I actually agree with Garnt on McDonald’s Breakfast vs regular menu. Once in a blue moon, I’ll get a craving for a Quarter Pounder but I get cravings for McGriddles a lot more frequently
My list (not including desserts): Red wine braised short rib Ragu w/ fresh Pappardelle (best pasta dish) Neapolitan Pizza (all pizza styles are good, but a good Neapolitan is on another level) Japanese Curry w/ tonkatsu (probably my favourite comfort food) Oatmeal - savoury or overnight (gamechanger, quick easy, versatile) Soft-boiled eggs (easy and delicious, can add them to any meal to boost protein and nutrition) Honey and butter on fancy toast (get yourself a nice crusty artisan loaf cut into 1-inch slices and toast and cover with butter and honey. Simple but it slaps) Authentic Tacos (do I need to elaborate?) Easy Steak Dinner (a med-rare ribeye with pan sauce, seasoned boiled potatoes, air fried broccoli and blistered cherry tomatoes. With some finesse, can all be made in 30 min) Goan Pan Rolls (childhood food, its Indian seasoned ground beef wrapped in a crepe which is breaded and shallow fried and then dipped in spicy ketchup)
I agree with Garnt (kind of). Fast Food as an adult is supposed to be a treat. I would never waste my treat meal on the likes of McDonalds. It is way too expensive for what you actually get nowadays. It also doesn't fill you up like it did when I was a kid. I mainly go to McDonald's to ask if the milkshake machine is working (which it isn't 90% of the time).
The best description I can think of about Pad Krapao is it's "thoughtless food" for Thai people. When I don't know what I want to eat, Pad Krapao is the menu I always go back to. I can eat Pad Krapao in any time of the day. The spiciness of Pad Krapao in some place is a good kickstarter for me as a breakfast.
I honestly agree with Connor about McDonald's breakfast making me feel like garbage. I love a sausage or chicken mcgriddle but i feel like i ate poison afterwards
I feel samosas suffer from the same thing they were saying about most thai food and nandos about SO much flavor that imo they can be very heavy after just a few bites. Delicious food though
It is the egg. The egg from McDonald's, doesn't matter if it is the folded or the sunny egg and it always makes me sick after eating it. No matter how good it taste the egg always makes me sick from McDonald's breakfast.
My guilty pleasure food item that I eat really at any point of the day is a can Heinz Spaghetti & Sausages. No idea why I’m so hooked on that stuff but if there’s a can available and I’m hungry and just want something quick I’ll just open a can and pour it either in a bowl then put it in the microwave or pour it into a pan and heat it up on the stove then pour it into a bowl to eat (I prefer cooking it on the pan since I like the distinct flavour you get from it) 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah when it comes to Mcdonald's the only think I'll eat is the breakfast. The sausage one makes me feel sick but the bacon and ham ones are fine for me And the fries are mid.
For me it’s gotta be Shutki (dried fish). Smells like ass, tastes like crack. Intensely savoury and spicy and if you cook it properly the smell goes away. Also savoury french toast with sweet chilli sauce.
Black people do the same thing. It depends on the country, some care more about the ingredients and others more about the seasonings and how it's cooked. Italian food is also like Japanese food in the sense that they care more about the quality of ingredients and the flavor standing on its own then seasoning it heavily. As a black person in America we tend to go for cheaper ingredients and will spend on the seasonings and season the crap out of something and we also care about how it's cooked and the texture.
On the McDonald's breakfast menu, my favorite item has to be the Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddle. I feel like I die a little every time I eat one, but its worth the lost days at the end of my life.
Bro…I want to passionately kiss Garnt for his adoration of McDonald’s breakfast. SAME homie, SAME. I dunno what it is but ANY breakfast sandwich is SSS tier. I could eat them until I die. It is seriously my favorite food on this planet.
The McDonalds nuggets are amazing in my opinion every time i go to McDonalds i get the chicken nuggets and fries but regarding the burgers they are awful but that's burgers in general the only burgers are actually good are the homemade ones grab some ground beef from the store and make burgers with it that is so good but fast food burgers don't taste good
The Edge just sounds like they spread the toppings all the way to the edge of the pizza. If Garnt slipped the Pizza Hut employees a few extra bucks, I'm sure they'd just make it for him lol
7:30 (ish) I think what Connor is talking about is prik nam pla? If you ask for this in a Thai restaurant and they don't know what you're talking about, you should probably just leave.
Garnt, a Thai man: This is my favorite Thai dish.
Connor, a white man: You're wrong.
I can see were Grant is coming from. I do that with New Ramen places when I order the Miso. If they can't get that right, the rest is TRASH.
Garnt isn't Thai. He's British. Thai is not an ethnicity.

Someone needs to tell Garnt about Chicago Tavern style because thats what Pizza Hut tried to emulate with The Edge
Best pizza style.
W Yang Wenli pfp
You don't understand, it's not made by Pizza Hut (the smell of Pizza Hut was the reason)
Some greasy shredded hashbrowns with a pepper gravy hits so hard. Add some cheese
Connor : Let's not judge each other and be civil.
Joey : Are you telling that to yourself?
Then Connor proceed to mock people's taste after :v

I like how Garnt choose a specific fried chicken, the south asian fried chicken
My favs are
Eel, any Japanese style
Indian samosas
Turkish coffee
Shrimp and Grits
Grilled corn on the cob
Miso soup ❤
I feel samosas suffer from the same thing they were saying about most thai food and nandos about SO much flavor that imo they can be very heavy after just a few bites. Delicious food though
@@ahairylobster8524 now I wanna make them and try them for the first time
Oh my god Connor thanks now I know im not the only one who feels like death after a McDonalds breakfast
Can’t relate. One dollar menu burger, I’m finna throw up. 7 egg McMuffins? Pure elation and satisfaction for hours.
Shrimp. Chips.
They should change the title to “Garnt’s Food Guilty Pleasure List”
The hash brown slander from Connor was disgusting, but Garnt's just full-on McDonalds slander was straight-up betrayal
Hash browns were great 😃

And the McDonald's breakfast taste better with the Diablo sauce from taco bell.
This episode was hilarious
A sausage egg McMuffin slaps. So much better than the McGriddle. I do adore the hash browns, though.
The one menu item I almost always get from McDonald's is Fillet-o-Fish. I never really say no to that.
Krapow moo with a fried egg, is a great comfort dish and test dish
Just in case Garnt still sees this, that kind of pizza is called a bar pie(NJ CT - apizza) or a St. Louis style pizza.

I like how Connor can’t understand why his anime 3x3 was sus but has the same mandatory outlier/guilty pleasure requirement for the food 3x3.

Grant: I don't really have any hot food takes
Fans: the last three years would disagree
My biggest problem with McDonald's is that everything is too small. The only thing reasonably sized for its price is the quater pounder.
Garnt being right again with his McDonald's take!
the holy mcgridlle is unmatched

I loved this episode
Fried rice is my baseline test for any asian restaurant. It's a basic food, and if you can't make that, then it's not good.
any kind of street taco
Bro…I want to passionately kiss Garnt for his adoration of McDonald’s breakfast.

Burger King fries have always been/ are currently and will always be vastly superior to McDonalds fries.
culvers wins everything garnt try the cheese curd burger. literally a patty size cheese curd on a burger
I never had a McDonalds hash browns

The dough is probably different because it's thinner and doesn't puff up at the edges
My list

Warning to McDonald’s nuggets fans: there is silly puddy ingredients in that stuff

Hot garlic shrimp chips.
Man, a bag of doritos, a can of coke and some nuts chocolate bar is what i really need some times, and i'm 33 y/o.
I don't really like Mcdonalds. The breakfast items though. Yes.
McDonald's have the absolute worst fries in existence and I can never understand the obsession with them. Awful.
Connor: Nuggets are awful
I agree to disagree on behalf of all children
I respect garnt's 3 by 3 I would eat all those foods no problem
They've never had waffle house hash browns.
I never had Waffle House SOBER

As a British person I've got to say you are absolutely correct. Kebab pizza is top quality.
I love Joey’s laugh so much lol
I feel like some of their food takes, they are not guilty about it...
I don’t eat McDonald’s.
Boycott McDonalds
KFC fries are 10x better than McDonald's
garnt taste in food is super average : but out of the 3 he has the best taste in food , this is insanity 😂
Do I NEED to explain the McD breakfast??? YES!!!!
We dont need another british comment on asian food.
