A movie having Clancy Brown in it is like having Tim Curry in it. You are guaranteed at-least one enjoyable character, no matter what the part is.
I forget who said it in what review, but “Tim Curry has been in a lot of one star rated movies. The only reason for that star is Tim Curry.”
@Little King Trashmouth it was said in the Home Alone 2 review by Nostalgia Critic... well, Aunt Despair... 😊
@molotov.artist or in highlander I love that guy I’d love to see Clancy in an alien movie
Clancy Brown? The same guy who voiced Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob?
@@gmanley1 And Lex Luthor from Superman TAS and Hadley from Shawshank Redemption.
You do have to admit the idea of Gus being so evil that when he comes back he is actually nicer was hilarious
He killed his pet rabbits, Zowie, Drew n his mom and Clyde. Also tried to kill Jeff and his dad and buried Jeff's mom in the pet cemetery. Also Zowie killed those poor kittens and Jeff's mom was insane. I don't think anyone was nicer in death lol
@@babydollsparkle1236 Gus was being nice to drew for a while after he came back. Drew there was entire scene of the boys talking how nice he had gotten after rebirth, film did show he was still evil with Drew's mom. It was still funny
@@babydollsparkle1236Drew and Clyde had it coming.
I just want a 90s style sitcom of Clancy Brown as a zombie stepdad just trying to be a better man then he was in life.
Mr Furlong sounds like a name you would give a cat
First Movie: Hermen Munster and Tasha Yar.
Second Movie: John Connor and Mr. Krabs.
ACTORS. They're just ACTORS.
@@titusmccarthy what? Next you’ll be telling me Game of Thrones wasn’t a historical re-enactment like Band of Brothers or Homeboys in Outer Space.
Sometimes...
Sometimes no sequel is better.
This sequel worked but yeaaaa... could a used better child actors.... ironically I'm curious how anakin skywalker's actor would have made a good character in this
It's like we watched a different movie altogether because this was a big ol' dump.
@@aarondavis8943 No, it's called having a difference of opinion on the same movie. Shocking I know but that does happen, even on the internet.
But without a sequel we wouldn't get zombie Clancy Brown.
Anything with Clancy Brown in it, is already a win for me. He went full Kurgan in this and I loved every minute of it!
Probably one my favorite actors.
I want to see a movie where Clancy Brown and Ron Perlman co-star. A bat shit crazy horror movie where they team up as the killers. Just make it as bat shit crazy as they can.
Fulgrim I would watch the living shit out of that
He was the best part of carnivale
By the gods,Clancy doing Kurgan IS 1 of the best baddies..EVER.
'I have something to say,it's better to burn out then to fade away!'
Rrrraaaahhhh!!!
Fucking awesome
"Why don't you bury that suit so it can come back the right size?" Lol.
Clancy is the best thing about this movie.
Lex Luthor vs. John Connor.
I agree.
Much like Tim Curry in the original ‘It’ miniseries. Although this isn’t technically Stephen King.
Clancy zombie is the best thing ever
Jokerz 79 he reminded me of Willem Dafoe from Spider-Man. He just hammed it up so much, it was down right laughable.
"Spongeboy, me bob! I've been mauled by a possessed dog, and I'm going to die. Argh argh argh argh argh!"
You can't convince me that emo kid trying to bring his mom back wasn't buried in the Pet Sematary before the movie started.
That would have been a good twist
Even I have to admit that this film deserves a better Rotten tomato score for Clancy Brown alone.
Are you feeling it now, Mr. Krabs?
I'm feelin' a warm spot.
Mega Man X Powered Up Sorry
I love how the end of the movie memorializes every character who died in it, regardless of whether they were decent people or cruel bastards to begin with.
Let's be honest, if the stepfather is Clancy Brown or Terry O'Quinn, it's okay to root for them.
There OK in Lost though
Clancy Brown was my real-life stepdad and every time he beat me I secretly hoped for more. I was really rooting for the guy. Don't let me off so easy. Y'know?
@@davestar4718 Have you seen the movie Stepfather?
@@jcaceres516 years ago. Nasty man. Good acting.
Both fuckin rock as actors.
Clancy Brown is enjoyable in this movie
In every movie.
@@waterandafter and video games
Zombie Clancy brown is among the top 10 best things ever happened in cinema!
My sister named her son Andrew. I always referred to as "Drewww Drewww Buddy...lost my keys."
If Clancy Brown played Jack Torrence in The Shinning Mini-Series, that would’ve made up for it IMHO
I'm just happy here that the kitten John Connor adopted was safe to the end. Not so much on his siblings though :
Yes, me too. I really tough the bullies killed that cat at the begining of the movie. But I think Tiger (the cat) was a she.
You can tell Clancy Brown was having fun with this film.
I prefer Mr Krabbs as the lead villain if you will
ARRRR! I LOVE KILLING KIDS, ARRRRRRR, ARR, ARR, ARR, ARR, ARR!
I liked him when he beat Smittywerbenjagermanjenson and the zombie horde by himself.
no we actually witnessed the origin of dr cortex
He can exploit the corrupted burial ground to resurrect things for money.
"Ahoy Sponge-boy me Bob! I've been buried in the Pet Cemetery and now I've been resurrected as a zombie bent on revenge! ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH!"
Clancy Brown is such a great actor!
Also, I love seeing Lloyd!! ❤️
I've liked him in a lot of stuff, but Clancy as Hank in Detroit: Become Human really cemented him as a favorite for me. The role of a bitter, washed up cop with a heart of gold was what he was born to play; it's been done a thousand times, but never as good as that imo.
I think my favorite scene is the one where Connor is explaining that his design was to make him more approachable and appealing to people and Hank just stares at him with a look of mild disgust and says, "Well, they fucked up." The look on his face, the timing of the pause and delivery, and the tone of his voice were all perfect.
the eegah reference is fitting, i've always thought clancy brown was a more handsome richard kiel
I've been playing Cinema Snob episodes on the big TV all day in my shop. It really warms the heart when I see customers stop looking at products to watch the screen. On the other hand its keeping them from buying things... How will I pay my rent?! Thanks Snob. Thanks a lot.
No, really.. Thank you. Your episodes and a glass pipe store go hand in hand. The customers seriously love Cinema Snob.
I suddenly imagine someone walking into your shop and overhearing the host of Will It Fit.
I know pot had to be involved somehow...
GyroMurphy come for the glass stay for the snobbery?
“Extra 5% off your bill if you mention which is your favorite Cinema Snob episode.”
Where's is this store?! I need new glass😊
Clancy Brown really landed on his feet after this.
5:36 Ahh, Clancy Brown, what a gift to acting.
"Hey Jeff, ya know your mother and I used to TOWER OVER THE MOUNTAINS, AND BURY MY SWORD DEEP IN ASGARD, but not before I came up with a plan to defeat that damn Superman!"
Ah yes hello, I was wondering if you could play that song again
This is one of my guilty pleasure movies... Clancy Brown is awesome... and throw in some the Jesus and Mary Chain!
Poisitves about this movie? Clancy Brown.
Negatives about this movie? Pretty much everything else
If you take a look at the 1990 It miniseries before It Chapter 2 that would be awesome
you know i'm prolly going to be the only one on here that says this and i'm okay that i am but i really do love the Original better, it's got flaws lots of them but for a time that they could not show a lot that they can now and for the budget they had they did pretty good i think. and yes part 2 is a bit weaker than the 1st part. even Tommy Lee Wallace thinks that too... and yes i did enjoy the remake of it there were things in remake that really did piss me off that i really hated such as the timeline for example and making it in the 80's instead of the 50's. for one
and i really really hated that ending, but yeah i'd love to see Brad Snob the Mini-Series
Nostalgia critic already did it
I was gonna say the same thing
@@anthonycerulli5524 They've done the same movies before.
Anthony Hudak highly unlikely
I’m getting a flashback to Highlander with Clancy’s driving.
Clancy Brown is legit one of my favorite actors.
I see Mr. Krabs is REALLY feeling it now.
Can you feel it now mr Krabs 😏
I too thought the kid bully looked an awful lot like Danny Cooksey (Bobby Budnick from Salute Your Shorts and a small role in T2)!
And Growing Pains with that guy who tried to save Christmas 🤔 forgot his name.
Current Snob:" Now I thought we were gonna tone down on your flabby ass."
Fat Snob:"Hey, I'm sorry I'm not the stud you are."
"She may be human, but she was my pet in the bedroom..."
For a second I thought he was narrating it from the son's perspective and I thought "that's a bit much, even for the Cinema Snob".
(15 minutes later)
"Don't bang your mom bro!"
Nevermind.
Is it just me or does Clancy Bown look just like Jaws from 007
You’re not the only one. Snob makes a quip of it in this review when he says that this was a time when he looked like Eegah
Not just you, Highlander82. (I know it’s 85 but I needed it to rhyme because my life is empty.)
Clancy Brown clancybrowin'
Clancy Brown Zombie: There can be only one!!!
Christopher Lamber: OK, dude, just chill. You can be the only zombie.
The appreciation of Clancy Brown makes me so happy :)
I rented this so many times as a kid.
I actually LOVE this movie...especially the crazy zombie cop dad
The part with the taxidermist really gave me chills when I was a kid. No idea why. But maybe cuz Shitlist by L7 rules...
Clancy Brown really is the only reason to see this movie -- well, that and make ER jokes every time Dr. Green is on screen.
Great shit, as always.
6:41 random thought, dawww I forgot how cute possums are
Sweet! Another Lloyd video!
Oh, Brad's in it, too. I guess that's okay.
I'm just gonna say it. Stabby Patty. Stabby Patty(s). All new formuler, me lad!
Pet Semetary Two feat. The Hast Slinging Slasher.
Wow, Mr Krabs took a dark turn in this one!
You wanna know what’s awesome in my world? Constantly forgetting that CB voices Krabbs and then the happy squee I get when reminded.
(My life is pretty empty.)
I've been waiting for this. I love this film. It's not particularly great but I adore it, the Illinois and Iowa local stations used to play it all the time.
This review is hilarious. All the references made me crack up. Clancy was a badass trash man. Of course I thought the kitten Tiger was so cute. Reminds me of my kitten Cookie. Yea. I know I'm not funny. But Cinema snob sure is. This movie is ridiculous.
Last year, you released a vid the day before my birthday. This year, you released a vid on my birthday.
I know it wasn't intentional at all, but it makes me feel special all the same. Thanks, Brad.
Still would love someone to explain the "Bury your own" concept not counting for Clyde being buried by Gus
Maybe Clyde was Gus' bastard child? Lol
What you bury comes back as yours is how i always took it...like in the first one, there was a scene where jud tells creed church is his cat now...cause hes the one who buried it
Brad's animal voice is the beast part of these
a small Lloyd cameo? sold.
4:34 Clancy Brown was in "Revenge Of The Nerds III".
The mom at the end always creeped me out! Clyde was pretty frightening too!
She seemed insane dead and alive lol
It's like you're suddenly reviewing my childhood.
First Tango & cash, now this... both of these were on regular viewing cause we had them on VHS.
Now you need to do a certain horror film thats also a dog comedy. Man's Best Friend. Has a killer dog that is shot likely Beethoven or Air Bud movie. Its a fun movie worth watching.
Can't wait to see your review on Sometimes They Come Back Again - the most hilarious (and so bad it's good) - not-King sequel to Steven King movie.
Clancy Brown is literally the only reason this film is watchable.
I loved this movie. It had a decent grunge soundtrack.
13:15 Sounds like a riff from Spiderman : The animted series from the 90s theme song. lol
I always liked that scene in Pet Sematary 2 where the dog was in the rocking chair
8:30
I'm a bit confused because I was told, 'Wolfie's just fine.'
That'll teach me to trust the T-1000!
Phantasm Review!!!
I somehow like Clancy's character way more after he came back from the dead.
nice to see Lloyd in on the videos ^_^
@15:00 "My God, if you f**k a dog in your dreams, you f**k a dog for real..."
I just discovered the Snob and I love him. His smart ass, arrogant, douchey humor is awesome. Also while I do love Doug Walker's reviews, I actually like that he doesn't do all these over the top reviews. It's just a guy in a chair. Also, has anyone ever told the Snob his voice sounds eerily like Wil Wheaton's?
It's got Clancy Brown, how bad can it really be?.....
Not too bad, I hope.
I’ve seen this..... it’s bad....
Yeah even Clancy cant save this turd.
@@KellyF105 Honestly, still more fun than part 1.
Better pacing, more coherence, better gore/exploitation feel and NOT HINDERED BY DALE MIDKIFF'S PLASTIC PERFORMANCE.
I love Clancy Brown. I also Love Fred Gwynne from the first one. I think for the second one they took what could have been an awesome premise and just kinda did it wrong. Personally I think it would have worked better if the kid DID like his stepdad because it would have given him more of a reason to want to revive him, and more of an impact when his undead dog killed the stepdad.
That’s just one example I think they could have done better. I just think I’m more mad at the what could have been potential of this. Maybe even see the supposed Wendigo that Stephen King talked about in the Pet Semetary novel
I loved this movie's 90's soundtrack. In fact, most horror movies aimed at teens in the 90's had awesome soundtracks. Oh yeah, Clancy Brown was awesome too!
I honestly don't remember this movie being that crazy lmao, thanks for sending me down memory lane :P
This movie came on about 3 in the morning when I was supposed to be getting a good night's sleep for the SAT later that morning. Sweet.
"Hey, you know your mother and I used to be sweethearts? ACKACKACKACKACKACKACK!! But seriously, stay away from me dear daughter Pearl. Nobody wants to see Cinema Snob review 'The Whales Have Eyes.'"
"Word, bro-so much word! Freaking.... word!" How did I not once say this to a homey in the 90s?
This one is such a guilty pleasure for me. Great movie for a drinking game.
Love your vids, keep up the good work
[20:49] "Poison Heart" by The Ramones ^__^
Clancy Brown carries this movie
Great piece of 90s nostalgia. Love it.
13:28 noooo not Carl the pugapegacorn
Steaks and pancakes! Lloyd has the best entertainment lawyer ever.
I remember seeing this and thinking what's with this kid and his mom relationship.
'OOOOOOOOOOOH, THAT DARN FELINE! Uh, I mean CAT!'
Yes waiting in an airport and boom the Snob drops at the best time.
Ahemmm "Pet Sematary Two Electric Boogaloo!"
Great video my man!!
always nice to see Lloyd (oh yeah nice job, Snob)
Yep was waiting on this one!☺☺👍👍
Oh man that movie... so many memories...
The quips for this one were great. Clancy Brown is the best thing about this movie.
Still love this movie. Was the first horror movie i saw in the theaters.
Love you guys! You're good, funny people. 😃🖤
Wow. I'm surprised no one made a quip about Clancy Brown's character resurrecting as a crustacean.
Hilarious review Bro
No regrets saying in that I really love this movie.. it's 100% loony and lacks morals all around. It's what makes it so damn fun. People die so hard and savagly in this out of nowhere then come back and are so random and evil, it's pure fun. Edwards may have been a dick and did the whole "I'm too good to be here," routine but Clancy took his slack and saved the movie. Furlong and his bestie weren't bad either.. it does teen angst and loss pretty okay when it's not crazy.
My favorite scene's the sex dream with the dog.. that one's pure loonyness. Can't wait to get it on Blu Ray next year.
Best thing about this film? Clancy Brown. "I have something to say. It's better to burn out, than to fade away."
