This is SO true. Our late beloved Aussie was going LAME in one of his rear legs and our vet recommended that we try these glucosamine and chond[whatever] haha, and it bought him a year! THEN when we figured we would have to for SURE get the surgery, but we were shopping prices to see if we could get it done for less than the appx $3K it would cost at OUR animal hospital, our neighbor's vet suggested that we first try Fish Oil (remember my question to you Doc Roark?) and THEY bought him until he had to be put down with prostate cancer over a year later. I am still reeling from that even though we have 2 beautiful rescues with us, Chevy was my beloved baby. So, for anybody out there who may have this issue, DO get good supplements and give them a chance before opting for a difficult surgery! Thanks doc!
