What's funny is I grew up in this time, and back then we said the same thing. "Remember when MTV played music?" This came out around when they launched MTV2 and tried to actually not make it terrible. That only lasted about a year or two

My dad died in Jan of 2003 and this song came out in July of that same year. I broke down crying in the theatre hearing it after seeing Freddy VS Jason, bought the CD and played it religiously. It remains one of my favorite songs. I played it on the 20 year anniversary of his passing and cried like I haven't cried in years. This song is amazing.

Полностью согласен. Переслушал сотни альтернативных групп и все равно возвращаюсь к Ill Nino и некоторым другим группам той эпохи. Никто из современных групп стиля не может повторить ту мелодику одновременно с агрессией и эмоциональный посыл текста.

ill nino never got as big as they deserved, they were in my top 5 in highschool in the early 2000s. lots of memories with friends who are no longer here with these songs and we got to see them open for disturbed during i believe it was the 10,000 fists tour? god that was 2 decades ago...

Just played a show opening for Lions At The Gate, which is the same singer and guitar players from this version (og version) of Ill Niño. I was all about this band when I was 13/14 so to be able to play a show with them was pretty awesome. Glad they're still jamming!
