Ernest Jones swing the clubhead method, swinging the club from start to finish! Love it
Marcus, this is the most important video for me of all the great videos you and your team have made so far. To create a lag already in the back swing by moving the handle and letting the club head follow was somewhat mind blowing and allowed me to create a completely new swing pattern and a natural, dynamic wind-up of the body in the backswing. Which is a good start for an effortless but dynamic downswing. Thank you so much.
Best regards, Marc
Another back to basics, classic GRF drill with the flailing motion. Use this as part of my warm up and without noticing it, using this helps develop a sound short game once you can fine tune it! Great instruction and amazing to see the development from the guy getting the lesson!
Another fabulous lesson, Marcus. The smiles on your clients' faces is priceless. You know you're doing an excellent job teachng them when you see it, it twlls you everthing yiu need to know about how the lesson is going. Cheers.
Great video! Ive been playing for 35 years. I use to have lag on my backswing (25-30 years ago) and instructors talked me out of it. Ive gone back to it in the last several months and it works. Really helps keep shoulders, arms, wrists and hands relaxed.
Another excellent session Marcus. I would love to see you do some videos on drills using the sliders as I think they can help as variations and supporting drills to the ones using the GRFi board. Do you have any plans for such videos in the future?
Love this backswing lag action
Great teaching Marcus-- well done
Ah, remnant the ol days of flowmotion cow tail. 👍 I still incorporate it in practice routines every so often.
Funny you highlight this very motion. I stumbled onto it while working on the 1,2,3 sequence leading into the drop, and discovered that if you time the wrist cock at the top, with the drop, you can use this time to begin the pop sequence. It takes getting used to. Very effective.
Love the Flail.
My average swing speed is 67 mph with my 8 iron. Trying these methods indoors this winter. Soon to get out to range . Last yr my 8i =135 to 145 yds. MAX with a good strike . ...... Marcus can I expect to get more speed that this with 8 iron if I use your method ??? 62 yrs old . need more distance
140 not so bad for the 8
Some golfers back in the 20's used to play like this with the flail, I wonder what happened to it 🤔
If only I could afford you Marcus 😊
you could probably afford my wife ..... I need the money !!!
just go for it - cheaper than a new driver these days
