Thanks for sharing all your tricks of the trade, like the hair straightener on the rope! You are excellent at spinning a story and the inspiration you get while working is terrific, that bear trap idea from watching a show on bears as you were working 🤯and the bellows, you nailed it, it looks very much like a vintage one I thrifted that we actually use!
Please keep making these excellent videos, I know they must take a lot of work so in case you don’t hear it enough, please know how appreciated you are!

You really convey your enjoyment for the creation of miniatures. While I’m sure there is a challenge in completing your goal… you seem to have “joy” in the journey.
Given all that’s going on “everywhere”, (and I don’t even have t.v.), watching you work as I quilt or at the end of a very busy day; is a welcome - sigh… Truly, thank you for sharing.

You are so dedicated to your craft, adding the tiny details like the shading around the shelves and aging and making things looks used and grimy like your sink. I do have to agree with you about the dishes painted black and was glad to see you removed it. It adds a pop of color the scene needs for more realism. Hello again. I think you should just hang the snowshoes from the rack, on the room box's wall. I love how the tiny snowshoes turned out! I made some of those, years ago, and used green Birch twigs to bend into the shape of a showshoe, then used some thin sinew to make the webbing. Brown thread works better, though, as it doesn't put too much pressure on the twigs. I like the way you made your webbed snowshoes, better! ~Janet in Canada

Hi Shyra, I just found your channel. I have always loved dollhouses and was obsessed at one point and went to Chicago to see Coleen Moore's dollhouse, I was there for hours. Life happened and interests changed but I want to take this up again. I am in awe of you that you can see how to use something that would have been tossed and make it into something beautiful. Back when I was younger I never dreamed of making items, and to buy finished pieces was cost prohibitive to me. I am starting to build supplies and have used your likes, like above, but I am wondering if you have a comprehensive list of what I need? PS, I love your voice and I LOVE your humor. Thank you for all of your videos!!!

What is your opinion/experience regarding which product is better to create adhesion to a smooth surface…Gesso or Mod Podge? Is one better than another? Tips I should use? My goal is to add texture/shape onto plastic dollhouses/toys and want to avoid future chipping/cracking. Thanks much!!

I’m planning to really add bulk/shape/swirls and such. I’ve been researching products for the bulk such as air dry clay or UV resin, but adhesion is a big concern since I’m working on plastic toys.
