exactly i work on pipers cessna’s, sky masters and the machine screw nut plates will strip so easily especially if they’re painted over, what i do it drill a 1/16 hole sideways just a little into the screw head where ever you strip it and stick a pick in there and try to spin it, its not always easy though when you’re so worried about paint
@@andriska2023 off Amazon I just bought a new HDD bay and now I got my PS3 working even better just put a 256gb SSD in it and it's a night and day difference
what if i just want to drill the screw head off? what do i use for that? i dont give the slightest fuck about removing the screw just want to take the decking off.
Absolutely agree. If you use an impact gun and you are careful, you never need to strip screws in the first place. Sometimes screw heads fill up with dust or paint, just use another screw tip to scratch out the paint or use a vaccuum to remove dust. Okay, so if the screw is already stripped (e.g. by someone else) then yeh - you need to solve the problem. I've used these bits before, they are rubbish...
Hard to tell the original installer to turn back time. This thing helps when you're fixing shit or taking stuff down and you run into one. I love these bits when i get to use them
You know if you use the right sized Philip head bit and actually put some strength into it you could get it out without stripping the absolute fuck out of it.
@@kap1526 I’m a carpenter and a metal worker, and I’ve literally never seen someone unintentionally strip a bolt or screw this badly, literally never, out of decades of work. And your telling me not everyone purposefully uses the right sized Phillip head? Your an idiot.
They do work, but try harder to not strip those heads.
Couldn't get rusted screws out, this worked! Thank you
Yes they do work but as an aircraft mechanic they do not work the best on some screws only because they are made of a harder steel

Great useful information. How about when the bolt is blind? - (No lines on the front of the screw ?)
But will this work on tiny screws?
Avoid Philips and flathead screws and use only Robertsons except for those made of soft metal.
Just for anyone curious, they dont work on alan screws, i have stripped 2.5 mil head screws and it wouldn't grab
This guy wasn’t even pushing in the stripped demo. Lol😂
Never had luck with it the 3 times I try it
Did you try the real ones?
What if the head is broken off!? Will it still work? 🤔
Never had luck with these things
This tool works maybe half the time.
Hand tighten the chuck bud
I never do that 😂
Just bought one of these kits and i had no luck getting the stripped screws out guess im fucked
Did u try low speed high torque setting this guy got lucky with the speed
Where did u buy them?
@@andriska2023 off Amazon I just bought a new HDD bay and now I got my PS3 working even better just put a 256gb SSD in it and it's a night and day difference
Bot that. It’s garbage. Broke 2 of them in 5 minutes.
U have to use low speed high torque setting or it will break this guy got lucky
Reverse twice???
Try it on a flat head screw.
it's never this easy
ah yes the famous lowes zinc/chewing gum alloy screws. those bastards can just plain tear out even if the bit stays properly seated.
Cool!
Its not hard to not strip screw heads... As soon as your bit starts slipping, stop your drill, put your shoulder into it, then try again.
Very snazzy

I ordered them at temu. I got this issue today
Temu is ur first mistake
@@mikedonlon1594no issues of them.

Square head fasteners are better!
Canada knows.
Just take your bit and hit it with a hammer and pull that screw out
Er, what?
Genius
You don't know me so with that I say save your money, zero results
Thought you was actually gonna show a trick, but you just showed us all a product most of us know about. Thanks for wasting my time.
Rubber band
Using a drill to drive the screws ? Ok sir, maby buy an impact gun😂

a drill works fine if you're not a dunce
Not here to bash but I’ve used identical product several times. ZERO SUCCESS!!
I've had excellent results and have been using this new gen' easy-out for years. The moral, sometimes something goes wrong.
U have to use low torque high setting
Low speed high torque i had a brain malfunction for a second

Not everyone does that. So sometimes you have to fix someomes fuck ups
