When I was younger, my mother would tell us to never go in the kitchen when the pressure cooker was on because it could explode and kill everyone one in the kitchen. Any time my mother would go into the kitchen I would cry and scream because I thought she was going to die, especially when taking off the lid. Thank you for your tutorial. I can’t believe I successfully used a pressure cooking without killing myself and my children. I am so proud of myself. Most important the food taste delicious
Wow, thank you so much for this video. i've had my instant pot for about a year and havent use it yet, but now that you made me feel like i can. Thank you.
Great video, miss seeing you on QVC with David. You are such a good teacher and presenter it is nice to still get emails and watch you tube videos and learn from you.
I know I’m a bit late…. to this video, but I just got an instapot and just found you! This video is great for someone just learning to use one, like me! I love your blue ceramic baking dish that fits perfectly into pot, where did you get it? I can’t find something similar anywhere.
Loved you on QVC...so glad you are continuing to share your knowledge here. 👍🏻😍

Great lesson Meredith. I own a pressure cooker but don’t use it as much as I should. This video has me wanting to branch out. Thank you for sharing ❤️
That is so great! I hope it does inspire you to pressure-cook more. It's a great way to get a meal on the table fast.

I love your idea of getting different gaskets for different things. Where did you get the colored gaskets at ?
Hi Debby. I got mine right off Amazon. You can see them here: bluejeanchef.com/product/pressure-cooker-replacement-gaskets-set-of-3/
Amazing video and info! Thank you,
I think I know the answer...but if pasta is cooked in there, is there a good time to put in there to make it al dente?
Perfect lesson;)
