- In this video we take our lost C10 and give it it’s first bath in over 10 years. The engine bay had the biggest rat or squirrel nest that I’ve ever seen, and we start removing the dead animal smell from the interior.

i think this is gonna be my favorite series. if you have questions about the engine (which you didnt mention is actually a 350 and not a 305) please dont hesitate. my dad is very knowledgeable with them. and you can pick up new bench seat on LMC trucks at a pretty fair price, atleast you could back in the day.
yall cleaning this thing up reminded me of my old 79 gmc when my dad gave it to me when i was 16. it was sitting under trees for over 3 years. i spent a week scrubbing it just to get the sap and mold off. no pressure washer back then.

I bet Grandpa is smiling, My dad had a 77 Silverado for YEARS, his was a 4wd though, wish I could find a 2wd that was actually in my price range to buy because I've always wanted to build a 77, His truck, MY way. I wanna build a daily driver street truck, I want it to look like his truck, Buckskin Brown paint with a chocolate Brown roof, Chocolate Brown interior, white steelie wheels with the factory Chevy baby moon hubcaps but done with a slighly lowered 2wd truck and an automatic trans, His was a 4 speed manual but jumping out planes and helicoptors for 21 years in the Army have wrecked my knees and I can't drive a manual anymore because my knees don't always work.
