Do not know if I should cheer or cry. The greatest gun builder in the world has improved on the greatest gun in the world. Since I am not in the greatest country in the world, my USP cannot get the LTT upgrade.
I bought an HK USP 9mm Feb 2022, than a sig 229, and CZ po-1. Out of all. I like my cz. I will always keep my USP. The usp is my first hand gun. I used the HK 2-3 times a week at the range, 150 rounds each time for 3 months, it never had a problem. Had to RMA my sig 229 elite after 2 months of consistent use, My CZ trigger pin slipped out after 3 months. Out of all, CZ most accurate and the HK is the most reliable. Also, I kept my HK stock since ownership. As of now, I shoot 1-2 times a week.
Outstanding to see!! I Love the USP platform and this update was long overdue. I'd love to have my USP Expert 9mm worked over w/the optics cut. It would be one of the best and toughest duty 9mm's out there. I'm personally a fan of hammer fired pistols over striker fired... but that's just me.
LTT does fantastic work. Unfortunately, the USP comes with a proprietary rail, not a picatinny rail. Hopefully, Langdon Tactical will work on HK45s in the near future.
This is actually really exciting. For those that already own a USP, grey guns also offers slide milling and you can get the short reset kit from them directly.
But did Langdon machine the dust cover to a modern standard? I think a better light attachment is more important than an optics mount for practical use.
I wish someone would make a trigger shoe for the USP like the Mark 23. I love the all metal squared off feel of the Mark 23 and always found the USP triggers too curved. Not a deal breaker but something in between the current curved trigger and a Flat Face would be perfect!
Bravo LTT, if HK won’t try to update their platform Ernest will……and do it better than HK would anyway. LTT PX4 is still the greatest trigger of all time and you know it😉
2017 production, the double action is real heavy, but there isn't any fault with the single action, short and crisp, on par in its price range. they might have made improvement to the trigger group.
My grandfather has a hk usp 9 made in the year 2000. He hasn’t shot that beauty since 2001-2005. He came back from the shooting ranged, cleaned the gun and left it in his safe. Do older hk’s have issues?
Absolutely not, I am sure that gun is perfectly fine. Outside of extreme cases of rust or maybe a house fire, modern guns like the USP do not really age from anything other that shooting them. It sounds like it is basically brand new.
Ordered mine l, and it will be here in 2 days counting. It's going to pair well with LTT 92 Elite compact RDO, and HK p30. Just need an LTT Glock 19 to set me straight...
About to order one. Not sure what they meant with multiple optics plate options. I only saw RMR one offered so far. I but everything LTT. Have full size 92 Elite LTT RDO, PX4 Compact Carry LTT, HK P30 LTT…😎
Any before/after comparisons on DA/SA trigger group? The LEMs from LTT are the only version I’m familiar with - the Grayguns upgrades are def a major upgrade and worth the money 👍🏼
After the optic cut when you go to do the finish on the slide, are you able to just do the portion that you cut to keep the original finish on the rest of the side? Or do you have to do the whole slide?
@@LangdonTactical i try not to call and bug them about it. I think we are in the final leg of testing. Y'all are the best, thank you for bringing H&K into the light. Worship Christ and enjoy this day boys! Happy Sunday.
Now if only they would redo the frame with a 1913 rail. And before you comment, I already have the HK45T/CT, P30L, and VP9. I’d just love a USP with a rail instead of using an adapter
That is the problem for us. They cut the adjustable dovetail lower than the standard one and it is cut below the plate and where we need a screw to connect.
Do not buy this stuff unless you want your gun to look like shit and you want them to fk up the slide. And then also they will force you to Cerakote the whole thing as 'liability' to protect the cut, so then your beautiful USP slide will be ruined
@@davidr8467 It is the best finish that we can do in small batches. Nitride and other finishes require large quantities to be economical in any way. Otherwise, it is several hundred dollars more per slide to have them finished.
Is it just me or could they lower the background music on youtube videos like these? I just want to hear what they have to say, don't need the distracting background music. I'm not a boomer (millennial actually) before you say I'm old and out of touch. Love the work LTT does, would love if they worked on the VP9, although I don't think they do striker-fired work
Definitely going to get one of these. Probably wait for a 9mm. Now if only we could get one with an integral pic rail. Pipe dreams aside thanks for stepping up to the plate on the red dot cut @LangdonTactical Hk probably never will.
I'm old school, and to me the USP shouldn't have an optic on it. I know optics are the wave of the future but something about an optic on the USP seems wrong. Any other firearm sure. I'm glad the double action trigger can be upgraded though.
This is outstanding! Thanks to LTT for helping to keep the USP alive!!!!
Annnnnnnnnnd there goes my paycheck
AGAIN!😂
And my tax return I planned on saving
Yep, “take my money dammit!”

The Expert’s slide can’t be cut for an optic because of how it’s cut for the rear sight it comes with.
LTT and the work they do are second to none.
Thank you for the kind words!
great to see the USP still getting love
I would cry if you guys did a P226
Yes, Earnest, please make this happen!!! 🙏
I’m very excited about this. The USP has long been one of my favorite platforms.

GG&G pic rail adapter

HK has a match trigger- i have it in my USP and it's a major improvement.
Mine too, I love HK Pistols, their rifles are awesome as well
Been a dedicated HK owner/shooter since mid 90’s and seeing this option for the OG USP is awesome! Sign me up!
Would love to have this as well as an ambi safety done to my HK45T.
But did Langdon machine the dust cover to a modern standard?
I think a better light attachment is more important than an optics mount for practical use.
They have mounts to add lights…….the optic cut is way more useful that something that already exists

This looks good 👍. Would be great to see this offered on the newer HK45 as well!
I packed my USP into a box so fast I accidentally taped my hand to it.
This is great news! However, any plans for the H&K HK45? I have the non USP one. Thanks!
could you imagine a usp in 10mm. Oh man.
All it needs is the grip stipple and slide serrations from Landersweapon systems
Already ordered mine, can't wait to get it in! I have your 92 Elite RDO and it is fantastic, looking forward to another LTT custom in my collection :)
Thanks for your support!
@@LangdonTactical Did you guys give usp a pic rail for mounting surefire x300 series flashlight?
How much out the door for this?
Where from?
Battlehawk Armory has them for fideen hundo
Love the work you do. own a beretta ltt elite hoping that you come out with SA like 2011. Cheers from Switzerland
Despite having that horrible trigger. I owned one twenty years ago and it was extremely accurate. I would love to own this LTT

USP 45 was my first gun purchase (thanks Counter-Strike!) and I always hated the trigger. Tempted to send mine in for some love.
Thats called a training issue.
Throw a V9 detent plate in it and roll with it cocked and locked.
👏👏That is awesome, bringing some love back to one of the best pistols, now if HK could just update the rail.
Luckily the ggg mount and tlr1hl fit in the old duty holsters meant for the insight m3 made for the usp back in the day

I pray that LTT is going to get into the new 92xi because it needs your expertise!
When will these be available? I don’t see any USP models on your site
I've convinced myself that I need a Romeo2,doesn't look like this will work unless they add some more options.
I hate that I thought LTT was Linus Tech Tips at first lmao.
looks nice...when will the 1301 be back in stock though 😂
What about things like the HK 45's? I'm curious to know if LTT will work on those!
Let me know when LTT customizes the USP in 9mm and I'm sold.
We can already do that. We can do all the same stuff to the 9mm that we can to the 45.
I know everyone loves HK even though HK hates them but the Beretta 92 Ernest sprinkles his magic on is still the one to get!🧠🤯🔫
I own their Elite LTT. Straight magic.
Any possibility of an HK USP Compact variant? Preferably in 9mm...asking for a friend...
It's me, I'm the friend.
We can do the modifications to them. We are working with Lipsey's and HK and additional offerings.
Any chance I can send my USP45 Tactical in for the modifications?
Any before/after comparisons on DA/SA trigger group? The LEMs from LTT are the only version I’m familiar with - the Grayguns upgrades are def a major upgrade and worth the money 👍🏼
Same question here.. wondering the LTT LEM vs SA/DA comparison
Click on the video without thinking, I thought Linus Tech Tips started making guns😂
What's the new double action trigger weight?
Is there a way to remove the Langdon tactical logo from the slide?
Will you do the same for the 9mm version?
Funny: improved trigger, shortened reset. Where is all this in the video?
🔥
Please add the usp expert to your magic.
So I went to their site. I see nothing about the USP
Will this work on the USP 45 Tactical as well ?
As long as it is a non-adjustable sight version. We cannot cut the one that has the factory-installed adjustable rear sight.
Even the great, Ernest Langdon, couldn't change one of the USP's greatest flaws... the PROPRIETARY RAIL.
After the optic cut when you go to do the finish on the slide, are you able to just do the portion that you cut to keep the original finish on the rest of the side? Or do you have to do the whole slide?
Damn how about the HK 45C?
I’d love a 9mm full-size or tactical. He’ll even a expert again. I had them all back in tue day. I kick myself every day for selling them
When will work on the p2000 be available?
Nice. 20 years late, but nice.
All we need now is that flat trigger from GG!

That is the problem for us. They cut the adjustable dovetail lower than the standard one and it is cut below the plate and where we need a screw to connect.
Can I just buy the slide with the RMR cut?
Sorry, but no. HK does not have any extra slides for sale. Trust me, we asked....... several times....... over and over :-)
Maybe when I move to a free state, or if LTT decides to work on people's own USPs ...?
We do custom gun work for people's personal guns now. People ship guns in for work from all over the country.

Are the new sights suppressor height?
Will co witness at the bottom of the window I believe
where the hell are people ordering these? i cant find em.

Does it come in 9mm?
NEED USP EXPERTS IN 9mm AND 45 done like these please!
Just want the better trigger for my 9c
Should come with a Tb
No pic rail or front slide serrations ?
It's the standard USP as the starting model.
I see the proprietary rail wasn't converted to picatinny. Why not?
It’s a 30 year old design, they are not remolding the grip, just adding parts and milling the slide.
Do not buy this stuff unless you want your gun to look like shit and you want them to fk up the slide. And then also they will force you to Cerakote the whole thing as 'liability' to protect the cut, so then your beautiful USP slide will be ruined
