    Here is a tiny advice.. you lay down a cloth under that cutting board and that board wouldn’t move and you don’t need someone to hold it in place for you..

    Question: what do you do with the pieces you cut off? Can you re-roll them and make a few more strips or can they be used for something else?

    Hi Saleem. Thank you for the easy to follow recipe. My question is, can it be done on a a non stick pan on a low gas setting rather than in the oven ? Will that change the sheets in any way ?

    Dude, put a damp towel under your board and it won't walk all over the place, and you won't need another set of hands to hold it.

    I normally oil both sides of d roti. So it opens up better and does not stick.

    Nice job. Well explained.
    I think u made a mistake by saying 1cup/250g of all purpose wheat flour.
    It should be 125g

    Thanks Saleem, I have been successful in this technique 5 or 6 times now but yesterday I did two large batches which stuck together like crazy, it frustrated me big time but I'm going for it again today (I'm getting orders now) so fingers crossed.

    Excellent recipe for beginners. Samoosa strips are not easy to make but you have simplified it for us. I cannot find pur anywhere so I tried your recipe. Now at least we can enjoy samoosas this Ramadan. Many thanks
