Embracing the circle was a good idea. The Sofa area looked amazing. But there are other colors than black and white. And they need some furniture like a proper library and desk area. The wet bar was really horrendous sadly.
Fouloul - I agree that wet bar was so tacky! It's like she took some left over materials and said...Mnnn what can I make with this. 1. Sometime Lean's ideas for bathrooms sinks and wet bars are just plain ugly and ridiculous!
I always wonder if the homeowners really like what she did. Can't believe she painted that tile floor, at least she kept the circle. At least they left the brick as is outside.
Very creative solution to the air ducts problem, and I love the rope sculpture and circular couch. I wonder whether the open ceiling circle is optimal for acoustics. I would guess much is lost as the sound waves dissipate upwards.
Love it!!!! There is sooo much brick intermittently located. If it was kept original, it would look too dark and the rooms "choppy". Right decision made. The wet bar, although customised, is a little impractical especially for the soirees (parties) I imagine they would have. There needs to be underbench fridges x 2.. At least!!! Love the form not the function.
Should have kept one natural brick focal point (maybe Centre of fireplace near the circle couch) to connect with the exterior of the house, wet bar & the rope sculpture were horrendous. Instead of the rope, drift wood could have been used or even an entirely different concept such as a sleek mid century style light which would have been easily DIYable.
I know, let’s take everything out that gives this house character, paint everything white, slide in some black couches and black basket-weave light fixtures for “color” and “texture,” and call it good.
Nice. I would've changed the entry flooring instead of just painting over it because it s the only thing that s really 'harming' the esthetics of the interior and kept the carpet in the sitting area if I was working on a budget.
Her style is very unique and cool in sections, but to live with these designs is not practical. Too cold and almost no functionality for a home you're supposed to live in for years
Should have encouraged the couple to sell. This is an architecturally unique property and choices made that compromised it. Should have been more emphasis on outside changes then inner.
i m not a lover of white or black but this is very pretty-those sofas r exact for that space. too bad she painted the brick, i would have kept it....but overall, nice transformation
The clients gonna invite guests in a White House.. guess the guests gonna get so uncomfortable.. also the living room’s just awful, so bland. The wet bar looks terrible. Worst design ever.
.....love.......it.........حبيت........
Leanne design is very clean and airy. She let the space to breath. It is light. She is very talented.
Love that glossy white brick wall genius

Beautiful house! I liked the original version of the house, actually.
They are obviously delighted with their home now, that is what counts.
Kudos on keeping the circle, dock points for painting brick and tile!!!
Beautiful
Loved the result but you had an amazing starting point! ❤️

her reaction seemed genuine
I noticed that HGTV UK does not have closed captioned...for us as defies people.
Can you add CC on all HGTV UK please thank you.
I love Leanne & Steve, bring them back !
Again, I Love it.
Would have liked to see some crystals dancing around small lights from the rope circle.
OMG! They destroyed this house!!!!!!!!!
Yep
Totally. That floor!! The brick!! All gone 😭
Oh STFU ,it's great !
❤ was ist das mega cool geworden ❤❤❤
That was a gorgeous design you did of that home. Loved too the leather sofas. I still love white an black decor.

Okk no no I I I I I hi no>
I love the circle and the custom sectionals
That’s quite the ceiling!
Innovative designer…👏🏻😍
Greg is gorgeous 😍
It never fails to amaze me that these women work all day and still look like they just stepped out of a beauty salon.
Love it!!!!

i love the sofa and everything else except the rope...a simple chandelier would have been nicer for me
I love brick too but in the way and not structural?

I'm starting to realize this is a pattern with them, it's too bad.
The Fords absolutely suck at this.
Um it s not exactly that. The white vibe is well thought of and planned
@@BedyBARNARD Hi, Karen. My 30 upvotes tell me I’m not wrong, but thanks for stopping by. Have a great day! 😘
I love and andore the Fords’ style. Another epic make-over from their hands. Even though I wouldn’t want to live there...
Sigh. All the amazing mid-century features are gone.
Hmm white on white easy easy no design not my thing
I'm curious how you "concrete" the walls. Is it just a thin topcoat over drywall?
There a different techniques as far as I know you can spray on concrete or use a specific colour which mimics Beton

you should add subtitles

Looks good except that round rope thing. That sucks bananas
That circle rope thing is hideous. Perhaps a designed circle metal fixture would complement the overall
(contemporary) design of the house.
Should have encouraged the couple to sell. This is an architecturally unique property and choices made that compromised it. Should have been more emphasis on outside changes then inner.
May the circle... be unbroken
...
I love Leanne s work but it can't always be just black and white. As a designer she needs more imagination
It always gives me blank canvas vibes a great starting point but not homey or colourful enough
That floor was what I liked most about the original house.
That herringbone flooring does not work in this house from the 70s. It all seems mismatched
O casal são brasileiros já assisti esse episódio ou só o marido dela quê é brasileiro.
She is an amazing designer, head and shoulders above the rest. Do not like the rope chandelier, though.
They are horrible designers. She's bizarre and all Steve does is whine about his work load.
i m not a lover of white or black but this is very pretty-those sofas r exact for that space. too bad she painted the brick, i would have kept it....but overall, nice transformation
She ruined the ceiling w/ that rope thing! Hate the couches, hate the white floors, refund homeowners money and make Leann remove most of it.
So agree with you! Those leather couches look uncomfortable and ugly, who wants couches where you can’t watch TV?
@@Meantforthis it is nice to entertain guest that way
Can't get with the rope chandelier
Me neither.
Not a fan of the rope chandelier, I'm sure they could have found something more aesthetically pleasing, that would have blended with the design!
This renovation was meh. I thought they would ship lap the circle vertically.
Hate the rope miasma, is not at all in keeping with the whole concept. Could have worked with far fewer pieces, and sizes of materials.
The clients gonna invite guests in a White House.. guess the guests gonna get so uncomfortable.. also the living room’s just awful, so bland. The wet bar looks terrible. Worst design ever.
Blahhhh
