On wheels, nose gear have no brakes but as the wheels still spin there's a stop to keep them from spinning . Before landing .

Hello, I'm new to this obsession watching these videos and this channel. Last time I was on a flight was in 1999. Bad experience in the middle of a middle row in economical class on a BA from London to Montréal. You don't want to know the details. Anyway, is it normal that I'm falling in love with the rear of the A380 when they land?

In strong wind rudder can be used to adjust position to line up with centerline. Not only on the ground for steering .

Shame you can’t get on the top level of Q park there. If you have an arrangement with them they might also let you spot from their Gatwick facility as well.
Concorde did make a profit ,she earned £500 million for BA after tax profit,this was between a loss making 1982 and a highly profitable 2000 with just seven aircraft.

I'm sorry this is hard to listen to with all the talk of how exclusive you and your location is. Sounds like your trying to deter your competition more than anything. Anyway love the channel just have to turn the volume off on this one.
We don't have competition, we don't see it like that and no, it has nothing to do with that. It's important that the public know they are not permitted entry at this locarion, it is private land owned by Heathrow Airport, it has been a lengthy process to obtain permits to film here and they requested we make everyone know that the public cannot enter here or visit Jerry at this location. You have misinterpreted what was said.
What competition?? Jerry works hard to get his locations, and has to ensure the public and other people filming landings can't turn up at his spits as he has permission from the owners to use them. Nothing about Competition at all.
@@claireEire I understand that but it's a turn off when you have to say over and over and over again. If it's exclusive than no one would be able to get to the location anyway and you would not have to mention it over and over again. There is a lot of competition and when you start thinking there is not that's when your competition passes you by. I love all the channels and a fan of Jerry and his channel and that's why I had to say something knowing his hard core fans might get upset but it's not a bad thing to hear what others might think, and again I'm not bashing Jerry I really like him and his channel.
To be fair......Jerry and Gilly are way ahead of any competition anyway....The viewing figures prove that. I doubt that is the motivation. They clearly want to keep on improving the channel........and have a good dialogue with Heathrow. People always are terribly cynical in todays world. Its sad imo.
@@DonCarpBoeingPhan He has to repeat as some viewers might not have watched the stream from start to finish. What would happen if people tuned in two hours in, hadn’t heard it wasn’t accessible to the public and then turned up to that same spot? What if some people were at work and only watched part of the stream and missed him say it was exclusive?
Jerry would lose the location and the person would get ticketed …… My son loves BJTV and we watch most streams and in no way was it off putting.
As for competition, yes there are many LHR streamers but at least Jerry and Gilly work hard with LHR to get new locations and it’s not the same old, same time every week.
