at us when we bought a new Alfa Romeo SUV. However, it has been an amazing vehicle, and mostly affordable. That Maxima was a peach in hiding.

I think that Maxima uses chain, which also drives the water pump. So when that pump go, which it will, you'll need to spend serious money to get it replaced.

The VQ engines use timing chains. From the 3.0 to the 4.0. you hearing a rattle from the timing chain.

Have you checked the intake for leaks on Grand National? I really enjoy the content I watch every day keep going , it's an awesome car
of a flood car take out the spark plugs and chek the oil if there is no exessive oil start it without the plugs. Wile taking em out you can chek for rust on the plugs.
I wonder if the Optima and Sequoia were damaged in a tornado, it would explain all of the grass and stuff covering both of them.

Ive had many many 3800 series2 engines. In a couple buick regals a couple grand prixs love then ibe had them reach over 250k miles.

mustang has a 775 horsepower roush and a 2012 gt500 with 800 horses so them and dodge go back and forth i love both
That van would be a good candidate for a conversion to a lovely camper at $800 even iff it needs a new engine would still be worth it in the end

I had a 2005 Maxima, the transmission slipped like crazy, and when i tried to trade it in, the first thing dealers would ask me is if the transmission works, very big problem with the car
