    Powerful exchange of mythic proportions. I could see feel the beast mode in both of you. I sometimes experience Peterson as a locomotive 🚂 barreling down the tracks, stopping for moments for more steam, and then heading off again in a beautiful rampage of passion and discovery....

    I don't know Jordan Peterson's material well but he keep popping up. He seems to still be searching, analyzing, bumping into higher truth, but not yet embodying his Higher Dimensional Self. Maybe he'll break thru the ceiling in a couple of years.

      Yes after some DMT and heavy mushroom waves he would be perfect, but tbh he seems like a very decent man. I’m socially pretty liberal but everyone’s criticisms of him seem to be because they aren’t willing to let him have his own opinion.

    For anyone doubting Jordan Peterson's character without having read any of his books or watched his free lectures, perhaps start with doubting yourself. This is what I did and I partly credit that self-doubt for finally getting out of my shell and starting to work for the good of mankind. I say that as someone who studied gnosticism, mysticism and many other occult "isms" through many great teachers before semi-reluctantly starting to study Peterson. The quest for truth requires a humble heart. Thinking we know more than we do and that our own impulsive judgement is flawless is dangerous to ourselves and others. This is precisely what fuels war if acted out by powerful beings.

    Great content! Very expansive.
    The expression “home is where your heart is” come to me at latter end of the conversation. Perhaps we began moving out of heart based being when we shifted from living under a temporary shelter to a permanent home?

      Wow such an interesting thesis.
      I'll keep that in mind and ponder about it but my intuition is you're onto something. First picture coming to mind is the culture of young travelers, van people in their whole various ways of nowerdays vehicles, and how happy all of em are reclaiming the home is where they heart is credo 🌍❤️

    Jordan, regarding personality is shaped by society: The reason I am introverted is so I don't have to negotiate with other people about my personality. I am confident about who I am and I do not need to play the social game or allow any one to tease me about my personality because I don't give them the opportunity to do that. As far as I am concerned, most of society is immature and I am not interested in engaging with that. I have very few friends and they respect me for being me. Im saying this because those whose personality is influenced and shaped by society are immature beings. I could be wrong

    • @TheWildPrince
      @TheWildPrince 5 місяців тому

      At least you’re humble enough to admit you could be wrong. I am also an introvert but I don’t consider my lack of social interaction as not participating in any type of social “game” as an introvert I just have finite reserves of energy. I would rather discuss the mysteries of the universe than discuss the weather. Socializing isn’t a game it’s just how the world operates. I think having the mentality of refusing to participate in it bc you view it as a game could lead down some very dark paths. Especially coupled with your grand assumption that everyone besides you and your close friends are immature. How could you possibly even know such a thing without leaving your introverted comfort zone. As far as not allowing people to tease you I think Jordan Peterson himself has said how that is necessary for correcting civilized social behavior. I think assuming that all has to do with “caring what people think” is a little closed minded. You are closing yourself off to the world bc you don’t care what others think/they are all immature anyway.. I could be wrong but it sounds like to me like you care very much what others think. If you didn’t why would you close yourself off, allow criticisms of your behavior to effect you on a deeper level and make grand assumptions about the character of people in the world at large that you don’t even participate in. Not a judgement, just something worth thinking about. Maybe questioning your beliefs and true motives is called for. Do you really not care or are you scared and hiding from something?

    If you identify with nothing, your identity is actually infinite. The zero point. No need for acceptance from others. I identify with nothing yet could be anything and all at the same time. I am that I am. Becoming what I choose.

    My golden snitch is Anandi Sano. (Peiec International) Her teachings relate to acceptance of self and connection to all.

    I have seen this guy speak a lot and he really carries a lot of inflexible definitions, anger, confusion, judgement, and sadness while speaking about the transcendent… and for me it makes his message ring hollow.
    I get that people resonate with what he speaks to, but as a hero to many, I wish for his followers, that he could truly embody a deeper expression peace and connectedness.
    He is contemplative, and certainly plays and looks the part of an authority. But ultimately he is a brand, and it is important to question, does his model of thought produce a healthy life? Does he have a healthy mind?
    Are his insights born from actions of failure or actions of success? Are his insights born from contemplation or out of reactivity?
    I think it is worth considering…

      You're absolutely right. At the same time, I wouldn't worry with wanting to perfect the teachings of one mainstream teacher such as Peterson, because it's the individual's responsibility in his quest to empowerment to 1. realize there are many teachers available for each level of consciousness if needed 2. eventually wake up to their true Self, their unique essence, which is the ultimate teacher we should all strive to get to know.
      Physically isn't meant to behold perfection in each of its spoken words, but merely to point to us where it lies in truth. Peterson does a good enough job at pointing for the masses, especially since he instruct to get our own life in order before attempting to change the world with mere unrooted ideologies. This alone is a massive step for many people. The rest of the job is meant to be done by each individual, using their own Will power and intelligence.
      In fact, I really appreciate Peterson's imperfection, it makes glorifying the pointing finger less likely. The less sticky the teacher, the freer the student. Too bright a light and we forget our own.

      @@sunongral5605 Thank you for the thoughtful response.
      I see Peterson, and many like him, metaphorically, encouraging people to get off the train before their arrival.
      Ultimately encouraging people to commiserate, densify, and see intrinsic systems of polarity as dualistic instead of as an expression of unity.
      It seems to create self fulfilling loops of resistance and fear, that get propped up as justified or even noble by trying to protect wholeness, when it is essentially a dance of division that promotes a lack of acceptance of what is, and can demean individual and group agreements, and even aim to suppress others expression of free will. Ultimately creating another pole of what he is fighting against.

      @@AlchemicalAudio it might be worth noting that this conversation took place during the couple year period of Dr. Peterson being in very bad health. Bad enough that he could only sit for an hour or two before needing to pace around the room screaming in pain. Coupled with his history of depression, I can imagine why he might have a bit of a harsh tone while speaking about things, having to constantly remind himself to not blow his brains onto the floor. Or you could just think the worst and learn nothing from one of the greatest intellectual minds of the last century. Muggles, they don’t see nothing, do they?

    • @TheWildPrince
      @TheWildPrince 5 місяців тому +1

      You’re judging from the perspective of a hippy dippy, new age, woo woo, (whatever you want to call it) mentality. Not everyone thinks the same as you. I actually find your questions to be quite shallow and silly with a desire to be much deeper than they actually are.
      Jordan Peterson is one of the few people out there questioning and brining his audience along for the ride.
      He isn’t an authority figure bc he looks or acts like one. He is an authority figure bc people resonate with what he says and how he views the world.
      Your comment sounds like you think his audience thinks he is a God or something. Jordan Peterson isn’t an ideology. He is just an intelligent man who questions and shares his questions along with some of the answers that he has personally arrived at.
      There is an honesty, humbleness and truth in that, which makes people want to listen and learn more.

      @@TheWildPrince thanks for your thoughtful response.
      If we can agree that his brand of Evolutionary Psychology isn’t science, or at least how it is being applied is more akin to Philosophy than Science. And Jordan Peterson’s philosophy is tied to abstract inquiry not scientific truth, then sure he is bringing people along. But his credentials are what validates his position.
      Remember, the book “Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus” was one of the best selling books from the 90s, because people resonated with it…
      I think people believe that Peterson represents established truths about how the mind works and how it has evolved.

      The fact that you don't understand or are not interested in something doesn't mean it is inherently evil or wrong. Thinking so comes to the detriment of your own well-being, which is why I care to mention it. Speaking strictly from experience.
