The emergence of alt rock and the billions of branch-offs since, having our youth both before and after the emergence of the internet, before and after the rise of smart phones, before and after CGI, playing on every gaming system since Atari, living through the rise of franchises like Star Wars, Terminator, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Harry Potter...all of it makes me realize how lucky I am to be born when I was.
This is Def a hidden gem in 2000s music
Mid-life crisis every time I listen to these early 2000's songs (I'm 32)
Same...
Same here
I’m 32 as well. Music will never be as good as it was back then
High school mannnn
@Admin Chris looking so forward to it! lol :'(
Saw them in 2000 at Roseland, Portland, or..
Awesome show..!
Still listen to them daily!
Still one of the best releases. If you can't get energized listening to this, you have no pulse.
I was an old folks home awhile back and they were listening to swing and big band music, the music from their childhood.
I wonder if I'll hear this blasting in my old folks home 50 years from now...
If you find yourself in the same nursing home as myself, then yes, yes you will hear this blasting
Idk I feel like those of us that grew up blasting this might not make it to nursing home age lol
@@TheSqeeek that actually makes alot of sense for the Nirvana and NiN generation 😂
No
I found this song on my old ipod, god damn, brings back memories. This song was an absolute gem back in its day and still is. Wish they still made music like this.
Running from me
🤗
I found it! FINALLY. I've not heard this since the early 2000's when I was kid. Onto the playlist you go.
One hit wonders. I miss the early 2000's. So much good music
Man, what a great era. I was 21 years old, saw these guys open up for Papa Roach at The Machine Shop in Flint, Mi. They became one of my favorite bands at that time.
What are you used to listen now, man?
they sounded much better as 41down. I'm from their hometown and hung out with them before they got signed, when they were 41down. they sold out although I don't blame them, it was good money.
Unfortunately you can't find anything from when they were 41down.
@@Sanctifires ua-cam.com/video/HXDJwccFilc/v-deo.html here's their whole album
@@TravelTipsAsia wth? how did you find that haha. I've tried looking for that stuff for a long time.
@@Sanctifires I stumbled on this guy's profile a few months ago and started scrolling through his videos and there it was.
its 2024 can trust co do a revamp?!?! this song has been on my playlist since freshman year of high school
Hard to believe this has remained my favorite song for 18 years. Haven't once gotten tired of listening to it since I first heard it when I was 12. 🔥🤟🔥
Ditto! There's a few weirdos out there like us still, lol.
Hey me too man. I did Muay Thai and MMA for a couple years during my time in service and this was the one and only song I listened to before training.
It’s wild how good they could harmonize on both the screams and clean vocals. Alabama represent.
This song saved my life more than once
I'm happy it did and your still with us #rockon
My head is fucked up too. Badly. But i could never suicide, my life too precious :/
@Derek Charette what was it that the label wanted them to do?
Checking in you still alive
Yes they do
From trust company to chevell to story of the year this and trapted the are the bands that i listened to when i was a teen brings back a lot of those good days

[Verse 1]
Fear in me so deep, it gets the best of me
In the fear I fall, here it comes, face to face with me
Here I stand, hold back so no one can see
I feel these wounds, step down, step down
Step down!
Am I breaking down?
[Chorus]
Can I break away?
Push me away, make me fall
Just to see another side of me
Push me away, you can't see
What I see, the other side of me
[Verse 2]
Fall back on me and I’ll be the strength I need
To save me now, just come face to face with me
Stay in place, you'll be the first to see
Me heal these wounds
Step down, step down, step, down! Down!
I’m not breaking, down! Down
[Chorus]
Can I break away?
Push me away, make me fall
Just to see another side of me
Push me away, you can't see
What I see, the other side of me
[Bridge]
Go!
[Chorus]
Can I break away?
Push me away, make me fall
Just to see another side of me
Push me away, you can't see
What I see, the other side of me
[Outro]
No one can see anything on the other side of me
I walk, I crawl, losing everything and waiting for a downfall
No one can see anything on the other side of me
I walk, I crawl, losing everything on the downfall!
Fall!
Yep. 37 and still can't get over it

me too man, i was waiting for i on mtv and hoping that my father does not come because i needed a parabol to change it from morocco to europe, and that was a big fucking sin for hi. hhhhh

This is the epitamy of just how bad ass 2000s rock really was!!!!! One of many songs I still jam out to and I'm 32!!!!
I use jam to this as a kid because of my dad. He had alot of music in the house plus it was in a game I use to play growing up. Just turnt 30 this year. 80s 90s an early 00s was the best time for music
@@Heretic_maggot9 indeed it was bro!!!! I am always gonna kick out these jams myself so I definitely am right there with you!!!
@@joshdrumheller4920 hell yeah brother! There's a few bands today that not bad. My favorite band is slipknot. I'll always jam to them. Korn Mudvayne an all them. I love that shit. The last few days I been on a pantera/hellyeah kick
@@Heretic_maggot9 I still kick out on some Mudvayne!!!! Korn is a mood based for me but damn I love me some Slipknot!!!! I blast that everyday!!!! Pantera is my all time favorite and Type O Negative as well. Those two never ever get old!!!!
@@joshdrumheller4920 I got into slipknot when I was 7. That was back in 99. Saw em that yr at ozzfest also with my father. After that I went to every tour. This year I have to skip out on seeing em. Dealing with a hard break up an trying to get back on me feet an out of this hole I'm stuck in.
This an awesome song, and a unique cool concept, he brings the tidal winds with him everywhere he goes. The way the wind blows people's faces like that hahaha very humorous. I wish I was a teen in the early 2000s era. Also how fast do winds have to moving for that to happen 😂
If you are 31-36, you are part of the best generation alive right now. . . for so many reasons.
36 here dude!!!
23 but I respect my elders and the classics❗️❗️
Uh no I'm 43 brother lil
Nah im 20 and i love this song
@@playstationtwo877 it's not really about loving this song, it's about being a teen during that era. . . I love 80s music, but that's not the same as being a teen or in young 20s during the 80s, which would have kicked ass!
Vengeance '02 triple threat. My childhood.😮💨
This brings me back so far.... My nostalgia is just insane with this one... I remember this on Buzz Cuts... I loved this song and still do..... I would love to see a comeback... But it won't happen.. I know. But this makes me so proud of being a 2000s kid. I was born right at the start of 2000 and am DAMN PROUD OF IT!
Noel Spacking Amen on that one. Born in 97 and proud to be a 00's kid

Oh Snap.. Forgot about these guys.. They should’ve been bigger... The Lonely Position of Neutral was one of the best CD’s ever..
Absolutely
Always a goodie. The whispers, the screams. Yessssss!!!
Just stumbled across this gem. Brings back a wave of feelings and memories. You guys were more influential to many genres than most give you credit for.
i remember watching them practice in the shed next door to me before they were 41 down the good days!
I remember this song from when I was little ^-^ still love it!
It was a song on the original game MX vs ATV for xbox
Justin Greene MX Unleashed. Not MX vs ATV.
true, it was a fucking awesome game
It was on Disney's extreme skate adventure too
Easily one of the greatest all around songs of the 2000s, the way this whole song goes from lighter rock to hard core for a second then to some perfect bushit in-between is perfect
MX UNLEASHED BABY! Those were the good old days! I was like 8, 9 or 10 idk but that game was live af and that's how I started listening to rock like this! omg good times
Triple Backflip Rigor Mortis land no-handed.
Born in 2004 here but all i listen too is 90’s and early 2000’s rock, really missed out on that generation of music but still travel back imagining me as a teen then.
It was the best time of rock
