Lyrics:
Let's fight
We're face to face
Loyalty is what I need to see from you
You're insecure
I can see the fear that breeds in your heart
Where will you run? [x2]
Where will you hide? [x2]
I see the blood drip from your eyes
Who will survive? Let's get it on
And we'll fight
I know who you are
The leader of lost souls
You can't kill me
I'm immortal
I'm not afraid to die
My soul will travel on
You can't kill me
I'm immortal
Immortal

Today's kids will never know what we experienced in the 90s and early 2000s... legendary moments...
Now they getting hyped up over Fortnite events. Lmao
This was my shit would boot up the game just to watch this such a badass time back then
If I remember correctly, this did very successful in sales and was the reboot (not story wise) that MK deserved. Now we have the NRS era with devs who think that Sindel was a thot and a legion of Mileena fan virgins giving Ed Boon death threats. As fun as and awesome looking as the current MK games are, I still miss the Midway era. Good thing the fans are keeping the old games alive with hacks and M.U.G.E.N.

lmao why it's a terrible song
@@stevebanning902 😂 There is a sense of familiarity with the band itself, considering I enjoy their music, and the song has that 2000s hype feel. It’s cheesy, but enjoyably cheesy, and the vibe works with the game.

This song has been with me since before Deadly Alliance even released. It speaks to my soul on so many levels. Thank you for all the motivation through this song, Adema.
How to be a metal band in the early 2000s:
Bassist needs to be bald and have facial hair
Vocalist must have his hair spiked up
Drummer must never wear a shirt
Guitarist must tune down to at least drop C
Then you got yourself some dope music
Lmao what’s funny is you forgot at least one member of the band has to have a seven string for no reason at all. One guitarist is playing a 6 les Paul the other looks like he’s playing a Stephen carpenter 7
NU metal
You left out some other important things to be an early 2000s metal band:
Dreadlocks (no limitations, it can be at least one or two members or the entire band have dreads)
Turntables (optional)
Jumpsuits/Tracksuits
Dyed hair (preferably bleached to look like Guy Fieri)
Straight facial hair (aka modified goatees/soul patches)

@@xXG3TPWNEDXx back when game makers cared about how detailed and indepht the storyline of the game was instead of how much money in micro transactions could be made off of multiplayer pay to win DLC, and you got to admit basically every A rated or higher game made now is like 80+% of the content is MP focused
@@NovaLight1990 I completely agree with you. They don't make them the same anymore. For good reason too. They make way too much money the way it is now. How games were made is extinct forever I'm afraid. Too many people open their wallets. So they have no incentive to ever change it.

The look. Stage presence. That drummers a badass.
Nü metal became one of my favorite types of music. It blends the fluidness of hip hop, hooks of pop and edge of metal.
That second verse starting at @1:30 grabs you and pulls you in and the journey of the bass hitting lower and lower notes until @1:37 when the bass sounds like

Five games ago, NetherRealm Studios (originally Midway) used this song for the fifth game in the Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. I would love it that if five games later, they reused this song in Mortal Kombat X. It fits the series very well, and is definitely a favorite among MK fans.
That's a lie a lot of MK community members and fans think the era and this song we're terrible
Actually, it's not a lie. Did I say it's EVERYONE'S favorite? No, I did not. Did I say it's a favorite among fans? Yes. That doesn't mean i'ts EVERYONE'S favorite. I've met a lot of people who like this song, and a lot who don't. So no, I didn't tell a lie, Fry. I stated a fact.
spear401 A fact? that's more of a minority's opinion
It's an opinion that some people like this song and some people hate it? No. What you're implying is that everyone hates the song in that case, since you believe your statement is a fact and mine is just an opinion. Do you not know the difference between the words? A lot of fans like this song. A lot of fans hate it. A lot of fans are neutral about it.
