    What a great interview with so many amazing, real-life, everyday suggestions /tips to get & keep yourself healthy! It’s not about looking good, it’s about feeling good, moving effortlessly, and helping your body do what it naturally wants to do! Sal is the everyday guy who knows what “real people” need. He’s an encyclopedia of knowledge who knows the body/mind connection. I love his complete disclosure from his decades of training people and how he breaks the myths of training & all the BS marketing that has been targeting towards women and training. I love his podcast! And I enjoyed the host’s honesty about her real-life actions & struggles with fitness and nutrition!! Amazing interview on both sides, thank you so much to you both!!

    This was such a treat!!! I love Sal, he is so smart ( and handsome). I try to catch him when he is a guest host on someone's show because he is so full of knowledge. I could listen to him for hours! Going out to get his book today!❤❤❤

    People overestimate formal cardio like running and gym equipment and underestimate the importance of daily general movement.
    Let's say that someone runs for an hour but is then sedentary most of the day. The person who walks 10-15K steps over the day and walks up and down a flight of stairs for 10 min a few times a day will smoke the runner.
    The best part is that stuff like going for walks and walking up/down stairs is such low intensity movement that it doesn't trigger a stress response in the body. So you'll have way more energy day to day, feel better from moving a lot more, and burn more cals. Doing a combo of weight training and a lot of daily movement is superior.

    Great analogy Sal. It goes along with the book called The Long Walk. And it also talks about how getting started is sometimes the hardest part. Very great interview❤

    I would rather lift weights than do cardio any day.

    Hard disagree on fasting not being effective for fat loss.

      Fasting is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I lift everyday, yoga, run, I've always worked out and been fit my entire adult life. But I also always struggled with the same 30lbs. I made the switch to IF, and throw in OMAD and ADF here and there. 18 months later, with no other changes, 30 lbs are gone, and I have no concern it'll be back. Fasting has changed everything for me.

    Yeah, but what fun is eating by itself... I always eat while watching a movie. I will just eat whatever I've prepared in any case. So, what difference does it make

      @Siegbert85,
      You will eat more if eating mindlessly, like while watching tv...
      Eat slowly and mindfully, enjoying the textures and tastes of your food, chewing thoroughly...

      @@calista1280 As I said: I prepared the food beforehand. So, I just eat what I've prepared. It doesn't magically get more just because I'm watching TV

    The interview was great with lots of useful information but she asks too many different questions at times without letting Sal finish the answers! It’s becomes annoying 😫

      I AGREE!!
      She needs to Calm Down and let her guest finish speaking ! Especially when they know what they are talking about --

    We are actually stronger, without exercising, and we keep, the non-exercising, strength. 🤔 The exercise while we workout, is temporary.

      Sal agree’s. In a non-personal training terminology, or factuality. Or maybe, he is only friendly to me 🤔.

      Disagree... Exercise tears down muscle fibers. which heal and grow stronger. So exercise increases strength.
