Yeah, I've always found him fascinating because of that. There wasn't really much in the game that indicated him being particularly bad or anything like the standard Vykkers.
The fact that Stranger himself was willing to get an experimental surgery to hide his true identity from a Vykker both showed the desperation of Stranger's situation but also the level of cruelty the average Vykker possesses that a complete augmentation of someone's physical appearance is acceptable as long as the money's there. And bear in mind that the doctor only plays a small part in Stranger's Wrath.
Not to mention the fact that when you actually look at the art of the blue prints for docs planned surgery for stranger, his plan seemed to be to literally just stitch his two legs together... somehow?? Yeah, I think maybe Doc getting hanged was a blessing in disguise for stranger...
Doc seems to be one of the few Vykkers with any morality, he never told his patients' secret even died to protect Stranger considering D Castle Rader only found out when he found the papers that Stranger had on him.
Fun fact: the italian version of munch's oddysse both the vykkers and gabbit race name are change. Vykkers are called Saddyk ( as Sadico, italian for sadistic) and gabbits tripodonte (tripod)
my elementary school teacher looked a bit like a Vykker. Moreover, if the magog cartel exists it is thanks to them that they have created so many comforts for the Glukkons. Imagine going to the dentist and finding Irwin at Humpry saying, "Surprise!"
The Vykkers are truly evil characters and that's one thing that makes them incredibly fascinating! They are the true horrors of Oddworld and some of the viscous acts that they've been seen to commit are genuinely disturbing, I'd say.

You should totally upload clips of those restored hd 60fps Oddworld cutscenes you keep showing in your videos! These are some of the most high quality versions of these cutscenes, and it be great to see clips of them in full on their own. You could even make a side-by-side comparison video between yours and the un-edited in game cutscenes. Unless of corse there’s problems about copyright and such, which would be understandable....

You might already know this (or even referenced it in another video) but there's a teaser for the Vykkers in Abe's Exodus. In one of the levels there is a door labelled 'Vykker's Labs: Coming Soon' which cannot be accessed. Just a cute teaser for Munch's Oddysee - or possibly Squeaks Oddysee since that was intened to be the 3rd Oddworld game at the time.
I actually saw old BW old footage where some German doctor experimented in head grafting. He basically severed the head of a small dog, and attached it to the shoulder of a slightly larger dog. It was really messed up watching the dog run around with the other dog's head still alive and protruding from its shoulder.
Its crazy how each industrial species of the oddworld , they have unique and peculiar roles who descibres them. How glukkons are mean for been empresarial gastronomy or sligs to been rutless for been the secuirity guard or even the Interns been like teen jerks. But vykkers shiver my spines for they sadic nature.. who knows what others industrial specie in the oddworld are even more worst of them!
I 'restored' them (idk if that's an accurate term lol) and did some video editing to try to really 'bring out' the image, as I seem to call it, to try to get the footage in as high quality as I can.
Seeing those concept Arts of the fuzzles makes me think of why they don't make those mutated fuzzles a gameplay mechanic like each type of mutated fuzzles do something to help Munch (sorry my bad English))
that would have give a good bost to the gameplay into puzzles and combat overall imagine thst spider fuzzles with interm finger could had been ordered to climb and enter inside small section from wich they activate something or they could disarm sligs pants bring em to mercy agaist mudokon warriors
As messed up as the Vykkers are at least they don't compare to the absolute deranged monster from Warhammer 40k known as Fabius Bile or even the twisted bastards from the Drukhari (Dark Eldar).
That seems more like a McDonald's reference, where the number served is many times larger than the number of people alive…as most any one person turns out to correspond effectively with many customers, as a repeat or recurring customer.
Even if they didn't get a new model... per say, on Soulstorm, I wonder if they will receive a redesign in the future... Nothin' too drastic, but I think they should have some touch ups, and HOPEFULLY properly appear in the next game.

It's pathetic how that lanning caique ruined THE best instalment in his own series by badly, badly "remaking" it and actually, in fact, ruining the whole franchise's prospects for it's own future, fully.
I would say realistically theyd be more akin to imperial japan because unlike the nazis the japanese did far worse and actually developed advancements in medicine through it. Its a common misconception that the nazis did this which they did try to do but unlike japan the nazi scientists were often fresh out of uni students where as japan used senior scientists and doctors and yeah.
